The beds were so comfortable, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us figure out where to go and how to get there, texted when our room was ready, and coffee as we waited for the ballet service to get our car. Great location too! No, it exceeded our expectations and we were very happy.

Outstanding hotel with excellent staff and tons of character. Rooms are super clean. Great location. Would love to stay here again!
Service and Staff. No

Beautiful hotel in a great location.
great bar view, we didn't have then best
Very friendly staff. We had a very quiet and gorgeous room. Cool bar. No.
All the staff were amazing. Unique ambiance and furnishings exude class and style. Library Bar is beautiful, always had a spot for me; wonderful service, drinks. Great location, easy to get anywhere. Very memorable!
Staff was attentive. Good location and hotel itself has a nice, trendy bar. N/A
My husband and I absolutely loved the Nomad Hotel. The staff, every single one of them were extremely helpful, pleasant and fun. I can't say enough about the service. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The library bar was very cool. I could hear water noise from the neighboring room's bathroom. That was a little disturbing in the early morning and late night.
The Edition has become my favorite hotel in NYC. It's modern and clean without being trendy. It's luxury without being pretentious. The service was first class. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. Even at $500-$600 a night it's a value. The restaurants and bars were fantastic. I think being across from Madison Park adds something unique. I highly recommend the Edition. Didn't love the elevator set up.
Room, Lobby Bar, Hotel Staff Complimentary coffee in lobby bar ends at 8am - too early!
Location is great - the art is amazing and the roof top terrace restaurant/ bar is top
Staff were very helpful and always on hand. The room quality was very high - the recent refurbishment has really focussed on top end materials and furnishings and for a hotel in central New York, the room was of a good size. Its central location in NYC is very helpful to get uptown or downtown and its situation gives an unusually peaceful night sleep in such a busy city. The roof garden was very nice, as were the bars, but some of the hotel claims are overdone. Cocktails are expensive by the time you add on service and tax.
Very Very cool. From a British viewpoint it is like Malmaison but taken to the next level and with the addition of 5 star service. The concierge are very good at getting you into those 'hard to book' restaurants. The private guests only rooftop bar is very nice.
unique, great location - very little street noise.
The service, room, restaurant, location were excellent.
Room set up Very poor service! I had water & juice poured over me during breakfast with no apologies! Tea was served without tea cup! Bathroom light was out for one day and not replaced. Laundry list was not provided despite repeated requests.
the room and the position and the "edginess" of the hotel our first room (before we changed) only had a shower and not also a bath
Valet took >45 minutes after being told 10-15 (I allowed 20). Had to request iron, wastes time. Tub drain was fully clogged and GROSS so water did not drain. Shower vent grate was FULL of GROSS dust + mold. Noise outside from traffic, garbage trucks + roof party letting out kept us awake ALL NIGHT, absurd! Sounded like windows on Lex.ave. were open, but they weren't, they're just inadequate!
location is fabulous, rooftop bar was very nice. the room was very small.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel design and atmosphere were great. The bed was very uncomfortable - really hard. I stay at alot of boutique / pricey hotels and this was the worst bed I've had.
The rooms were cute. Not to small. Stayed here for New Year's Eve. Wanted a bucket of ice for the room so my wife and I could keep a bottle of champagne cold. They actually charged us $5 for the bucket of ice. Not even Motel 6 charges for ice. Room was also very hot and a lot of noise from the street and hallway. Bed hard and uncomfortable.
I loved the terrace facility , made a big difference to me comfort. I will use this property again when visiting New York. First room I was allocated was way to small , requested a change and reception was very accommodating.
I liked the modern design and the crisp clean linens. Unable to control temperature of room. Also found a large roach crawling on the floor. The staff rectified the situation immediately.
Stunning hotel. Stayed here for 4th of July weekend. Location is amazing, room is amazing and staff was amazing. Will be back next time while I'm in NYC. Parking is a hassle and valet is 55$ a night.
Large room was clean and recent renovation Couple blocks from 34th st subway Tiny bath but was clean and modern
Very comfortable, great location, friendly and helpful staff. Those iHome alarm clocks are pretty unreliable. Nothing against The Roger, but I do like to play music in my room and they rarely seem to work.
Nice staff, comfortable mattress and linens, great shower, funky style and great location - walk to everything and close to subway Ultra small bathroom sink and counter, A/C didn't cool the room below 72 even with the thermostat turned down to 60. Bed also on a platform, and corner of the base jutted out far enough that I whacked my shins on it to the point of heavy bruises - totally my fault but just beware!!
Most everything. My only facilities detraction was the shower water temperature bounced around. The location is not in the middle of anything, but it is close to a lot.
Just entrance Very small space of room, very expensive if you think about cost vs. benefits. Even breakfast of us$ 24,50 and us$ 6,53 for a bottle of water???? The most expensive experience that I had when I am trevelling all around the world during last 20 years!!!!!!!
Location Staff was unable to inform us (when we checked-in) of movie being filmed on the hotel's street, and surrounding street. Numerous street closures. Was not informed by staff ahead of a additional $20 a night fee from the hotel.
Nestled into a quieter part of Manhattan (or at least not as hopping as Times Square) the Roger feels like a bit of an oasis. The hotel did a great job of converting its rooms so they don't feel like an old apartment with a fresh coat of paint and an over-sized photo of old Chelsea. The lobby is pleasant, there is a small, intimate cafe on the landing and the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. This was my first time and would stay again.
The staff was excellent; courteous, helpful, engaging and friendly. The room was spotless and comfortable with nice amenities. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.
Great service. Very clean. Rooms weren't spacious but very clean and modern. Extremely comfortable bed and bedding
I visited for a conference. That means I spent a minimum amount of time at the hotel and didn't take advantage of any of the on-site facilities -- straight out every morning, straight to my room every night. That being said, the experience was highly positive. The room was bright, clean, comfortable and well appointed. I liked the hotel's decor. And of course, the location was ideal. The staff were friendly and helpful. I should note that the room was a bit small, and as others have said it didn't have a chair. I was able to get my work done using the provided stool, but an office chair might have been better. I also found that parts of the hotel, especially the elevators, were too heavily perfumed for my taste. The room wasn't, which is good.
The Staff was excellent, responsive and kind. The rooms were fun and a nice size, small but well appointed. Great location.
Location, restaurant.....and unfortunately that's all Dilapidated room and bathroom, AC is so loud when turns on that wakes you up
The hotel was clearly recently redecorated to be hip and modern. I did not realize my single room would consist of a twin bed in a 6 by 10 room. It was half the room pictured. There was no closet, just some small drawers tucked behind the bed. They do an admiralable job with space efficiency but you should know going in how small the space is.
Nice hotel, great rooms, bar and got an excellent rate
location was good for the purpose of my trip. the lobby/restaurant was hip and bustling. the staff: apathetic, dismissive, rude, unapologetic rooms: way too small and awkward, no shades on bathroom windows, no amenities, no closet space overall experience: borderline abusive special note- extremely awkward situation happening on 8th floor where apparently a permanent tenant lives in one of the rooms and has several crazy notices taped to the outside of his/her door. also the fitness center is a joke.
The staff went out of their way to assist with all our needs and although we were not happy with our room they went out of their way to sort us out . The first room we were assigned to , room 945 had a bad odour which was intolerable. We were then changed to room 444 which is slightly smaller but has good odour , unfortunately the aircon was super noisy and disturbed us on the first night . we then worked out a way to improve this noise so much better. The shower head in room 444 needs attention as it leaks at the back of the pipe - this is evidence of poor maintenance.
Friendlyat staff and great location. Quiet amd clean rooms. The beds were not firm enough
A great hotel with it all, charm, location, hip vibe, great restaurant, attentive staff, and nice extras (comp coffee, helpful concierge, great lounge with food & bev options at good prices). Loved it! A larger, more expansive fitness room would be nice.
Staff was very polite and courteous. The housekeeper who cleaned my room was very thorough and kind. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! I didn't like the street noise at night. Honking of horns continuously but nothing the hotel can do about that in NYC I guess
Great location (not far from Penn Station / Empire State Building) new, clean bathroom room was very small noisy AC
The room with one twin bed. It was the perfect, cozy size for one person, and much more affordable than other types of rooms at this hotel.
We loved the Hotel design and the staff were very helpful. Our room for 3 people was a great size and at no time did we feel cramped. The room was extremely clean and the bathroom was a good size. And as for the view of the Empire State Building from our bedroom...just amazing. We had an unfortunate episode of the only night we decided to come back early and have a drink in our room the people staying in the adjoining room were smoking and this was smelt in our room and lingered for some time. We did call reception and having sent a maintenance man to deal with the problem initially, then sent the hotel security who although said the smoke could be smelt from the corridor and their room was unable to do much about it because there was no evidence of cigarettes in the room when he was eventually allowed in. We had a friend with us who smoked and she did the decent thing and went outside to smoke, shame they didnt do the same, and why didnt the smoke alarm go off in their room?????
The hotel itself was great and the rate was great for last minute none
Beds were some of the most comfortable of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Ate in both the Breslin and the John Dory Oyster Bar and both were excellent with the Full English breakfast at The Breslin being the highlight. Every interaction with staff was genuine and pleasant. The shower in our large double room seemed to be an afterthought, small and comically cramped. Whatever you're imagining is too big, I'm serious when I say barely enough room to turn around.
I was extremely pleased with my stay at the Ace Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well-designed, comfortable, cool, and clean. The lobby was always full of people. The attached shops and restaurants were all excellent and the location was perfectly in the middle of everything. I would definitely recommend the hotel and certainly stay there again.
Good location , kind staff , great beds Rooms are pretty ugly . Bang for buck is zvery low , for the same price you can have a much nicer , classier hotel . Only stay here if you want the scene in the lobby
Location. The restaurant and bar in the lobby was excellent. Has a great bar too!
So much character it hurts. Very cool especially the lobby facilities. The day I was there ... No hot water.
I found it mostly cool. Especially the places at the lobby, which became a very hot meeting place, during lunch time and late hours . The oyster bar, the Stumptown caffe -very good quality- and the Breslin bistrot were mostly satisfactory. The prices were very high. I mean the minibar products, the telephone calls pricelist and the deposit of usd30 for a simple plug...! The most important : there has been a double debit entry on my credit card account for which I am going to send an email to the hotel . pls check.
The staff is great! The location is good. The theme it incredible The rooms are too close, doesn't has any closet it is a little bit uncomfortable for the money that I be already paid.
Great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds...overall a great hotel My room was 1 hour and 45mins late, I was offer 1 free cup of coffee. The lobby was full and could not find a place to sit. So I left and went another restaurant and stayed there till the room was ready. I should have been offered something else. I know sometimes things can happen but nothing was offer at all except for a free coffee, and I waited almost 2 hours.
The Ace is very much a design, look, overall-feel type of place. It is modern, swanky, functional, young, simple all at once. The lobby was a dimly-lit bar and the music was a little loud. You couldn't hear it any where else. There are two restaurants and a coffee shop accessible from the lobby. Down the stairs is a workout room. Our room was the smallest available, but it was the space we needed. The room had a lingering locker room smell, but I'm guessing that was from the previous guest. It improved the following day. The pillows were great, the mattress sagged a little in the center. There was a small rack by the bathroom for hanging things. I thought the room could really use additional hooks, but it would probably interrupt their painstakingly graphic look and clean design. Don't buy from the courtesy bar. Yikes. The prices are steep. Bit of musky smell to the room. Mattress sagged a little. Room could use hooks for clothing- more than what they provided.
All in all was great. Definitely a younger vibe and nice attention to detail throughout the hotel. Lobby has become a little overcrowded with millenials. Be nice if there were space for guests to have coffee/drink.
Staff was amazingly attentive. No ice on floor
The staff was amazing. Polite and personable, always willing to help and proactive in resolving any booking issues. Would definitely stay again. Also, there is an amazing shop right on the next corner that has an incredible selection of foods, from ice cream and pizza to a full salad bar, that stays open for your late night cravings. Conveniently close to the hotel. If I must search for something negative to say..... Maybe the room seemed a little cramped? Didn't affect us because we were out and about but had we stayed in I suppose we'd have to use the descriptor "cozy."
Old shower and bathroom
Convenient and close proximity to our corporate office.
friendly staff simple old NYC charm, architecture large, well appointed rooms for an older hotel easy access to meetings
I love this hotel. I love the staff and I love the rooms. This feels like a hotel in a small town. I always reserve here even if the price is more expensive. Keep up the good work chandler. Better gym room.
Very convenient location. Excellent service. Clean and cozy room.
The location is great. The bathrooms are nice. Internet worked well. However it lacks the charm I was expecting from a boutique hotel in New York. The rooms have an old feeling. The decoration in general is fairly old style. And when we tried to get room service for breakfast nobody picked up, we were told we will be called back and after 30 min we just gave up. Not worth the price, I would rather do a Hilton or Hyatt for same price with much better bed, service and vibe.
Friendly, helpful staff. Bad view out of room 733.
minibar was loaded with choices deceptive staff. gave me a different room with a smaller bed than the one I paid for. but after waiting on lobby for an hour after my check in time because the manager hadn't inspected the room, I was too tired and Aggravated to argue!
Excellent facilities, clean rooms, great location, right in the heart of Manhattan.
good location, helpful staff, good bar and restraunt attached, comfy beds, rooms abit small but to be expected,
quiet and lovely nothing - it was awesome!
Very clean and modern. The room sizes at the Park South Hotel are very small, especially considering the price paid and the distance from the Theatre District.
Great location, friendly staff and small but clean and well appointed rooms. Several restaurant options and bar open late also. Overall great value for Manhattan.
The friendly staff and the convenience to my conference at NYU. The room was small, dated and looked worn - there were stains on the carpet and significant evidence of wear and tear. I was on the first floor and it was very noisy at night.
the beds-v comfportable poor customer service at desk
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and quiet. Will definitely stay there again. The hotel held our luggage for us as we were early to check-in and they offered us breakfast before we went sight-seeing. They even held our luggage for use after we checked out which was extremely convenient. Very nice doormen too. Very happy with our stay!! Not much I didn't like. The beds were not exactly pillow top, but they were still okay to sleep on.
Free wifi internet, free printing service, good room service restaurant staff not helpful and a bit pricey
well kept, nice decor, friendly and attentive staff, great location and nice lounge. We also enjoyed the breakfasts - thank you for a great stay - we hope to visit again! the room seemed just a bit stuffy even with the fan on. blanket was very heavy - like a coat of armor. Everything else about the room, hotel and staff was exceptionally nice.
Everything, location, clean, nice, roof top, i loved to stay here
I liked the cleaniness and service. I was really pleased because I have stayed at other places and not been as happy. The location was great. no
Hotel was located in a good area, no noise from the city, breakfast was good, staff were nice and helpful rooms were a bit small for two people staying in a double room,
All the staff, from the doormen to the concierge were friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic, it was spacious and had a very modern, crisp decor. I felt like my wife and I had a nice little apartment in the city for one night. We're going back to New York in a week and we're staying there again. I honestly can't say anything too negative. I didn't particularly enjoy spending $350 plus, and it got a little noisy at times but I feel like that comes with the territory when you're in Manhattan. I will say that regardless of where you're staying, $18 for a movie is almost offensive. Why not just charge 2X what it would cost us at home? It would be a nice gesture.
Fruit flies at breakfast
Staff were very nice. Comfortable bed. Unexpected complimentry breakfast. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.
Good confort in the rooms, pleasant staff and a nice location in NYC Nothing to report
I can't compliment this place enough. My wife and I stayed there the night before our cruise, and once more after our cruise ended. Our second stay was even better than the first. Top notch, friendly staff and a beautiful room. Can't beat that.
Room, comfort Inexperienced bar staff
Breakfast up on the rooftop! Overall. Great!
The rooftop pool is worth the stay. Not sure about going there at night but during the day, it's so far my favorite spot in the city :) The room itself is fairly standard. The ~$350/night is mostly towards the location and the pool.
Perfect för a family. Breakfast in the morning and wine in the evening.
Very nice stay. Just a little too costly.
Beautiful room and service was great. Breakfast was excellent there was alot of noice outside my room on the 5th floor at 5am
All the options, wonderful breakfast and service
Staff are really helpful and attentive especially Gabrielle who ensured the Prosecco was topped up regularly! The breakfast and wine and cheese at 5 are a lovely touch and give the hotel a warm, friendly atmosphere. The suites are ideal for families. Location is also ideal for walking or getting subway. Can't rate this hotel highly enough! Nothing.
The continental breakfast & the wine & cheese evenings. The fact that the roof terrace was simply that, a roof terrace and not a bar where you could purchase drink or snacks, it seemed a waste of space.
Easy-going welcome. Free coffee/nibbles in lounge made good and relaxing meeting space.
Rooms were clean, staff was attentive, afternoon complimentary wine and cheese was a nice touch. There was nothing negative about our stay.
Having only one person at the desk (much of the time) meant that the level of service was not as high/prompt as it could have been--
Central location, you pay the price for the room, everything else is complementary, luxurious room, nice breakfast.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We tried to get an early check in, but it was not available.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Good location.
The location was excellent, walking distance to 5th. and Empire State, just great.
The room was comfortable but no view. The location was convenient. The counter staff were rather aloof and totally inflexible with regards to the check in check out times.
The art was was amazing, such a quirky hotel! location was very central, great value for money!
Very central - good place in Manhattan! The hotel is too expensive for the comfort you get there. the rooms look like a youth-hostel also the sanitary-equipment but the hotel wants a price like a midclass-hotel! not OK!!!
The hotel's location, design and price. That breakfast wasn't include in the price.
professional hotel staff; artistic interior design throughout the hotel; the location; the Birch cafe with great coffee and food and the common Library room. it would be great if hairdryers are available on demand for guests staying in dorms.
Nothing Stuff were not friendly
Good location for Maceys, Empire State Building and sightseeing tour buses.
full of character, felt like I was in NY and not just a boring, standard hotel room that could have been anywhere in the world. more hot water please, shower mid day only gave me warm water.
The name It was too noisy, especially on the 3rd floor...I Could hear very loud garbage trucks from about 3 am until 4:30 am----ugh!
The hotel has a very interesting interior design. It's confortable and welcoming. My only complaint would go to some amount of corridor noise, since the door and wall isolation is not that good.
I didn't get to stay there. When I got there the hotel said they had informed Kayak that the room had been canceled and Kayak should had notified me. You didn't and I had to find something else and pay $80 in cabs running around ny to find out I had no room and go to another hotel.
I won't stay here again. They claimed that I had no reservation after booking on Kayak and Getaroom when I arrived at 1:45 AM. They weren't helpful in finding me a room until I noted that there was nowhere to go at that time in the morning. Sux.
CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING!!! Check in/Check out was easy process, both reps were helpful, friendly and AWESOME. The hotel room was clean and warm - the view was New York. I had to laugh because I didn't see where the bathroom was upon walking, but it was tucked on the side. EVERYTHING was walking distance, I never had to chance to make it to the restaurant. The ONLY thing I didn't like was the mini-bathroom, the shower was fine, but the space for the toilet... I needed a little bit more room, but it was clean. The room had two beds and the bathroom door / 2nd bed had about 6 in of space between the two. I wouldn't want to share this room, but perfect for a solo traveler. YES I will come back to The Paul.
once we got into our NORMAL room, it was spacious and clean but still had a moldy stench, free access to a full gym 2 blocks away landing at 1AM and finding out our room had an issue so we had to squeeze into a bunk bed room (size of a train sleeper compartment), which was dirty (dirty sheets). They said we'd get "free" wine which never showed. When we got put into our new room, much better but it still had a very odd moldy stench. Lastly, this place tries to squeeze every dollar out of you. Luggage holding is free for up to 2 bags, then there's a fee for anything over 2 items.
Decor, toiletries scent, location, interior design in room as well as remainder of hotel. Complimentary breakfast and coffee a nice touch. Online checkin was simple and convenient. Happy for keurig in the room. The reason I rated facilities a 3 was because we had problems keeping the ac on in our room. At times, it got up to 80 degrees, we kept having to push on the fan button at 2 am because room was stuffy. Also, suggest changing to different fire alarm in room. It's like a strobe light in the dark. Also, could have used a vanity kit and lotion as part of the toiletries.
Great front patio! Great location! Rooms were smaller
Staff are fairly friendly and responsive. The location is pretty solid, blocks away from various rooftop bars, Ktown, the subway, and Times Square (if you're into that sort of thing). 1. An advertised $15/person airport shuttle service turned into a $24/person airport shuttle service. Do not let yourself be fooled or you will find yourself on the LIRR to Airtrain like I did. 2. The rooms are small. Especially if you are staying in a room with a single bed. 3. Our AC unit caused a random pool to form by the window which resulted in some wet clothes when we woke up the next morning.
The position is great. The Empire State Bldg is quite close, as well as Times Square and Union Square. You are in the heart of Manhattan! On top of that, the room was super-super-clean and very comfortable. The hotel had some problem with credit cards, however the staff was very willing to co-operate to solve.
Everything! It was one of the nicest (if not the nicest) hotels we have ever stayed in. I loved the layout of the room. It made it feel homey not just another hotel/motel room! Small breakfast room!
No mini fridge
Perfect location for where I needed to be. Quick check-in and check-out. Comfortable bed/linens/pillow. Nice windows, sunny. Way too noisy. Was on 2nd floor, heard traffic and music from the club next door all night. Had to sleep with headphones on to drown out the noise. No curtains or blackout shades on the windows. With two walls being filled with windows, the blinds did nothing to block out all the street lights and signage outside. I would stay again but only if on a much higher floor and on the back side of building. (or bring a sleep mask)
The room was a decent size and clean. It had everything as described. There was very little traffic noise, which was good as a number of people had complained about that when I read the reviews The breakfast room really needs to be larger as it was a bit crowded.
Locations was fantastic Free breakfast was difficult, the 4th floor was too cramped I could not even try the food
The Hotel was need everywhere we want to go. We could walk to so many places. No
Exactly what I needed. No frills, but clean and the room was a nice size.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Bathroom was well equipped and good sized for this price range hotel. Room was fairly quiet. Breakfast choices were very limited and unhealthy. Elevators were not very functional.
great location. loud neighbors.
Nothing. I didn't like it. Poor breakfast and the space used as wasn't right for it. The Hotel was very expensive and it isn't look like a three star Hotel.
First of all this is not a classy place as the pictures might suggest . Its a former short stay , literally , pretending to now be a boutique hotel complete with a glowing sign, a facade covered in tacky blue neon lights and a total dump off lobby. When I arrived I was shocked - nothing like photos . Perhaps for the best when I arrived it was somehow overbooked ... yes after a 14 hour flight I was told they didn't have a room for me . Front desk staff was vile and rude . Not apologetic and rude . Did nothing to help . Don't stay at this horrible place . First of all this is not a classy place as the pictures might suggest . Location and value for money
Good location. Housekeepnng threw away my contact lens solution, they opened the window when they cleaned so my room was freezing every night when I got back. Three days in a row my key didn't work and I had to go back downstairs to have it reprogramed. There was a super funky smell in the room. Thin walls, I could here doors slamming, people talking, etc. There was a thermostat and another heater. When I would turn the thermostat off, the other heater stayed on and I was boiling at night. Internet was really slow. Elevators were also super slow. Poor water pressure in the shower.
The staff was great
Everthing is good
Friendliness of staff Small rooms, not big enough discount rates for using garage
The location was convenient for out of towners and the rooms were clean and modern. The shower was excellent. I don't travel to spend excessive time in my hotel room- it's just a comfortable, clean place to sleep and located centrally. This place qualifies. That staff was lovely. There was nothing to complain about. Hotel room coffee is terrible but there's a Starbucks at the end of the block and local coffee houses just a bit further away.
Everything! The staff was nice, the location is great, it was right in the centre of it all. Though the view wasn't great (surrounded by other tall buildings), there's so many things to do outside your hotel room, so I'm not sure you should complain about that. The water pressure was a little weak. That's it.
the beds were very comfortable quiet The deadbolt on the door was broken couldn't get it fixed. Our room keys continually stopped working no information in room about area hallway was filthy had not been vacuumed in a long time they provided a continental breakfast but since we booked through third party website they would not let us eat breakfast.
It was very close to the art and other things we wanted to see.
Location was fantastic, very quiet, not a lot of rooms on each floor, and the bathrooms were surprisingly big. Actual room was a bit tight, but that's not a big deal, especially when you consider the location.
I was skeptical about such a good rate but Wyndham is a decent brand so I went for it. Super friendly staff, quick check-in and out. Room was the "cozy" size you'd expect in Manhattan which more than served the purpose. I'll definitely keep this on my list of places to check first next time I'm NY bound.
Location is excellent, pizza restaurant two doors even better! Nothing
Loved the bed and shower - memory foam mattress and a badass shower. Felt similar to a European hotel, smaller yet felt big enough. Great lighting, heating, and staff was great. Not much. Had a great stay!
The staff were excellent. Waiting a whole week to remove the obligatory room charge for incidentals not purchased. Stayed at the Liaison Capitol Hill in DC the following week and was not charged anything against my card at check in.
Location Construction at 3am Overpriced Didn't clean my room until 4pm one day
Much roomier than expected for a Manhattan hotel, very clean and comfortable. A hotel service fee was tacked on at end of stay. This was an annoyance and I had to request staff remove the fee. They tried to tell me it was in the agreement, but I showed them my online receipt. They removed the charge right away, but it felt like this was a purposeful attempt and I'd bet many people don't even argue the charge.
Convenience, two blocks from the Metro. You can walk to Times Square. Bathroom was a bit cramped. No bacon for breakfast:(
Easy subway and walking distance to stores. Nice room. Noisy street traffic on Broadway. No decent mirror in room, bathroom had a TV built in, so wasn't useful, full length was in a dark corner.
