When we reacted and stood up, the flight attendant screamed at us and told us to sit down. Afterwards, the flight attendant asked us what was wrong and she had realized that the AC had leaked on us. All she did was put towels on our seat and walked away. For at least 10 minutes I had to raise a towel to catch the water from dripping onto our heads during lift off and landing."

But we got the tickets issued through web jet. With the recent travel ban we wanted to reschedule our tickets. And then the whole problem unravelled. We called kayak to reschedule. Kayak team said its not their responsibility and forwarded me to Web jet. We called emirates directly but they said since we booked tickets via Web jet they will be able to help. So we called Web jet and they charged a hefty 250-300$ extra to what Emirates would have charged for difference in pay. They said its basically the processing fee. We were disappointed as the reason for postponing was not in our hands, and the fact that kayak passed the buck to Web jet in dealing with the issue. If we had bought our tickets directly from Emirates the process would have been very smooth."

Meal on board (breakfast) was really terrible (and that taking into account that airline breakfast is always bad), really the worst I've ever had on a plane, even the Croissant was chewy and very dry. Emirates has become a massive sausage machine people-mover. It has loss its finesse and exceptional service."

ข้อเสีย: "To whom this may concern: I am writing to express my absolute dissatisfaction and poor experience with the customer service and lack of working amenities on flight #TK11 leaving Istanbul into New York City, JFK. It was sadly a horrible ending to my trip and left me with a very unfortunate impression of Turkish Airlines. Less than an hour into the flight I spoke with a flight attendant making him aware that the USB port was not working so I was unable to charge my phone the entire flight. In addition, the wifi was not working. This is a huge problem because I planned on working remotely that day and my job was under the same presumption. The attendant blamed my phone and did not take my word that I was unable to connect until I insisted further and another passenger in front of me turned to my rescue and agreed with me stating the wifi was spotty and only worked for a short period of time until ultimately shutting off. The attendant did not apologize but said he would check on the port and the wifi and would get back to me. I followed up several times and he fed me the same lines until I grew frustrated that I was being completely ignored all while losing a day's work. During the last 20 minutes of the flight I decided to finally walk to the back of the plane and follow up for the last time with someone else. I explained the situation to the other attendant who seemed as though this was the first time he was hearing about this issue and he spoke to his chief who gave me a customer feedback form to fill out. No one offered me a different window seat to fix the port problem or even Miles Plus points for the inconvenience even though I requested it. I have never felt more disrespected and dismissed on a flight before this experience. As a star alliance member (CX765361), I frequently fly for work and personal trips and out of loyalty and assurance that I would be able to fulfill my work duties remotely given the features this airline promotes. I chose Turkish Airlines because it was apart of this program. This experience did not uphold the company's reputation and by flying with Turkish Airlines I completely missed a full day's work, deadlines and was behind when I physically returned to work. For the inconvenience, stress, disrespect and empty promises, I am requesting that Turkish Airlines reimburse me the portion of that flight. Best, Rachael"

Very cordial flight crew. The little travel kits were an added bonus. Having sandals on a 13 hour flight was a blessing instead of putting on shoes every time you have to to to the WC."

Also since passengers were standing and the plane was driving on the runway, they were not stable and moving sideways and one of them hit a sitting passenger in the head by mistake. The on-flight entertainment system didn't work from FRA to IST The staff did not do a safety check (check if seat belts on all passengers, seats are in upright position) prior to the plane flying Overall I flew with them 4 times (2 way ticket, with connection flights) and all flights were late to depart and eventually arrive late."

ข้อดี: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them."

Then the actual staircase / boarding process took nearly 10 minutes... queueing in 41 degree heat. Muscat is a very new airport and many gates with airbridges were not being used. As the home airport of the national carrier I wouldn't expect tarmac boarding."

There were problems with boarding that delayed the flight by an hour. Also, the boarding at Muscat’s new airport wasn’t great with the lounge telling us to board while, at the gate, boarding hadn’t started. MIght not be much of a problem except the kids were sleeping on our shoulders and there were no seats at the gates."

ข้อเสีย: "In Oman airs home airport there was no service desk. When the flight was delayed the sent 1 agent do deal with a full glitch’s worth of guests. Even though the delay was over 6 hours they gave no compensation besides lounge access to a lounge that is not fully functional. The next morning (yes the delay was overnight and they didn’t provide a hotel room) they called us all to the gate only to tell us they still were waiting for the plane to be repaired (the night before they’d Told us the flight would be in time as they’d flown another plane in). Again there was only one Oman air agent and just normal airport staff to handle the full flight. People were yelling and there was a lot of anger but no official announcements were ever made and only rumors passed from those who actually had a chance to talk to the on me guy. Finally when i arrived in Bangkok it seemed like they had there act together as there were many agents on the gangway to assist people to find connecting flights. Being so late there was only on flight for me and several others trying to get to Phuket. An agent took us to immigration and told us all he’d meet us in the other side to take us to the check in. HE DIDN’T SHOW UP. We couldn’t go back in the airport to find him or anyone from Oman air and were left to find an airport employee who graciously helped us find the booking office and just make the flight. I fly internationally regularly and this was by far the worst airline experience I’ve ever had or even heard about."

In order to satisfy passport immigration when I got to Dubai I took a phone camera picture of my exit flight info. When I got to passport immigration desk in Dubai the first thing I did was show my phone camera picture of exit flight info. She said "We don't need that, we just need your passport" and I am thinking "Scam". Oman Airline would like for you to purchase additional on the spot airline ticket from them if you don't have one. As an airline in the travel business I would think that Oman Airline would make it a point to know what the rules of travel are."
