The KLM staff that were assigned to this flight were incompetent. After telling them I was flying with Etihad and I had a 30kg limit the told me to unpack my bag to reduce them to 23kg. I did this 3 times, and then at final weighing they figured out I was right and that I could board with 30kg. Morons!

Why do flights always serve chocolate biscuits, chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake? Strawberries,carrots and humous, grapes, olives, would make a nice alternative for example.
Hot food boring, tasteless
The plane was uncomfortable, the seats looked unsafe, the flight was overcrowded with many crying babies, the food was terrible. Turbulence caused the flight to take an hour longer, which was even more excruciating.
I wish it truly were Finnair instead of American: The seat, the legroom, the fact that you have to pay 20% more to have the same rotten seat 12 rows further up front, the food that's barely fit for human consumption, the presence of 20 year old cathode screens that can't be watched but do prevent the cabin being dark, etc.
for 4 hours flight the crew decided to give breakfast at the first hour instead of the last. everybody was asleep and in fact no body had breakfast. the boarding was late the aircraft was missing and cause additional delay... TERRIBLE
I found the crowded squashed seating very uncomfortable, , the 380 from Dubai to UK was wonderful, the relaxed atmosphere was great, more leg room, and the staff were extremely pleasant, not sure I want to fly in a 777 again terribly claustrophobic .
This is a rating for our entire experience which was awful. In our area you were unable to check in online or use a kiosk. That meant every person on the flight had to check in at the airport. There were no lines, no directions, just a mob at the desk. Once onboard the intercom went out during taxi. We had to turn around. No information was given as we sat on the taxiway. We finally took off late and again no information was given about connections. When we asked we were told "don't worry the Belgrade airport is small". luckily the flight from Belgrade to Athens was also late so we made the connection. Departing Athens was difficult as well. Online Air Serbia was showing our flight was cancelled due to a possible air traffic controller stike which did not happen. We called Air Serbia and were informed the flight was not cancelled. "Just show up at the airport" we were told. We showed up more than 2 hours early and waited in line to be told we were not in their system along with 2 other couples by a very curt airport employee. We waited an hour, despite all of us having proof of paid tickets. Again, no information was given. They finally confirmed the first leg, Athens to Belgrade but not the 2nd, Belgrade to Stuttgart. We waited again and finally were given boarding passes. We were not apologized to, offered an up grade or really afforded any customer service. One of the other couples discovered on their own, that due to the possible strike, Air Sebia had indeed cancelled everyone's bookings and "forgot" to re-enter some. Leaving Athens we were also late on take off. Again not given any information and barely made our connection to Stuttgart. At this time given our experience we could not recommend Air Serbia.
We waited in line and on the aircraft after boarding for an hour because we were waiting for flight documentation or something??? This should not happen, everyone knew when the flight was leaving and the airline should have all of this taken care of ahead of time.
Not sure whether it was because my flight was short haul, but the plane didn't have in-seat entertainment system (i.e. TV screen for movie watching). The first half of my journey was delayed by 1.5 hours, which meant that I had to rush from the gate I landed in (after the lengthy airport bus ride from the plane to the gate) to my departure gate for my connecting flight, which was already on final call. I found out after my journey that TK is apparently notorious for its flight delays.
When I buy a ticket through etihad website, I expect etihad service, even if it was operated by other airline. Air Serbia managed to loose my luggage on a direct flight between AD and Belgrade, and the plane was very old, without entertainment.
