ข้อดี: The overall general condition to the facility is very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a nice and well set breakfast area.

ข้อเสีย: THe atmosphere of our room was dingy. Seemed dark and dated. For the price I have seen better. The bed linens need updating and spiffing up, although the bed was comfortable. I didn't know the room had a handicapped bathroom, although that didn't bother me.

ข้อดี: The night we stayed it snowed. When we left we saw that the gentleman employee has gone through and cleared all the windshields of the cars of snow . THAT WAS FANTASTIC.! WHAT A GREAT EXTRA! PERSONAL SERVICE!

ข้อเสีย: With 3rd party bookings it is not possible to easily change plans / dates of travel. Customer service in this area needs to be addressed. I was very disappointed that during my booking process and before payment the room charge increased $20 per night. The price should never change at that time. If it happens again I will not use this service again.

ข้อดี: The hotel staff were all very professional and nice. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel and the pool appeared to be well maintained. It was and good stay.

ข้อเสีย: The room was "shop worn." Carpets very worn and stained. The desk and furniture showed significant signs of wear. The common areas were clean and well maintained, but the rooms are tired.

ข้อดี: Location to the Appleton Baseball Stadium. Overall a pleasant stay. Good Happy Hour. Very good Breakfast.

ข้อเสีย: The TV in bathroom did not operate. The window solid blind did not pull down to cover window, and there was a very bright outside street lamp shining into the room directly to the head of the bed. The pillows were all the same, even extras in the closet, which does not make a choice option for different individuals needs.

ข้อดี: Clean, up-to-date facilities, individual climate control, comfortable showers, good breakfast in a nice atmosphere, reasonably hot hot tub and refreshing pool. Nice outside deck areas. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

ข้อเสีย: The room was 61 degrees when we checked in at 1030pm. That is too too cold for this time of year. It took roughly 2 hours for the room to warm up to a decent temperature.

ข้อดี: Location was perfect for attending the concert at lions park. Near by World of Beer was welcome surprise at walking distance for after show food/drinks.

ข้อเสีย: Pool is small and was crowed so didnt bother using. Lobby bar didnt open till after 4pm.

ข้อดี: For the price paid the we were more than pleasantly surprised with the staff, the cleanliness of the room as well as the breakfast area. The fact they have a bar is extraordinary for a hotel in this price range. The staff was courteous and very helpful. And the location sure aided in our Christmas shopping. My wife and I would definitely stay at the Grandstay again with no hesitation.

ข้อเสีย: Staff was very rude when they didn't want to handle a situation. Blood was on the sheets. Then they lied to us and asked me to be more respectful. Of course it wasn't their fault so basically they were blaming us. Then the night shift thought it would be funny to keep ringing the phone at 12:00 at night until we unplugged it. If it wasn't so late we would have left and went somewhere else. Awful experience.

ข้อดี: The location and cost were very good for us. The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. They are renovating some areas. If they refreshed the rooms a little, it would be a very nice place to stay.

ข้อเสีย: The rooms are outdated - older carpeting, etc - they could use some refreshing. Although complimentary, the breakfast was not up to par with other hotels that offer complimentary breakfast.

ข้อดี: The price was right for a single-night stay and it was close enough to the meeting I attended the following day.

ข้อเสีย: The management had some problems with the date of my reservation, thinking that I would be in the hotel the following day. They had made a phone call previously to my home about the reservation. I thought that all information was clear. The hotel appeared a bit rundown and needs some renovation.

ข้อดี: Good location near shopping mall and other amenities such as restaurants, gas stations and other handy businesses for the motor traveler.

ข้อดี: It is a very nice aging hotel. The bathroom counter was filthy. I appreciated a place this nice with such a one day booking. Our room wasn't very clean.

ข้อเสีย: Our room was overloaded with furniture. The hide a bed was old and unpleasant. The ramps down to the cars for luggage were a disappointment. The steps to get into the hotel were very unfriendly. The place had a very southern plantation flavor.

ข้อดี: It's a fantastic hotel, great pool, water slide, bar and good breakfast. In a great location in town.

ข้อเสีย: The parking is far from good. We booked a room that was poolside and they put us in a corner room, non poolside next to the stairs. You can hear EVERYTHING from the stairs door slamming, snoring from another room and a dog barking in another.

ข้อเสีย: Well certainly adequate, the breakfast food could have been better. Little things like having more than one machine that people had to wait in line in for any coffee, decaf, and hot water all in one machine. Having a higher-quality cream cheese instead of the dry, crumbly cheap stuff. The hot tub was dangerously hot. This went far beyond health code hot. We wish there had been a swimming pool as well.

ข้อเสีย: Thin walls! We heard every move the people made above us. The rooms are small. They're good for a night but I wouldn't stay much longer. Not a lot of value for the high cost.

ข้อเสีย: Also, they lied about having pillow top mattresses, very uncomfortable bed. And breakfast was awful, only protein were hard boiled eggs, no breakfast meats.

ข้อดี: The front staff were very nice and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The room was nice because it separated the sleeping area and living room area with an actual door. That is a very nice feature for young children who go to sleep earlier than the adults do.

ข้อเสีย: The pool was shutdown during our stay, with hopes of it being fixed within our stay time. I was there for eye surgery, and we had hoped for the pool to entertain our children. The staff did offer to let us cancel, but we had no time to look for other hotels with working pools. It would have been nice to receive a phone call prior to checking in so we could've made arrangements ahead of time.

ข้อดี: An easy 5 minute drive to the airport, this hotel was also within easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, movie theatre, and family fun. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Large pool, spa, and breakfast area were also appreciated. Best price in town.

ข้อดี: We as attended a reception in town. HoJo's location was only 10 minutes away so we chose this hotel for that reason plus the low cost. Best part of the stay was the Glass Nickle pizza establishment next door. Very fast, hot, tasty pizza.

ข้อเสีย: Hotel is in the process of remodeling. Had to take a long way around to get to the room. Hallway was stifling hot but the AC was fine in the room. There was blood on the sheets which we didn't notice until morning. The handle came off of the tub control. Bathroom mirror was hazy. There was a notice in the breakfast area that there would be a $10 charge to take food back to the room.

ข้อเสีย: The first thing I noticed when I walked into our room was the wall mirror had hand prints all over it so I could tell it hadn't been cleaned. Then when we sat on the beds, my daughter noticed a Dorito on the floor so it made us question whether the room had even been vacuumed. We also found the hallways dirty and the breakfast area dirty. When my daughter took a cream cheese for her bagel, it was green!

ข้อเสีย: The water l level in the hot tub was 12" too low and the temperature was too high. They need communication with Kayak as to the age of the child. It let me enter 17, but hotel considered that age an adult and charged $20.00 extra.

ข้อเสีย: We checked into our room and was hit by the smell of mold and cigarette smoke. There were burn holes in the comforters and that wasn't even the worst part. I lifted up the blankets to discover the sheets have not been changed. There was black hair and crusty stains all over my bed. I went into the bathroom to find the tub was not clean either. There was soap scum and black hair all inside the tub. My friends and I were completely disgusted. Not to mention the creepy activity that was going on within this hotel. The other guests staying there gave us an uneasy feeling. We wanted our money back to stay at another hotel but we were informed by the front desk that we had to wait until 11pm bc he does not issue out refunds. My group and I were so disturbed we gathered all our belongs and waiting in the car until 11pm to receive the refund. When I informed the front desk person about what was going on, he did not seem surprised. He even mentioned their housekeeping staff is not the greatest. CLEARLY! I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE. It's not even fit for animals let alone people.

ข้อเสีย: I didn't even have the chance to stay here. It seems every time I attempt to stay at this motel there's some sort of issue. I had friends coming from out of town needing a place to stay, but they are not 21. Hence they don't want to spend so much $$ for a room for one night. When I went there were restrictions no where informing me online that they were not taking local clients. What is that bs? From all of my experiences you barely get what you pay for. Horrible service, and very low maintenance environment. Do not recommend this place at all!

And the thermostat was apparentley broken because our room was almost 100 degrees no matter what we did and the front desk was unable to help us. And when I originally made my reservation it was for a room with a king size bed and the hotel changed me to a room with 2 double beds. Not the most comfortable stay by far!
