ข้อเสีย: The car was filthy when we picked it up. Worse, the shocks were gone, alignment bad, passenger door lock did not work. Car was delivered with no windshield washer fluid. Tires nearly bald. I have NEVER had such a poor experience with any car rental agency anywhere in the world.

Helpful staff at hertz
ข้อดี: The staff at the hertz counter in Mendoza were very helpful, friendly, and quick.
ข้อเสีย: Returning the car was slower than we are used to because you park the car, bring the keys inside, then a clearly walks back outside to check the car. Leave time for this on your return.

ข้อเสีย: El coche estaba sucio cuando lo recogimos. Peor aún, los choques se han ido, la alineación es mala, la cerradura de la puerta del pasajero no funcionó. El coche se entregó sin líquido lavaparabrisas. Neumáticos casi calvos. NUNCA he tenido una experiencia tan mala con ninguna agencia de alquiler de coches en ningún lugar del mundo.

ข้อดี: El personal del mostrador de hertz en Mendoza era muy servicial, amable y rápido.
ข้อเสีย: Devolver el coche era más lento de lo que estamos acostumbrados porque aparcas el coche, llevas las llaves dentro, luego un claramente camina hacia fuera para comprobar el coche. Deje tiempo para esto a su regreso.

ข้อเสีย: First two cars had bald tires. One we got had poor tires. We had a blowout and a flat. We had to buy a brand new tire. It was difficult to arrange repair. They were no help. This was our rental in Mendoza.

Surprise airport tax and quality of vehicles
ข้อเสีย: The car was lower quality than expected. There was no power steering and the tires were almost bald. When we returned the car we were surprised by a $31 airport tax that had not been described by kayak or by the rental company until we were trying to drop off the car. I had to force the rental comand any to print me out a receipt for the airport tax.

ข้อเสีย: I didn't like having to clean the car before turning it in. You get charged extra for turning in a car that is dirty. This includes exterior, interior, and motor.

ข้อดี: Gracious rental staff, despite working out of a cramped cubbyhole with near zero counter space. Car endured 200km of Mendozas scrappy gravel highway 40 without breakdown or flat. No hardsell on insurance.
ข้อเสีย: No power steering made parking and avoiding potholes in Bariloche rather challenging. Car was in need of service and maintenance. Brakes throbbed. Low front tire. Bad rear bearing. RH door lock only worked from inside. Rear child lock faulty. High mileage for a rental car - 42k. Wiper fluid ran out after second day. Car was pretty scratched up.

Impuesto sorpresa al aeropuerto y calidad de los vehículos
ข้อเสีย: El coche era de menor calidad de lo esperado. No había dirección asistida y los neumáticos estaban casi calvos. Cuando regresamos el coche nos sorprendió un impuesto de 31 dólares al aeropuerto que no había sido descrito por el kayak o por la compañía de alquiler hasta que estábamos tratando de dejar el coche. Tuve que obligar a la empresa de alquiler a que me imprimiera un recibo del impuesto del aeropuerto.

ข้อดี: El personal de alquiler era amable, a pesar de haber trabajado en una pequeña cabaña con casi espacio de mostrador cero. El coche soportó el 200km de la carretera de grava scrappy de Mendozas 40 sin avería ni piso. No hay venta dura de seguros.
ข้อเสีย: Ninguna dirección asistida hizo que el aparcamiento y evitar baches en Bariloche resultara más bien difícil. El coche necesitaba servicio y mantenimiento. Los frenos se traban. Neumático delantero bajo. Cojinete trasero defectuoso. La cerradura de la puerta derecha sólo funcionaba desde el interior. Bloqueo infantil trasero defectuoso. Kilometraje alto para un coche de alquiler - 42k. Después del segundo día se acabó el líquido limpiador. El coche estaba muy rasguñado.

ข้อเสีย: They gave my rental car reservation away because my flight was 4 hours late. They then tried to up-sell me another car (higher class). Not at all happy with this entire experience. I will never book through either of these parties in the future.
