ข้อดี: Impossible to enjoy a flight you didn't choose and were forced to fly on due to a schedule change, especially when the flights you'd booked had much better timing for a fixed teacher's holiday schedule. Avoid Oman Air unless you are sadistic and enjoy forced flight changes and no compensation. As I was forced to change to a flight to one arriving at 03.10 with my work starting at 06.00, I tried (and failed due to a lack of space and fidgety neighbour) to sleep all the flight to be fresh and professional for my work. The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep.

ข้อเสีย: I am a teacher. I can't choose my holiday times. I get three fixed weeks in summer. In both 2017 + 2018 Oman Air changed their schedule forcing me to change my flights. I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly.

You may see me on youtube.com as manjitironman. In a but shell I am very happy and travelling again on 17 June from London to Delhi via Kuwait.....hoping to have the same service.

But refuse to display No display of gate until boarding was midway Row wise boarding not followed Head purser on board was loud , brash , rude and curt to all Non apologetic to a delay of nearly 2.5 hours Cramped seats

ข้อเสีย: A 320 necessarily lowers the quality compared with dreamliner eg access to toilets and aisle width and entertainment system at manila the`woman at checkout spoke very poor english so had to repeat several times... and she expressed doubt about any seat vacant as`i was late in the queue.. she resolved this by passing me to her supervisor no other problems

ข้อเสีย: Worst was slow moving line at Melbourne. Not enough check ins. Missed the tail and fuselage cameras on 780 and 750. Seat covers look cheap and worn. Coffee and orange flavour not best. Screens not best eg Cathay and Qatar. Women cabin crew good to dress islamic but too restrictive. No t easy th o hear captain messages. Seat design only average. Bandar airport ver y beautiful but need better restaurant.

ข้อดี: I do not think the check in staff could have been any more useless, they wanted us to collect our luggage at every transfer, the plane was cramped, obviously made for people a lot shorter than my 6 ft, majority of the food was not edible for western people. I will not be using them again.

ข้อเสีย: The crews were not helpful. I ordered 3 kids'meal for my children but turned up we had only 2. The crew asked me to wait in the first place but later no kid's meal came and they didn't even give me any explanation. The choice of movies was also very limited.

ข้อดี: See my previous post about the beds being a little too narrow in business class, well no such complaint in first class. The suites are well appointed and comfortable. It is just such a shame that this was an overnight 6 hr flight and I had already eaten on the previous sector. So I did not sample the first class al a carte experience, but due to time zone changes couldn't sleep either. I also got to see but not experience the shower cubicles which look very comfortable. The crew gave their normal professional but friendly service.

ข้อดี: Priority Boarding for business class. The cabin crew were attentive, cheerful, caring. It's a short regional flight so the older, regional configuration of the seats is appropriate if not a little shabby. Offer of juices, Arabic coffee and dates before take off is very welcoming as is a choice of hot or cold towels. Flight was on time for take-off and landing.

ข้อดี: They have great direct service, and moderately priced. And fantastic flight times.

ข้อเสีย: The flight always leaves late from Dubai and from Colombo. Not to any fault of the airline, but screaming babies the entire flight on the way to Colombo was stressful.

ข้อดี: Food in business class was good although it was odd that breakfast was served at 3am while “lunch” was served prior to arrival once we all woke up.

ข้อเสีย: The flight was the “older” business class set up with lacks privacy... not normally too much of a problem but there seemed to be quite a few upgrades from economy so it was full of people chatting loudly. There were problems with boarding that delayed the flight by an hour. Also, the boarding at Muscat’s new airport wasn’t great with the lounge telling us to board while, at the gate, boarding hadn’t started. MIght not be much of a problem except the kids were sleeping on our shoulders and there were no seats at the gates.

ข้อเสีย: The connection time between these two flights that you sell as a package is not enough. It is a 30 Min journey to do in a 45 min transfer, and the gate closes 30 mins before departure. Then if you’re first plane is delayed even by ten minutes (as mine was) you are more unable to catch your flight
