ข้อดี: A modern aircraft - the Boeing Dreamliner with plenty of legroom in economy.

ข้อเสีย: From a perspective of the food, I have a very limited western diet and struggled with the food choices, but it was a night time flight so I would not have eaten much anyway so there was no great loss .

ข้อเสีย: Slow check-in not very comfortable seats and food was awful.

ข้อดี: The check-in staff at SGN domestic were efficient in getting us on to our connecting flight despite the late arrival from Sydney.

ข้อเสีย: Communication. Our plane had a malfunction at Sydney which caused a delay. After it was repaired, we are then told of further delays due to the pilot now running out of hours, delays in sourcing a new pilot, and then having to resupply all the catering. 26 hour delay.

ข้อเสีย: Flight departure time was wrong in Kayak and flight stood at Xi'an airport for 40 mins + arrived at the satellite terminal in HK which meant a bus. Long wait for bags too

ข้อดี: The entertainment was good. Food from SFO to Shanghai was better than Shanghai to Toronto.

ข้อเสีย: On our flight from Shanghai to Toronto (September 27th, 2016 @ 12pm - flight MU207) was total madness. A lot of the passengers were out of control. I've never seen anything like it. The amount of people walking around were unbelievable. People were playing cards, doing jumping jacks and tai chi around the emergency exit. None of the flight attendants tried to control the crowd nor informed them that they shouldn't be doing that by the emergency door. We had to inform the flight attendants of what was going on while they were hanging it or doing whatever they were doing in their own area. If that wasn't stressful enough, the passenger behind me started punching my seat and shaking my headrest multiple times because he wasn't happy that I had my chair reclined. EVERYONE HAD THEIR CHAIR RECLINED. We called the flight attendant and she apologized for what the man had done instead of putting him in his place and him apologizing for what he did because not long after she left he did the same thing! I've never experienced such a horrible flight and I've been on over 20+ flights just this year. China Eastern really needs to train their flight attendants better and teach them how to manage passengers when they are out of control. I've never written any reviews before but this was just such a terrible experience that I needed to leave this review.

ข้อเสีย: The reception in Shanghai did not at first permit me to connect on my flight to Rome. If I missed that I have a flight on Monday 11am to Geneva that I would miss. My shortened layover in Shanghai due to Manila delay was still 45 minutes but Inwas being asked to transfer and get another flight through the transfer desk. Luckily After a few minutes in line at the transfer desk, was allowed back on my original flight. However and unfortunately, it was due to another 2 hour delay. arrived Rome 815++ pm ISO 6pm.

ข้อดี: The aircraft was clean and boarding went smoothly. The flight was late but the staff seemed courteous, polite, and apologetic for the delay.

ข้อเสีย: I thought I had ordered a vegetarian meal when I booked the flight roughly 1.5 months prior to my trip. However, when the meal was being served, there was only a chicken or pork option and my vegetarian meal had either not been properly booked or had been forgotten. When I informed the staff, I was asked to show proof that I ordered a veggie meal. I could not pull up my email confirmation as we were flying and there was no internet access. I had to lug my bag out of the overhead and search for a print out confirmation. I had not come prepared with the "evidence" the stewardess wanted. While the staff tried to be polite, I also found them to be quite rude, demanding that I produce evidence. Could they not have simply given me an extra salad without all the fuss? I felt I was being treated as a criminal for requesting a veggie meal that had, unfortunately, not been recorded in their system.

ข้อเสีย: Korean Air refused to provide accommodation for my 19 hours layover even I had two flights with Korean Air. The reason provided was simple: "We don't have you on the list". The fact that it's 8 pm and had known nothing about South Korea meant nothing.

ข้อดี: - Great Service by inflight crew. - Very good Indian veg meal options i.e. Hindu Veg Meal and Asian Veg Meal. I would suggest the non veg folks to try these next time.

ข้อดี: New planes. Spotlessly clean. Hard working helpful staff. Good boarding. Adequate legroom by modern standards. Food typical of economy these days. OK. But really good staff.

ข้อเสีย: Fried rice breakfast out of Rome. Mushy. But overall food out of Sydney, Rome and Shanghai, fine.

ข้อดี: My dietary preferences didn't get reported right and the flight attendant was very accomodating and made me a platter of a bunch of sides whereas other airlines in my experiences just say tough luck.

ข้อเสีย: Arrived 2 hours before flight time (1315) but massive queue at bag drop and security. When got to security it was already 1230 and gate is closing in 25 minutes, I talked to people for a quicker access but to no avail. When I got through security, it was 1305 and the gate was closed. About another 12 passengers on the same flight could not board the same flight. When I talked to someone At the end another is arranged at 1625, only delayed until 1900 for boarding, and took off at 2000.
