ข้อเสีย: We arrived to find a line with one employee issuing cars. The problem was they didn’t have the cars that had been reserved. One lady had been waiting for 45 minutes. She attempted to get assistance from others who were not visible but she wasn’t sure they were even there since they were not responding. I heard her ask if Enterprise had any cars available and then two other employees materialized. We were given a nicer vehicle than reserved at no additional price so that was good, but when you reserve a vehicle 8 weeks in advance, you shouldn’t be kept waiting while folks are scavenging for cars.

It seemed like this took a lot longer to move through the line and get out of the airport than it usually does at other rental places. Plus, there was no seating available, so you had to stand the entire time you waited.

ข้อดี: Nothing because when we got to the rental counter they had no cars available. Our reservation was not honored so we were stranded at the airport without any options. No previous notification was provided of vehicle unavailability and no alternative was offered to assist us.
ข้อเสีย: You should not allow your system to make a reservation in advance if no cars are available. If you are going to oversell your inventory, You should have an alternate solution for the renter in place, such as an alternate vehicle with a partner rental Company or at a minimum offer an Uber ride to get us to the hotel at night.

ข้อเสีย: I had a leak in the tire, and the branch in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. fixed it quickly. They were very busy, and treated me like I was their only customer. Heather and the staff in Little Rock were there to make sure my vacation was one to remember. Thanks!

Overall, good, but a suggestion
ข้อดี: I arrived during normal business hours (Little Rock airport), everything went smoothly, the counter-person handed me the cars and indicated which parking slot number to find the car. All good there.
ข้อเสีย: When I got to the car, I noticed some scratches (showing white through the gray paint) on the liftgate, and a two-foot scratch on the passenger door. I didn't care the scratches were there, but I was concerned I might be held liable. There was no walk around by any attendant, and thought, "if they're not concerned, neither am I." When drop-off time came, the attendant circled the car and asked about the scratches. I explained they were already there, but there was no walk-around. She explained that they don't do walk-arounds, and that next time, I should get an attendant first. Hey, Budget! Why do you put the burden on the customer to decide whether or not they should spend time tracking down an attendant?!? Here's how I will solve it. I won't bother renting from Budget again.

ข้อดี: The car itself was in good shape. The staff at the receiving destination were helpful and friendly (the staff at the little little Rock location were rude and unhelpful).
ข้อเสีย: The staff at the little Rock Clinton airport were very rude to me and delayed my departure by 35 minutes, over the fact that my credit card says "Jay Joiner" instead of "James Joiner". I showed multiple identifications showing my name as Jay, and the manager still was dismissive and unapologetic.

ข้อเสีย: My car wasn’t ready. Very poor customer service. Waited 45+ minutes on a car with a huge crack in the windshield and needed an Oil change. I will never use thrifty again.

ข้อเสีย: They did not have the car class that was reserved, then insulted my intelligence by trying to give a compact SUV as a substitute for a full size. I paid in advance.

the car I've reserved wasn't the one they gave me

Pretty darn good. Wish the PPG for refueling wasn
ข้อดี: Clean, well-kept, performed perfectly. You might consider letting people know how to access the trunk of vehicles if (for instance) the keyfob doesn't actually open the trunk and (for instance) the interior trunk button doesn't do so either (as was the case with the vehicle I rented) since they'll probably make use of it at some time.
ข้อเสีย: The refuel price per gallon is rather ridiculous. Sometimes people just run out of time and can't refuel the car. A base cost to refuel + much lower price-per-gallon would be much better overall. (This, alone, would be the only reason I'd look at a different company to rent from in the future.)

ข้อเสีย: we are now getting huge bills for tolls - tolls that you cannot stop and by....... each toll comes with a $15 administrative fee. We were never told anything about these high fees........ should be illegal for car companies to charge these fees

Malibu rental
ข้อดี: The car provided great gas mileage and enough power to maneuver as nessary in today's traffic. Value was worth renting there. Saved $$ by doing so.
ข้อเสีย: The car hadn't seemed to have been cleaned prior to re-renting. The rental service counter was extremely slow. There were 3 people in line at Dollar, and about 30 at another and the other agency finished with all the people in their line before Dollar finished with 3. Other than that, the rental process went fine.

They closed early without telling anyone
ข้อดี: Myself and a few other passengers on the flight had called Dollar to let them know that our flight would land at 11pm (which was their closing time). We were all assured that they would stay open until 11:30pm. Got to the counter at 11:05pm and they had closed down and locked up. We were all stranded even though we all had reservations. Thank God Hertz was there and got us all rentals. I’ll never use Dollar again. One gentleman who as getting a rental at Hertz explained that he’s had Dollar so this several times and he won’t even attempt to rent from them again. I now have the same stance.

Overcharged
ข้อดี: We were charged a fee for dropping the car in Bentonville even though we booked it that way. We were also charged $10 a gallon for gas which is way more than usual.
