When I went to the counter, despite being the one holding all the documents (and having organized the whole travel itinerary, the staff only spoke to my husband (Whi hadn’t a clue about the journey) in Japanese. They proceeded to check us in on their computer and insisted that we use their paperwork, not mine. What a farce. What a waste of paper and my time."

ข้อเสีย: "Our flight was delayed due to mechanical failure and didn't arrive from its destination: Taipei. We were not told about the possibility of our flight being cancelled as we arrived at check-in, we were allowed to check our bags first, issued boarding passes and *then* we were told to come back to check in counter in 3.5-4 hours. Our checked luggage had already been taken and with it, clean clothes, toiletries and other items that could have made the waiting more comfortable. After coffee and a snack we decided to check in to the capsule hotel at Narita. Minimum stay was one night at that hour of the day - for stays after 6pm. While I appreciated that Cathay got us out later that evening, the plane we flew was one of the oldest in the fleet: the seats did not recline at all so it was very uncomfortable. It was a late night flight but no one was offered pillows or blankets. (I did receive one upon request). We arrived in Hong Kong in the early hours of the next morning - 3 hours late - after the airport train had finished running so I paid for a taxi home which I normally would not need to do since I already had a train ticket. so my flight experience did cost me some extra money this trip."

What a way to ruin our London vacation by Cathay Pacific."

Otherwise, if I did not have an onward ticket, they stated they could not check me in, and would refund my ticket. The problem is there are many ways of travelling out of Thailand, and I frequently visit Cambodia and Thailand via bus. How could I produce a bus ticket which I usually buy only a week before departure?"
ข้อเสีย: "That was a bit of a rude shock, as I had never encountered such obstacles before, and most fortunately I did indeed have a reservation for a BKK-GVA ticket, or I would have been refused boarding. Apparently the Thai immigration authorities have a condition for Swiss citizens to possess an onward ticket before they can enter Thailand, but this is the first time an airline has applied this as strictly, and has been as insistent, as Cathay Pacific. I have been in & out of BKK hundreds of times, and this is the first time ever an airline has applied this rule to the letter. So, bottom line, never again will I fly Cathay Pacific."

After arriving at my Bangkok hotel I started to feel unwell and by the evening I was repeatedly vomiting."

Upon arriving at the gate, there was another long wait and then the gate number was changed. No one came to inform the waiting passengers of the new gate information. Very disorganized and confusing. The plane was very cramped and felt old. It still uses the two prong head phone adapter. Why anyone still uses these is a mystery to me."

They even followed thru so that staff in Seoul assisted us with our connection. We were very impressed. Korean Air's flight attendants have always been professional and courteous. The level of service is superior to most airlines we've used."

They did allow her access to a short cut through the terminals; however she had collapsed, broke her watch, cover to the cell phone, injured both legs and right arm. She kept yelling for help and no one arrived, she managed while in intense pain to get up make her flight. When she arrived in Bangkok she went immediately to the Emergency Room and received treatment. I am appalled at the indifference of the members of the boarding crew that didn't offer assistance to my wife."

ข้อดี: "I am a frequent flyer internationally and domestically in the USA, and flown multiple airlines but have never ever felt offended by a flight crew until my return flight to the US from Clark airport in the Philippines scheduled to depart on 1-13-2016 at 11:55pm. The cabin flight stewardess in her navy blue top and jeans asked me to sit down when she saw me standing at the front of the plane while the plane was cruising. There was no turbulence at that time, the seat belt sign was off and the captain did not announce a need to stay seated with the seat belt on. I explained that my back and left leg hurts so I needed to stretch, shake it off and stand. She insisted that I sit for my safety. I did not argue because I did not want to cause trouble. Then I asked her for the toilet which was behind her, hidden as she keeps the curtain pulled around the toilet and galley. She directed me to the tail of the plane when I am seated at #28B at first row at the front of the plane, 4-5 steps away from me. She kept still, standing in front of the toilet until I walked away to the back of the plane. Again, I did not complain nor argue. I thought to myself that maybe the front toilet if off limits to passengers. Then later when I returned to my seat, I watched all other passengers who appear of her same race and talked same language as hers, pull the curtain covering the toilet and galley, use the toilet and get drinks from her freely. I felt very offended that I was not allowed to use this toilet as every one else have and did not receive the same friendly service as those passengers. I wanted to keep to myself about this but I realized I was treated unequally. So I told her that I was offended that she directed me to the back of the plane to use the toilet while everyone else used the front of the plane toilet. I also told her I felt I was not treated equally and felt very hurt. She kept apologizing after I explained how I feel but her apology does not take away the fact that I was treated differently and unequally. I advised her that she should not treat her passengers as if we are ignorant of flying, of our rights and of flying etiquette. She kept apologizing every time she passes by me throughout the flight but this did not ease my feelings at all. This was the last blow to my dissatisfaction with this trip beginning with the 2-hour flight delay. With many other airlines flying to Clark airport in the Philippines, I choose not to fly Jin Air again. In fact, I already booked with another airline today for my next trip with my family in 6 months for a wedding. I will not recommend Jin Air to everyone I know."

At the transfer desk, the ground agent told me I would have to leave and reenter the restricted area despite having no checked luggage. Knowing it can't be right, I checked in on my phone and went through the normal transfer process in HKIA. It was a 0215 flight from the midfield concourse. The last automated passenger carrier left at 0100. After which, passengers would have to rely on sporadic bus services. The captain announced 'cabin crew, prepare for landing' 45 minutes before landing. That woke everyone up and it was not ideal. All the flights I have been on announced landing when the plane was at base leg."
