Location and parking even though the $15 per day is really high. Didn't have a fridge for all 3 nights we stayed. Asked for it to be fixed within 10 minutes of check-in and they said no problem, we will fix it or swap it in the morning. Heard the same thing for the next couple days but it never happened. Unfriendly staff.
The manager (owner) was a very pleasant lady. Room was very large and comfortable. We would recommend it to others.
The hotel was fine and very close to the center town, just 3 bus stop. Very quiet and staff very friendly.
privacy, friendly staff and quiet surrouding top rooms were quite hot
perfect stay! I will stay here once again.
The breakfast was good. The first night, I was put in a room that had no nightstand or bedside lamp - they were both clearly broken, as the shelf that used to be the nightstand was laying on the floor and there was a bracket to attach a lamp. There was no information in the room regarding the hotel or the neighbourhood. The staff was very unhelpful and didn't have any information regarding how someone could phone me in my room or the WLAN password.
Nice breakfast, and the reception desk workers were very helpful. They changed the name of the Hotel, under a new owner, which made it difficult to find.
We have paid 139 Euros for a night. It very much!!! It is a lot of for this hotel. Bad numbers, the bad location.
Close to the areas I wished to visit
staff was very nice breakfast was weak...no hot items,,,far away from downtown.... carpet and chairs dirty....phone was hard to use....
Couldn`t have been better, home from home. Public transport 50 yards away. My car was left secure in the garage for 3 day`s. Nothing was too much trouble for this Hotel
+central location, friendly staff, good breakfast, reasonable prices for wireless intrnet connection
The staff where very friendly and helped you anyway they could possibly do. It was firest class service from them. I cannot speak highly enough of them.
the location was ok for a budget hotel thats not right in the city centre the bed was realy uncomfortable
Receptionist was very service minded. The beds could have been more comfortable.
Good breakfast. Bad room for long people.
Staff were very good and helpful, hotel was clean and well kept Busy road outside the hotel made it a little loud at night with traffic noise
proximity to main railway station and shopping centers. The traffic noise from the mainroad just in font of the hotel. Due to none-availability of a ventilation system in the rooms one cannot close the windows to reduce the noise.
Good location, walking distance to train stop, quite enviroment and good breakfast
Very good value for money. Close to City Center, and only a 10min walk from Hans Martin Schleyer Halle, Porsche Halle and Mercedes-Benz Sports Arena. Very calm.
location to Mercedes museum was excellent and the helpfulness of the manager
Hotel staff were most hospitable, friendly and exceptionally helpful. I have no complaints at all about this Hotel.
It was around 500 metres from the Mercedes Stadion which was the reason I was in Stuttgart, great place with good old-fashioned service and a delicious breakfast. It is a tram journey out of town, but for any sports events in Stuttgart, this is a great place.
Small and clean hotel. Surprisingly, staff speaks in russian well.
staff very friendly and helpful, rooms very clean and only two minutes walk to train station
breakfast was excellent, parking was right at the entrance and free of charge and the room was clean and tidy.
Extremely helpful staff and delicious breakfast! Very, very good value for the cost.
Friendly staff, spotless room and good breakfast. Absence of lift
The hotel and staff are very nice. It's a new building and the location is quiet, but still in the city. I recommend this hotel and will stay there again. They close early and the sign wasn't in English, so I had trouble getting there and getting in, but if I was German I doubt I would have had this issue. It's not a reflection of the hotel.
Our room was very clean and the bed was very conforfable. Breakast is ok.Service is very good although no wi-fi.There is a little bar where you can help yourself at any time which is great. no wi-fi
Friendly staff, and i could get some snacks and drinks downstairs at night without having to go out.
Lovely big room & friendly staff
Personel was friendly and the hotel was really clean Our stay was perfect
breakfast was ok, placed in a quiet area, however it is difficult after only one night to have a clear image, but I shall choose your hotel again whenever I shall have the chance to come to Stuttgart again The room was too small
Considering the room was only 49euros it was outstanding value. Little touches like a CD/radio player in the room along with a mini, fridge with minibar and a portable fan were greatly appreciated! Very clean, bright and fresh. Even though I arrived at around 16:00 the room was not ready. No lift to the floors. Being by a school was not appreciated as being woken up by screaming kids in the morning was not the best way to wake up. The shower head was broken, but useable. If you are travelling to Stuttgart for sightseeing then this hotel was about a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the centre so may not be what you want.
Clean hotel VERY small bathroom, no lift and an awkward staircase which is not easy to carry suitcases up! Reception staff could have been friendlier, but polite enough.
the friendliness of the staff the distance from the centre of stuttgart, the small size of the restaurant, the fact that my room was not ready when i arrived despite emailing my arrival time as requested and i had to come back in one hour(however,i was able to leave my luggage)
The room was cold and uncomfortable, there was a heater but insufficient for the size of the room
In summer time, not avialable air conditioner.
Guess I shouldn't be surprised, but no A/C. Pretty ok place to stay, but minimal by U.S. standards.
The hotel closes on sunday afternoon
nothing special calmmy
it's near to the Cannstatter Wise (about 10 minutes by walk), relaxing atmosphere, cleanliness the room was very small, but the bathroom was indecently small... The hotel staff was very kind, and offered a twin-bed accomodation, but the second bed was an uncomfortable foldable thin bed
The relax hotel is far away from beeing relaxing. I was disapointed. The rooms are tiny and the walls thin like paper. Bad value for money. I won't book this hotel again.
The reception was very very helpful and cordial Carrying the luggage to the 3rd floor, and size of the bathroom
the bathroom of room is very small. not suitable for a big person
it is close to the train station the rooms are so humid and the the carpets smell, the sound of the train is so high.
Nice stuff even they don't speak english nor spanish. Not too much variety kn breakfast but it was ok.
Good location near river, park, underground station, thermal baths, friendly staff, room was small but clean, good value for money, will stay there again
Location good. Staff good but restricted English (which is basically the international language) Did not have en-suite but at this price I thought that the hotel was very good. Intend to stay there with my family in Spring.
Ease of getting to the City Centre and also the Mercedes museum.
very clean, cozy room the receptionist couldn't speak English, so you need to speak Germany if you want to ask something.
Very close to the thermal baths, quiet location, near to tram line, near the park and zoo. Room had a bad smell. Towels smelled of smoke. Walls paper thin. Room didn't feel clean. I moved to another hotel that was cheaper and better quality.
Close to my business location
Location. Very near to U-Bahn station. Price. Friendly people. WC and bathroom on the hall. The room was really not clean! They hadn't even emptied the bin from the guest who had stayed there the night before. I was disgusted by that, and basically afraid to touch anything in the room! Also WC and bathroom weren't clean. Thin walls.
exceptionally clean, good breakfast, friendly owners/staff, fresh towels every day, close to public transportation noise from traffic and city train, no lift
Stuff speaks very poor English
hotel cleanliness Hotel is basically mom-and-pop run facility--not bad, but looks like a private house that was turned into a hotel; while not too many stops from the main train station, I would have preferred a more centralized location. Also, my room was on a busy traffic street so light sleepers beware.
Well priced and a good breakfast. Close to one of the u-bahn stops, so easy enough to get to if you know which one. Met warmly.
Very convenient to Sbahn and easy to get around from. Very clean and rooms comfortable. Just what I needed for a bed for the night.
No additional comments, O.K. for me I had all what I nedded, no comments
The only good thing about the place was the price. Apart from that, I cannot say anything good about Hotel Stern. Surly owner. Even surlier owner's wife. No sheets on my bed when I arrived. Difficulty convincing owner to get up and check out sheet situation. Instead of putting sheets on bed he moved me to a room that smelled of cigarette smoke. I got about 4 hours sleep because the curtains did not block out the light from the street or the early morning sun. Was told by owner's wife that I could not leave my bags at the hotel after I checked out as there would be nobody working on reception that evening. Very poor all round. I only paid euro 30, but if you are going to run a hotel, you should do it right.
Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The heater was not working most of the time and it was extremely cold at night.
kind personel, worm treatment cost
Staff toilet & dusche is out of the room, but it is reflected in the price,
