Nothing Terrible customer service, oversold hotel, we were left looking for a different hotel at midnight with our 3 kids!
When I called the front desk to request checking out at 1pm, she said $20 extra charge plus tax and repeated for a few times emotionless. Most time this hotel's rate per night is about $20.
Clean rooms, restaurant staff nice, nice arcade and bowling alley. Missing safe, missing refrigerator, missing blow dryer in the room. Claimed that Nevada state fire code does not allow rollaway in a room with 2 beds and there is no mention of this when booking. I can't find this mentioned anywhere in any code online, so it seems like a BS reason. The square footage was certainly big enough to accommodate it.
Large casino, lots of places to eat and things to do. Can literally stay there and not leave for anything. Lots of slot machines, tables. Wasn't very clean, room smelled like smoke even though non smoking room. There was hair in the shower and bathroom that was not ours. The room was just generally rundown.
Was offered an upgrade upon check-in and it did not disappoint. The room was clean, spacious, great views of the mountains and city, and comfortable bed. The temperature was set at a comfortable 67 degrees and the housekeeping staff was very courteous in understanding of our being in the room later and cleaned it promptly after. We are locals and GSR is consistently rated as one of the better casinos and staying there was no exception. There needs to be a bit more communication between front desk staff and housekeeping. When we extended our stay by a day (having work done on our house) apparently that message was not conveyed to housekeeping who was trying to kick my boyfriend out. It was resolved, but created some hassle for him.
Nothing Smoking and dirty rooms Every restaurant had a wait
Front Desk lady provided Smoking floor but didn't disclose it to us when we checked in. We found out from a guest in the elevator. My daughter and I couldn't sleep the entire night. We inhaled lots of 2nd hand smokes in our lungs. Complaints to Front Desk manager and she said there's no guarantee the guests will get non smoking room, even we have a child in our room. This is ridiculous!
Had an amazing dinner at the Cantina restaurant. I'd go back to the hotel just to go there for dinner. The food and the service there was fantastic and was the thing that kept my stay from being a total disappointment. I learned that hotel casino resorts aren't for me. I was put into one of their renovated rooms and it wasn't very clean. There was dirt on the floor and a couple of toenail clippings under the desk. The renovation was ugly. The bathroom with it's floor to ceiling brown marble and black vanity and very poor lighting was like being in a cave. Not all the lamps in my room worked. Why would a "resort" hotel renovate the rooms and put the same old lumpy bed back in there? The first night I was there the heat in my room didn't work. However, it was fixed rather quickly. If you're traveling with a family and looking for a place to stay where there is a lot of stuff in one location and you feel like letting your kids run around and act like animals while you sit in front of a slot machine getting drunk then I suppose this is the place to be. If you enjoy a hotel where there are drunk people smoking in the hallways at 8 a.m., kids running around and screaming in the public areas and having to wait in line for 45 minutes just to check out then this is the place for you. There are other hotels in the area that are cleaner and less expensive

Staff went above and beyond making sure needs were meant. Always grateful with great customer service. Trash cans in room could have a paper bag or plastic in order to properly dispose of any trash accumulated in room.
I reserved 2 beds in each of the 2 rooms I booked weeks in advance and booked through the hotel to make sure I got what I requested. I even asked for a higher floor and paid extra for it. They told me they were sold out and that's all they had left although there was a line of people before and after me getting rooms... That didn't make since. This was my 4 time staying there and was really disappointed in the experience
Lobby was nice. Garden area outside pretty. Staff helpful and friendly. Room was next to the elevator and walls seemed very thin. Room was clean but needs an update. Lots of pillows on the bed but all the pillows were the same, too tall. Pool was almost empty and very green. Looked gross!

Lots of comfy pillows. Beds were good. We didn't get a chance to use, but facilities looked really nice. Shower was small, water pressure weak, and temperature not stable.
The facility was very nice and we had no problems. Was close to the airport. I did not like having the charge go through on my credit card before I even left for my trip.
Next to airport You can hear anything and everything from people in rooms next to or above you. We had people being very loud for almost 3 hours in the night time that kept waking our 7 month old baby. Not fun.
Close to airport Burned out light bulbs in room that were not changed. Air conditioner very noisy.
Stayed here last minute for a baseball tournament. Our friends had stayed night before so we requested to be near them. We were two doors down. Kids hot tubbed after a game and several hours climbing. We bought dinner at a noodle house a couple blocks away. A very pleasant stay. No complimentary breakfast.
Front counter woman was awesome! Bed was very soft and not very comfortable, for 1 might it will do.
It was clean and quiet and upgrades are being done. A small store in the hotel would have been good to have.
Booked through Kayak and hotel would not honor check in time. We only needed hotel for layover so those 2 hours made all the difference. Hotel clerk was rude and unwilling to answer questions about paying extra for an early check in. When we attempted to cancel booking, were told that refund had to be issued 72 hours before. We were out $100+ because Westin won't honor printed check in time. Avoid.
Food in restaurant was good for hotel restaurant. people at front desk were very pleasant, very. Poor heater control, had to call front desk. Told the controls on wall does not work unless you go over to wall and hit the knee high switch on , wait 10 minutes and the heat may go on. may get too hot if you do not adjust. What year is this that I can not turn the heat on on a cool nite when I am very tired??? Needless to say stayed cold. Noisy fan also.
The hotel is very convenient to the Reno Airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The walls are extremely thin. Unfortunately my neighbor had a winter cold, and was up coughing all night which meant I was up listening all night. The walls are so thin that I could hear when they pushed the off switch on the night stand. Also, the heating is not central, and the window system was very loud when it would kick on every couple hours. Overall, not a good night sleep. I was in room 223. Perhaps other rooms or floors have better insulation.
Room and Accommodations Had to call a cab to the airport. The shuttle doesn't run at 4am for an early flight. Very disappointing.

Nice, clean, decently priced hotel located very conveniently at the entrance to the Reno Tahoe airport. We had a very early flight and not having to stress about traffic, etc. to get to the airport on time allowed us to get a very good night's sleep before our early a.m. wake up call. They also had a shuttle ready and willing to take us directly to the airport. Not a thing....
Maids did not make noise or attempt to enter the room until later in the morning. Location is fantastic. Place was clean and in good shape. Once in a while the planes would make some noise early in the AM.
