RUDE

ข้อเสีย: The lady at the counter was extreamly rude! I also never recieved a car due to over booking at this location and had to take a $500 taxis ride to get to my location. When I asked why I couldn't get my car she was even more rude when explaining it to me. I'm still not sure as to why it would let me book online if they were out of cars. It was a horrible experience

Bad experience
ข้อดี: The car was in good shape and ran well.
ข้อเสีย: The girl at the counter was not friendly and didn't take the time to explain things. When we brought the car back, it was in good shape, we filled up the tank, threw out all of our trash, etc. An hour later we get a call from Alamo saying there is a scratch on the drivers side that we are responsible for. We went back to check it out, and the scratch was just a scuff mark that was easily removed with a wash. Next time we will take pictures of the car before and after delivery.

Bad experience

The agent was abrupt and offered no help even though I had a quote on my contract of 34 dollars, as well as Kayak.com to rerent. I actually had to drive to the airport to rerent.

Jacksonville NC to Myrtle Beach SC
ข้อดี: John was very accommodating and the airport was easy to move around. He even went out and got the car for us as my husband is handicapped and we were his last customer.
ข้อเสีย: The wait time at the airport desk to get the car that was already reserved. John needed help that day! He was very nice, but out-manned with the requests for cars at the time. Wish we could have had a van instead of an SUV. Cost was HIGH I thought compared to a van rental for the same number of days in Florida.

ข้อเสีย: The SUV was not washed. Dog hair all over the rear luggage area. The back of the front passenger seat was dirty with shoe prints from a child and the carpet on the driver side was dirty.

ข้อเสีย: Car windows were so dirty I had to stop and clean them before I could drive anywhere. Rental car fees are just outrageous.I prepaid the car on a credit card but you still get socked for a $200 depisit on top of the rental fee.

After hours!
ข้อดี: I got to Jacksonville,NC airport late, around 11pm on the 30th of July. There was a Hertz employee; African american female w/ glasses. She was the most pleasant, most helpful and understanding young lady I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. She stayed and waited for my delayed flight to arrive even though she had to be back to work on the 31st at 7am. She took the time to answer all my questions and even though she was tired she was extremely pleasant and helpful. I must admit it is because of this wonderful young lady when i will most certainly use HERTZ again.

Disappointed
ข้อดี: They provided an alternate car for us rather than no car at all.
ข้อเสีย: We reserved a minivan to accommodate our family of 5 and all of our beach gear *ie we needed ample seating and cargo space. Upon check-in I was told they didn't have a minivan for us but an suv (Nissan pathfinder) instead. She told us that reservations extended the rental agreement on the minivan for the prior renters. I let the agent know that the pathfinder wouldn't be sufficient bc with the third row up there would be limited cargo space. She shrugged her shoulders and said the pathfinder was the best she could do. When I asked for some of my money back since they weren't providing what I paid for, I was told that since I booked through priceline via kayak that she couldn't refund any money and let me know that's why I shouldn't book through a third party. The end result was my family in the pathfinder for a week long Beach vacation with the beach chairs resting on my 5 year old's lap. Awesome. Thanks Hertz for keeping the bar very low in customer service.

ข้อดี: John era muy complaciente y el aeropuerto era fácil de moverse. Incluso salió y nos trajo el coche, ya que mi marido es discapacitado y éramos su último cliente.
ข้อเสีย: El tiempo de espera en el mostrador del aeropuerto para conseguir el coche que ya estaba reservado. ¡Juan necesitaba ayuda ese día! Era muy amable, pero estaba fuera de servicio con las peticiones de coches en ese momento. Ojalá hubiéramos tenido una furgoneta en vez de un SUV. El costo era ALTO, pensé comparado con el alquiler de una furgoneta durante el mismo número de días en Florida.

El vehículo no estaba limpio
ข้อดี: El kilometraje del gas era muy bueno para un SUV grande
ข้อเสีย: El SUV no fue lavado. El pelo del perro por toda la zona trasera del equipaje. La parte trasera del asiento del pasajero delantero estaba sucia con huellas de zapatos de un niño y la alfombra del lado del conductor estaba sucia.

ข้อดี: El kilometraje del gas era genial. Prepague el precio del tanque de retorno estaba muy por debajo del precio actual en la zona. Sigue siendo el mejor precio para mi área sobre Enterprise.
ข้อเสีย: Las ventanas del coche estaban tan sucias que tuve que parar y limpiarlas antes de poder conducir a cualquier parte. Los honorarios del coche del alquiler son justos indignante.I prepagado el coche en una tarjeta de crédito pero usted todavía consigue soc para un depisit $200 encima de la tarifa del alquiler.

ข้อดี: John was very accommodating and the airport was easy to move around. He even went out and got the car for us as my husband is handicapped and we were his last customer.
ข้อเสีย: The wait time at the airport desk to get the car that was already reserved. John needed help that day! He was very nice, but out-manned with the requests for cars at the time. Wish we could have had a van instead of an SUV. Cost was HIGH I thought compared to a van rental for the same number of days in Florida.

Vehicle was not clean
ข้อดี: Gas mileage was very good for a large SUV
ข้อเสีย: The SUV was not washed. Dog hair all over the rear luggage area. The back of the front passenger seat was dirty with shoe prints from a child and the carpet on the driver side was dirty.

ข้อดี: Gas mileage was great. Prepay your return tank price was well below current price in the area. Still the best price for my area over Enterprise.
ข้อเสีย: Car windows were so dirty I had to stop and clean them before I could drive anywhere. Rental car fees are just outrageous.I prepaid the car on a credit card but you still get socked for a $200 depisit on top of the rental fee.

Disappointed
ข้อดี: They provided an alternate car for us rather than no car at all.
ข้อเสีย: We reserved a minivan to accommodate our family of 5 and all of our beach gear *ie we needed ample seating and cargo space. Upon check-in I was told they didn't have a minivan for us but an suv (Nissan pathfinder) instead. She told us that reservations extended the rental agreement on the minivan for the prior renters. I let the agent know that the pathfinder wouldn't be sufficient bc with the third row up there would be limited cargo space. She shrugged her shoulders and said the pathfinder was the best she could do.
