I had 12 kg of excess baggage so was charged $400 cdn for a flight that cost $350 cdn for my seat and 20 kg . The reservation agent refused to give me my ticket back until h the excess baggage charge was paid. I boarded the 1/2 empty plane along with many, many chinese passengers carrying 2 or 3 bags, but as a foreigner, the company rules were enforced on me only.
We had to pay bag fees that cost more than our flights! Was also an international flight where bags are free on all other airlines. Finally, there was no leg room so the guy in seat behind me had his knees digging into my back the entire flight.
My laguages did not arrived and delay on both doigt. I missed my connexion to Mumbay from Nairobi on 3rd. Therefore, I missed my unchageablble flight to my final destination. I had to buy last minute ticket for Bangkok-Koh Samui which was very pricy!
Any compensation so I'm feeling very unhappy!
Didn't realize AAsia was a budget carrier until I experienced and asked questions. Terribly long lines and no organization at the CNX check in. Requested a wheelchair for my father but never recieved one and no explanation. We are Thai so language was definitely not a barrier. NEVER AGAIN!!
