the location was great, close to all shopping, big bathroom, and one of the best breakfasts! Everything was good
great location rooms very small in new wing
We had a lovely stay at Hotel de Capuleti and would recommend it to anyone. The location is just around the corner from the arena yet far enough from all the main touristy stuff that you get the feeling you're experiencing the real Verona. Our first concierge was very friendly and helpful, even recommended a fabulous restuarant (suggest booking in advance if you can) and gave us tips on where to go for evening entertainment (for young couples, the bar 'Porta Nuova' - just around the corner, on Porta Nuova - is the best inner city bar we found with decent music and a good hype. Sadly no dance floors). We upgraded to the superior double (room 516) which has a terrace and cool wooden detail incl. wood beamed ceilings. Definitely recommended. Super comfortable bed too. The church next door has a beautiful sounding choir on Sunday mornings :) We checked out right on 11am (one too many cocktails the night prior) but breakfast was until 10:30 only. The woman on front desk went out of her way and arranged for us to take fresh coffee and croissants in the lobby instead, which was a really nice touch. (note, there's a cute little cafe right next door that does a fab HOT cappuccino). What else? The water pressure was great! The toilet was a bit hard to flush, and room 516 is actually on the 1st floor so you can hear everything going on in the lobby - and they can probably hear everything going on in your room! Don't let this deter you though - we had a great stay and would stay again if we ever go back to Verona.
Staff assistance far above average room size, a bit small
the location is great just in the city, the room was big anc clean, just what you need.
Very clean and well located for the Arena. Room very small.
Clean, nice and confirtable.Good for the city visiting.
Good location, and good facilities generally. OK for one night Shower was small, would have prefered a bath. Was not given a non smoking room but the room was fresh. Breakfast room was very busy and crammed.
good locaion close to Juliet's grave. Easy walking distance to all of the sites. Parking wasn't easy.
Bathroom presents instalation errors at the : toylette cover, shower position
Location and service. Rooms need a face lift..... but service made up for it.
Beautiful hotel, excellent location, BUT lacks atmosphere due to it being so empty whilst there. I don't know the reason for this, but I wanted to eat in the great setting for a restaurant, but didn't see 1 person use it in the time we were there. The empty restaurant!
n/a No Air conditioning, extremely uncomfortable because of this.No food available on arrival in the afternoon.Would you like some toast sir!!! 5 Star hotel, definately not, needs new A/C UNIT fitting which works whether the weather outside is warm or not!!!!
The hotel has a super location and the staff were very helpful.
Impressive entrance and main lobby, one of a kind. Not appropriate breakfast room/feels really average to have breakfast there.... brakfast, small room
Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful and they all spoke English! The food was great in the hotel and it was situated close to all the sights and shopping. Our room was excellent with beautiful furnishings and they gave us complimentary champagne and fruit for our anniversary! Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
A 5 star hotel in the city center! Beautiful old palace!
The hotel staff were very polite. I have asked for a smoking room and I got a non-smoking room.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights with our two small children. The staff were very pleasant and provided anything required to make our stay comfortable. The food was good and the rooms exceptionally comfortable. we would recommend the hotel for a most enjoyable stay in beautiful Verona.
The setting and atmosphere. The wine is terribly expensive and there is no swimming pool.
Confortable room. Very attentive personnel. Good Breakfast buffet.
Great location close to rail station, clean rooms, good value, sky tv - would recommend for a reasonable priced place to stay and do a city visit from thinner walls meant you could hear through them a little too much
Excellent welcome and service at the reception desk. Good shower. breakfast good staff helpful.
near the train station Far from the turistic atractions
It is a competently ran airport hotel, only it is near the train station not the airport. The room is clean and tidy, and it is very wide. The bathroom is clean as well. The room all the needed amenities, like a mini-bar and a safe, and the hotel even has a pay-per-view TV. The hotel is a 5 minutes walk from the train station, and it they there is parking spaces for guests who are driving. Wi-Fi is not free and it's on the more expensive side. The hotel is near the station, but it is far away from the city center, so you would have to walk about 2 km or take a bus or taxi to get there.
The hotel was totally efficient and clean and functional The location is good in that it is close to the station, but it is also in a dull part of town and a bit remote from the main features of Verona. If you are on business then it may suit, but as tourists from Australia we would choose something closer to the river or main centre, although further from the station.
Unfortunately it was not me who stayed in your hotelI. I'm a manager of a travel agency but from the words of my tourists the stuff was very kind, the room was clean and comfortable. The main reason for choosing this hotel for their stay was it's location. It is very comfortable because of the train station not far from the hotel. They also liked the territory around the hotel and so on and so forth. Thank you very much for wonderful time that our tourists spent in your hotel! I'll recommend Novo Hotel Rossi to my friends and clients. I hope to come to your hotel too!
Perfect for train travellers.Friendly staff, good breakfast, calm area. Everything is aligned with expectations.
Good Breaskfast, friendly staff No-smoking rooms have a strong smell of cigarette. The shower is really bad. A bit far from city center, there aren`t restaurants around. Next time I will prefer stay near city center.
Excellent value for money
everything is new and the comfort is great for the price, clean, good facilities, including indoor parking for a very good price, bathroom very well equiped, service was promt and very professional
Place had bed bugs
We did not realise it was so far out of the city centre - approximatley 45 minutes walk
We choosed this hotel becouse of free parking, but we did not knew that during the weekeng the parking is free in the most places in the center of Verona.
Nice hotel, not a very good location, but near the highway. I suppose the hotel was build with this purpose: transit, one night stay. The coffee prepare dby the staff was good. The restaurant was closed for some works and the only facilities to have a dinner wereb quite far and not very clear explained by the staff The breakfast was according the specific Italian concept of the continental breakfast: poor.
breakfast was good, no airconditioning airconditioning didn't work
Value for money
The confort at the room, the good breakfast and the easy access by car.
The excellent value for money deal. And very friendly staff.
The hotel was very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent with a good choice. Absolutely spot on location.
Great Location - a little hard to find. Nice lobby and breakfast Room was very basic - but clean
Good location, price and staff. Excellent breakfast and wi-fi service. Decor a little dated and teutonic. Lacking atmosphere for a long term stay, but excellent business and city trip choice
Good service by helpful and accommodating staff and this compensates for simple room and the fact that internet has to be paid for (in my case it didn't work even I wanted to pay). Good breakfast. Internet should be free....and no good as I failed to connect
Location and breakfast
good location, very comfortable accommodation and very helpful staff N/A
I liked most things- it was very enjoyable. And the breakfast was excellent. More info in the room about things to do in Verona
Main attractions are within walking distance from the hotel yet still away from the hustle and bustle of the main center. The main train station, Verona Porta Nuova, is approximately a 15 minute walk from the hotel as well. Rooms are well insulated from outside noise. The elevators when in use make a roaring sound which can be bothersome if your room is near them. I requested a room change which the staff helpfully accomodated.
Had a very pleasant stay; very close to city center, piazza bra and arena Only thing we didn't like was not being able to have air conditioning; my wife and I both have a medical condition where our body temperature sometimes fluctuates. room was very, very hot when we first entered it. what helped to counter not having air conditioning when we needed it was being able to open the big window in the room. had a room towards the back of hotel, and noise level wasn't bad.
I enjoyed the friendly and understanding staff, who, despite my lack of knowledge of the Italian language, were able to help me in English. Breakfast was great too.
The staff at reception spoke english and were helpful. Our room accommodated 4 people reasonably well for a European hotel and was comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with a wide selection of drinks and food. The location was very close to the old town centre and thus tourist attractions were within walking distance. The hotel room had a great booklet that suggested suitable walking routes with historical information in several languages.
position was great could walk to everything. Breakfast was great.
The modern and renovated suites wrapped in ancient buildings. The umbrellas. Wi-fi access is still with user and psw.
Almost next-door to the Arena and within easy walking distance to the train station. Room in the new hotel building (separate from the Reception building) was comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would have appreciated a coffee/tea-maker in the room, but it's absence may be normal for 3-star hotels in Europe.
Very good location in centre of Verona near main sites
Proximity to Arena and main tourist areas
Central location. Great breakfast.
very good location:100 meters from the historical center and only 4 min by bus from the train station. the breakfast was continental, but rich and good quality.the room was not big but very nice and refurnished, the bathroom spacious and functional. Above all, the bed and the pillows were really nice and comfy. the price i paid at the time was ok, but i wouldn't pay the prices i see now.
As a solo traveller and a female I did not like being placed in a room separate from the main hotel
The guys Jimmy and William from general services at the hotel area great! Very poor service at the reception. Reservation was not made properly and I had to be transferred to another hotel for 1 night. They have this "apartments"away from the hotel building that is not practical. Shuttle to take breakfast is ridiculous. I was not informed at the reservation.
The location was perfect. The hotel can not offer much of a comfort though if you are in Verona for a few days it is a very good option.
I liked most the location, the helpful staff, and the quiet room.
classy accomodations and very friendly and helpful staff as well as excellent breakfasts
The personell was excellent, very important. Cleanliness good. Location for shopping excellent No
Great position close to all sites and shops of Verona. Very attentive friendly staff. Lovely bar and lounge areas Lack of natural light
location, bathroom and breakfast difficult parking
The reception and dining room staff were courteous and helpful. We only stayed for two nights but were made to feel very welcome.
Everyone was kind and helpful. I arrived early and they kept my luggage so that I could explore the city while my room was getting ready. They also offered for me to enjoy breakfast and a cafe even though I had not stayed there the night before. Lovely place and great location. It's on a main street, but the room was quiet. As a female solo traveler, I felt safe and content. Plus Verona is a beautiful city to explore. I also took a train for the day to Lago de Gardo 20 minutes away. Beautiful as well.
The rooms were exceptionally well decorated with all possible comforts. It was quiet an relaxing and extremely beautiful the atmosphere was captivating and classy, the staff proficient, efficient and unobtrusive. I didn't like the view. The room was surrounded by construction works and this really spoiled the beauty.
Beautiful hotel in the heart of old town Verona. Rooms were luxiourious; breakfast items varied and plentiful Not a single complaint
Verona is a fun place to walk around from this centrally located hotel. We had the large corner suite on floor 1 above the very cool bookshop. The decor could possibly do with a refresh. Initially our room was very hot and the heater controls seemed to be broken but we were able to open the large windows and soak in some of the surrounding bustle. The staff are efficient but not very warm. Free internet access is good, the breakfast is average. The hotel is obviously in an old building and the decor could do with a refresh but still keeping true to current old world charm
Perfect location good rooms
location, staff helped us find restaurants and could not do enough for us
Excellent location Very small room
we liked the location particularly, and the breakfast was also very good. our room was small but we had been told this on booking and as we were only there for a weekend it really didn't matter.
The Hotel's location is perfect for site seeing within the city on foot, shopping and is close to several great restaurants.
the comfortable room, bathroom cleanliness. on the first floor, you hear the street noise too much.
Hotel very close to Ampitheatre and restaurants. Secure parking. Difficult to find, even my top of the line GPS couldn't do it. Had to enlist the services of a local on his bicyle, everything else good.
The location of hotel is so convenienet for the city tour and shopping. Also the garage facility is important for this city center although you have to pay it. The room we stayed is larger than our expectation of a 3 star hotel: It is difficult to find the hotel if you drive to, altohugh it is so close the center. It is better to recommend parking at a park next to Arena, and finding hotel to get a description of route as we did at the end.
good breakfast, helpful staff, clean rooms, etc. please note my address is: ashton keynes not keyners
Breakfast since the staff or lack of did not keep on top of things for example filling things up and not clearing up the tables and not even any plates or dishes at one point to put food on.
room was ok. wi-fi was not for free, breakfast was poor.
My wife & I found the reception staff friendly & very willing to provide any information sought. Location from main train station not as convenient as indicated on your web site.
comfort and services location
Nice hotel room with comfortable furnitures and bathroom. It was a too long walk to the center of the city.
the hotel staff were very helpful. the romantic dinner on the first night was excellent.
Near fair. Free parking. Free wi-fi connection Breakfast not living up to my expectation
A tidy business hotel. Not very good as a holiday hotel since not at walking distance from the city. At least our room rate was quite expensive compared to the value.
Excellent breakfast! Dinner was very light and not quite cheap!
It is very closed to fair and railway station. That is the most advantage. The network is terrible. It is not free and expensive. But even not free, it is very very slow and always can't work.
Breakfast, staff, location to 1.5€ bus into Verona WiFi was unusable in the room on 2nd floor, worked from lobby. while the room was very clean and modern, the mattress was poor quality and too soft. Felt the springs
The hotel has a perfect location close to the city center without being in the loudy area You can hear the noise of the people on the neighbor rooms
large room, modern comfort, great TV, quiet and first rate breakfast. Outside the city wall, but that makes it easier to access. hotel can be a little hard to find, even though it's on a main street.
There were some very nice touches.....the welcome drink, the chocolates in the room, the slippers and the free internet. The breakfast buffet was very nice with a variety of fresh foods and breads. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We arrived in Verona by train and the hotel is located close to the train station, which made dragging our luggage around much less of a burden. The temperature control in the room did not seem to work very well, so we opened our window for fresh air. Our room looked over the main street (Corso Porto Nuovo) so there was a bit of street noise at night, but it was not too loud, and did not disturb us once we were asleep.
Location and Jacuzzi Breakfast staff were slow and in attentive - didn't seem to be able to cope with a busy restaurant
The room facilites, and the cleaniness no
The breakfast that was included was excellent. The shower was too small even with all the upgraded features it had.
Nice hotel. Good location. Close to the center and rail station. The price.
Staff was helpful, breakfast was good & location was good. limited internet access should be offered.
Rude reception, not user friendly or welcoming in any way.
Very clean room, good breakfast, not very far from railway station (10-15min by foot) was hot in the room, noisy a little if open window
cleanlines of our room services very poor, breakfast- buffet very basic, bad for commuting with the town center.
breadfast and good ventolation of room and easy to get to the center of Verona
Excellent breakfast and the shuttle for Opera. It's rather far away from the centre.
Nothing This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in the hotel staff were so rude and would not help at all. The internet costs 3 euro an hour but it doesnt work and they still charge you after you have told them that it is not working. It is a horrible hotel no where near the city of Verona which is such a beautiful little city.
Good location, close to the old town. Very comfortable and quiet No restaurant !
Very attentive, friendly staff. We were greeted with a smile and nothing seemed to be a problem. Room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and had a variety of food and drinks to suit most people, which helped create with the stamina needed for a busy sight seeing day. Prior to booking, we knew that the hotel was slightly outside the city wall. This didn't present a problem for us as we enjoyed the 10/15 minute walk into the centre, despite the busy main road. The shuttle bus laid on by the hotel during the opera season certainly helped overcome this in the evening. The small charge was perfectly reasonable. If we stayed there again, we would make more use of the bikes that were available to hire.
The staf hospitality was excellent none
Hotel staff was very kind and helpful.
Very clean accomodation. Sheets & towels changed daily. Matresses very old and uncomfortable
Very pleasant hotel in a cute and quiet environment.
Breakfast was very nice - the patio is beautiful and elegant. Parking is convenient Rooms are very basic, but fairly large. Location is a bit far from most attractions.
Breakfast room was nice and staff was attentive. Underground parking was a nice bonus. Location was outside of the core area of town, and not in the best neighborhood. Bus stopped not too far from the hotel, though, so not too bad.
Quiet, very good breakfast. Excellent wide single beds.
Quiet location, nice garden for breakfast time, good breakfast service at all.
very big beds and room, tasty breakfast
Parking excellent. Bed very comfortable. Staff very helpful as stated previously. Distance from Verona - but only as expected as website stated this. Shower could have been better. Breakfast adequate but very average.
There was car parking available. It was located in the right place. Ridiculously bad value for money. Surly reception staff. Inefficient breakfast staff. At breakfast, first in gets fed, but later on - tough.
Proximity to town centre garage was not very good and the man who moved the cars around was not very competent
Lots of power points and good strategic lighting. Trouble had been taken by the staff regarding our query about an elevator. Actually it was one of the most convenient rooms we have ever had.
We found the staff consistently helpful and pleasant. The location is great, and we were very happy with the Europa. No
Location within walking distance of main town Very noisy at night in the streets below
Excellent location; nice rooms; good breakfast
The location is strategic. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful especially the man who was on am duty on the 23.10.2010. ( His shift was over at about 8.30pm ). Sorry I didn't get his name. Nothing
We appreciated the hospitality, friendliness and help that this hotel's staff provided us during our stay.
It was in a great location in town. We had walking access to the sites we wanted to see.
Very convenient location, comfortable, very good buffet breakfast by Italian standards. The rooms backing on to the laneway can get a lot of traffic noise.
the staff was very kind, the hotel was great, the room I stayed in was also great. The location of the hotel is ideal if you want to take a few walks in the old city. It was a bit expensive, but ok.
Excellent location (a little difficult to find by car due to one way streets but on foot very close to everything), very large and nice room Despite prominent signs everywhere regarding smoking being prohibited in the hotel, when someone smoked a cigar in the corridor outside our room and the smoke penetrated our room, the hotel staff at the Reception Desk were rude, unsympathetic and uninterested. A room of much lower standard was offered but no discount forthcoming. The only other offer made was to upgrade to a suite at greater cost
very near the most interesting places
The location of this hotel is perfect for enjoying the historic center of Verona. The staff was very helpful.
location and helpful attentive staff
The cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The friendly and professional service during breakfast. And a professional front desk team.
The vicinity of the center, cleanliness of our room, price of the hotel and the possibility of using private parking of the hotel
I came to the hotel early but could check in anyway. Not very helpful when I wanted to know the times for the flightbuses from the trainstation.
location is great, staff is very friendly and helpful -
No restaurant in the hotel or near open after 22:00
the cleanliness of the hotel and the size of the bedrooms. parking was also free
The bread at breakfast was some of the worst I have ever had. Night reception staff Hotel decoration bad taste, presumptuous Hotel bar closing at 21.30 when there is nothing near the hotel
Good location, very nice hotel with comfortable room. Free of charge apple in the lobby :)
cosy a bit far from centre
The hotel had a private parking place, which was very good for us, as we didn't want to park our car in the open streets. Also, it was very clean and the rooms looked very nice in terms of design. By car it is easy to get to verona from the hotel, so the location of the hotel is ok. The hotel was very noisy, not only in the morning hours, but also at nights, we could hear loud and clear through the walls everything the other quests were saying in the room next door. After a 9-hour drive, that could be very unpleasant. The fact that it also didn't have a free WiFi was important, because it is a 4 Star Hotel, and not quite in the center of the town, and it could use something to attract clients. But the worst thing was that the directions given by Google Maps were off, and we spend 2 hours driving in the same neighbourhood trying to find the hotel. If you don't have a gps, it is very hard to find, not even the locals know were it is.
The pictures and the hotel name (Palace) did not reflect the hotel as it was not a palace lots of road no restaurant
The maintenance staff of the hotel is very polite, all the engineering equipment is modern and quite good. Very clean and nice rooms. A little bit trivial breakfast (I was having almost the same at 3* hotels).
Good parking possibility, convenient location for business, 20 min on foot to city center
Welcoming and very helpful staff! Beautiful facility from the lobby (with couches and grand piano) to tiled showers and spacious rooms. Room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Best breakfast we had on our entire European tour. Easy walking distance to all the sites in Verona. We wish we had more nights here!
convenient position to arena
Location and breakfast. Small and not great value.
the location, staff and the hotel itself all contributed to the experience. no
Excellent location, breakfast and comfort. International standard
Situated 200 m from Piazza Bra, very convenient.
The room was comfortable. The location was great. The front desk staff was superlative.
The location is great to access several touristic areas. Although the locatios is good, the street where the hotel is located is not good.
Good location in the heart of town. They nickle and dimed the guests.
There was a lovely selection for breakfast. The computer in the lobby for guests was a great convenient. The location of the hotel is close to main attractions. It was a hard to find at first.
Localization Difficult park car.
Excellent location, just a short stroll from Piazza Bra and the old town of Verona. Gorgeous decor, comfortable room. Modern, spotless bathroom. Small hotel with an intimate feel. Charming staff. Small bar with little atmosphere, though not really necessary as plenty of bars just outside.
Very clean, large room
I really like the location. It was very close to the center of Verona. And also I was impressed by the breakfast. Nothing.
cleanliness and location breakfast
The room was nice and cosy, brakfast until 11am is a plus, the structure is new and clean. The parking was a little uneasy to reach and expensive.
New hotel in the center of Verona with very quite and well equiped rooms and secured parking.
Nice and spacious rooms and quiet location near centrum Very small breakfast room
The location for the Verona Arena was excellent. The room was comfortable and nicely air conditioned. The shower room was modern and very spacious and proved to be an excellent arrangement. When booking a double room would have expected a proper double bed and not two singles placed together. This arrangement, however, was workable.
very clean modernised bathroom and bedroom
Staff very friendly and helpful.
The room was big and clean, breakfast was good Room smelt like a smoking room
Superb location. very clean, large room. Excellent breakfast with great variety. Helpful staff. if we had been staying longer I would have asked if we could have adjusted the air conditioning to go slightly lower but this is just for me and I do not class it as a complaint.
