ข้อดี: I made the mistake booking a seat at a row in front of the wing exists and it did not recline but no one else in my row so I laid across the seats at midnight.
ข้อเสีย: I got stuck in check in line the day before at 0600 90 min before my flight with 4 others. I had to re-book and came in 3 hours early to get in okay sitting 60 minutes at the gate. If they had had announced to move us forward all would have boarded on time.

ข้อเสีย: Eventhough we ptovide all necessary documents Avianca staff in Airport Punta Cana ignored us and did not allow to fly. After that i made a complaint to Avianca Customer Service Administration about this, but no reply yet.

ข้อเสีย: Boarding process could have been better if you had someone move people to the side from other groups that were not called. Just saying in the load speaker doesn’t do the job.

ข้อเสีย: Hot cabin. No entertainment without paying. Passenger next to me vomiting, pressed call light NO one came, until crew walking bye. Then crew member refused to take bag of vomit from passenger. She had to carry it off the plane and dispose of it herself.

ข้อดี: A crew waiting at the plane entrance and help me with my carry on. Very friendly.
ข้อเสีย: Girl doing check in at airport counter wasn’t pleasant at all. Didn’t greet me o said thanks. I didn’t feel welcome. She just took my passport and return it to me with my boarding pass and told me to be at the gate at 11:20. Time was around 10:15AM

ข้อเสีย: Avianca has an additional security screening at the gate at San Salvador airport. It didn't add any more security, and no other airline has this. Not flying with them again as long as they have this unnecessary process

ข้อดี: The reason I rated this excellent is that the first lady at the baggage check-in desk did her best to put me and my fiance by assigning us together on the seat number 12 even though I lost my premium seat 7D- but I can forget that pain.
ข้อเสีย: Food needs dire improvement. I used to love Avianca because of the food and drink but now the food and drinks are very nominal compared to Avianca's own track record as I flew quite a few time with Avianca.
