I wish it truly were Finnair instead of American: The seat, the legroom, the fact that you have to pay 20% more to have the same rotten seat 12 rows further up front, the food that's barely fit for human consumption, the presence of 20 year old cathode screens that can't be watched but do prevent the cabin being dark, etc.

Why do flights always serve chocolate biscuits, chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake? Strawberries,carrots and humous, grapes, olives, would make a nice alternative for example.
Hot food boring, tasteless
The plane was uncomfortable, the seats looked unsafe, the flight was overcrowded with many crying babies, the food was terrible. Turbulence caused the flight to take an hour longer, which was even more excruciating.
The KLM staff that were assigned to this flight were incompetent. After telling them I was flying with Etihad and I had a 30kg limit the told me to unpack my bag to reduce them to 23kg. I did this 3 times, and then at final weighing they figured out I was right and that I could board with 30kg. Morons!
The legroom was the worst I've seen in a long time. I'm 6' tall and my knees hit the seat in front of me. Seats would also not recline. Crew was not particularly friendly or welcoming. Food was pretty mediocre. Both my partner and I had to ask for replacement headphones as the initial sets given were not working. My partner was on crutches and, though told she could get priority boarding, this was not followed up on by the crew and she had to deal with the normal jostling.
Good legroom, flight not full so room to spread out
We were forced to sit in the aircraft for 2 hours before takeoff without explanation. This is now standard airline/airport strategy to get people out of the way and out of the boarding areas when they are running behind. Unacceptable and should be resisted.
for 4 hours flight the crew decided to give breakfast at the first hour instead of the last. everybody was asleep and in fact no body had breakfast. the boarding was late the aircraft was missing and cause additional delay... TERRIBLE
Nothing about this flight. Will avoid Air India in the future!
Dirty and tired looking aircraft; unruly and downright rude passengers; cabin crew were unable to take control of the chaotic boarding; God knows how will they control the situation in the event of an emergency. This was my first and probably last time with Air India. I have always travelled Jet Airways on domestic routes in India and they are far superior.
Flight was on time. Boarding was not managed well by Ahmedabad Airport.
Two toilets had faults. Faulty tap and toilet seat. Lacking choice in in-flight entertainment despite high quality system. Air India should offer free water at the seat every 2 hours instead it's a help yourself service which is less good. No wi-fi services.
I found the crowded squashed seating very uncomfortable, , the 380 from Dubai to UK was wonderful, the relaxed atmosphere was great, more leg room, and the staff were extremely pleasant, not sure I want to fly in a 777 again terribly claustrophobic .
I had a connection from Istanbul to Frankfurt with Lufthansa . I was disappointed that TK airlines did not allow me to check the luggage through to Frankfurt because the flight was on a different ticket . As an Elite Plus member , I expect better cooperation among the star alliance member airlines . I had to check out and back again , took almost two hours of waiting in lines . Good that on this occasion I had sufficient time and did not miss the LH flight .
Ethiopian Airlines need to get themselves better organised for how they line people up for boarding and make it clearer in the airport where people need to go and when; we headed to the gate waaaaay too early; very uncomfortable seating at gate 1 area.
Where are the movie screens for such a long flight???? 6 1/2 hours of a screaming baby makes for a very uncomfortable journey - also TURN OFF the lights sooner; when people are leaving at 1am; they aren't worried about seeing inside the cabin; they want to be sleeping!!!!
only two people checking people in but one was for business class and even though there were no business class passengers when I was checking in they just sat there and did nothing. So super long line to check in and only one active agent.
Flight was delayed over 2 hours. They don't announce anything on the speaker to keep you informed so we almost missed the flight altogether
The vouchers they gave us for our wait weren't offered until just before boarding so we spent cash and never used the vouchers.
Generally good experience at least as far as a very long flight with two children can go. Good food with plenty and quite healthy snacks for kids. Very friendly and attentive crew, comparably comfortable seats, clean and comfortable bathrooms (what not always has been my experience with other airlines)
Due to a misunderstanding at check-in we have been seated away from a baby bassinette (although booked) to sit together with my husband, nobody asked what my preference would be (sitting as a whole family or having a bassinette) and a 17-hour flight with a 9month old baby constantly on my lap was challenging.
Also a very disappointing selection of films and documentaries for adults. I ended watching a kids movie with my older daughter and it was the only thing I found appealing. Kids section very good though, my 5-year old was glued to the screen and all the options had my approval :)
Although the very well crafted advertisement for Qatar at beginning of watching each movie is partially beautiful, I personally find it a bit offensive as a woman the clear emphasis on "my son, this watch and all that is mine will be yours", my daughter, your highest moment will be to get married. My disturbance with what I experience as sexist, worsened each time I saw this. Luckily I learnt how to fast forward, but the sexism of this left me disturbed. so although in reality much of your service is excellent, this advertising of a sexist world view was too disturbing to ignore. I hope my comments are helpful to you in considering that many women in the world now expect their fathers to consider passing on a fair share of their resources to their daughters as well.
Overall I would highly recommend it. Excellent service, good food, good on board entertainment.
Flight attendants and crew in general very polite and very helpful.
Despite our delay in arriving at the airport (check in was done online in advance), the flight attendants accepted us for the trip. The whole process was extremely efficient, there was no delay in take off time and the suitcases arrived all on time to our destination. I really appreciated their help: we did have a medical emergency 3 hours prior to our arrival to the airport, hence the delay..
Everything went smoothly, I had no bad experience with this flight..
The fact that I got home in one piece I really like.
Planes are old, small tv screens in aisles, older seats and headrests. I had requested Gluten Free meals and on the way to Amsterdam they did okay (besides the snacks). On the way back they didn't even offer me the second meal GF, I had to ask another flight attendant who went looking for it and found one.. so it was there, they just hadn't bothered to look for it. I also never understand why you wouldn't start boarding with the last rows? Is that just me? The aisles are always so crowded when the last rows walk in and there's always a line.
