clean spacious room, good breakfast, heating switched on when it got cold.
hard mattress, blankets need laundering, evening meal much too expensive. No internet or phone in room.

This was a beautiful old hotel and the owners were really lovely people. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and furnished in a traditional style. Continental breakfast was nice with lots of home made jams and marmalade. Weather was not good enough to use the pool but it looked very inviting. Due to the volcano we had to stay some extra nights and they ciould not have done enough for us and did our washing! The location is good with the town of Lousa only about a 5 min drive with restaurants, shops etc. This small B&B is well worth a visit and we would certainly stay there again if we were in the area.
Our lovely old bed creaked every time you turned over!

The openmindness since you feel like you are in your own home.The relaxation with the swimming pool and the pingpong table. Very serviceminded staff.The atmosphere is great, with the nice garden and the chikens around :)Breakfast was very nice too.
It was somehow complicated to get there.
