Pool and view. - Check-in-time 30 min. - Only one elevator working --> long waiting times. - no fridge. - building-crew started at 7.00 a.m.
Clean and modern rooms, close to public transportation (Skytrain and buses). Lots of food in the area. Staff was excellent from front concierge to the maid service. Pool and gym were nice, public restrooms were well maintained in the fitness area and they provide extra towels. No safe or microwave in the room and no breakfast included. We would have liked at least one kids channel (Disney/Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network). The majority was news or movie channels which is difficult to censor for children.
The location i believe is great. Not in downtown, but in Vancouver center. Which was great for us. Just a 5 minute walk to the nearest sky train station. And if you dont want to walk, there's a bus station across the street that takes you to that station. The staff was welcoming and informative. Really helpful and kind. All deserve mentioning, but i dont know all the names. Just Ernand, he was the first face we saw at check in and he made us feel like home. His service to us was a great start to our honeymoon. Great Hotel.
close to airport charging for internet
Glad for the restaurant, although expanded hours on both ends would have been better in our situation. Able to access free internet in the room via our laptop. We used the Cat-5 cable connection, but it appears that wireless connection may also be available. We had a great deal of difficulty getting the key cards to work. The first ones did not, at all, even though they worked in the elevator. The second set worked after about ten tries. The next night we stayed (three days later) the key cards also required about ten swipes to trigger the lock. While it is a great advantage to make things more secure, it was perhaps a bit too "not working" for us. The desk in the room was very high and the chair provided was a bit too low for it. Other desks may not be as mismatched as the one in our room.
Close proximity to hospital. Fast room service. Many nearby options for coffee, good restaurants, etc. Very comfortable rooms. Have stayed twice recently to be near the hospital, and I hope to have more time on my next visit for exploring on foot. I will also try the train to/from the airport next time as I am reading from other reviewers that the Broadway station is very close to the hotel.
Courtesy of Personnel, comfort, cleanliness additional charge for parking, noise from hall
close to general hospital, close to subway station, comfotable bed, friendly staff disguisting from outside but nice from inside
Close to the SkyTrain. Comfortable beds and rooms. Close to the wedding at Queen Elizabeth Park we were in town for. Excellent staff and manager who listened to our disappointment that the indoor pool with sundeck was closed. Very polite. The pool and sundeck closed. Initially told by staff that it is noted on their website so I just looked. You must click on Amenities and then beautiful pictures of the pool display. Scroll half way down and there it is, in regular print - nothing to make it stand out. Says it is under renovation, but not closed! This should be on the main page of their site. Looked again at the booking.com site and there is no mention of the pool being closed, only that renovations are taking place at the back of the hotel. In fact, the second line of the hotel description is "The hotel features an indoor pool with sun deck...". This was the number one reason we chose this hotel over another hotel downtown. We left one day early.
Convenient for getting downtown by bus and skytrain.Tours available to see attractions. Reasonably priced.
The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the location is great for shopping and sightseeing. Love having the paper each morning and free bottled water each day. The only thing I did not like was the coffee maker it had a soapy flavor, a cleaning with vinegar would take care of the problem.
Location Staff Amentities surrounding the area
Close to all amenities
Views from the front rooms are nice. Noisy both from the street and the halls sometimes.
a good nights sleep ?
Location is perfect, plenty of coffee shops and resturants around not to mention the grocery stores. 5-7 minutes walk to the skytrain and you'll find yourself in downtown or adjacent cities in no time. Free wireless and daily newspaper and free drinking bottled water. I have been to many hotels and having lived in Vancouver for 3 years for my training. The park inn is perfect in every aspect. Enjoyed my stay there more than my stay in Hayat Regency Vancouver in which I stayed before moving in to park inn. Nothing
Great view of downtown and mountains. All was good.
View from the room. Attractive room. Staff helpful. Good room service breakfast. Room rather small. Location: we chose it, but we re out of towners. However, we managed to find bus routes we needed with helpf of some staff. Would be good, given your location, if all your staff were informed about bus routes.
The moment we walked in we were acknowledged and greeted with a warm smile. The staff was so polite and accommodating to our requests. The rooms were clean and the view was just breathtaking!!! The location was great, very walkable with several dining choices. I have stayed in other hotels in Vancover, however this is the place I will be returning to from now on. Honestly, I will be returning because of the friendly staff most of all. Not a single negative experience :) Happy customer here!
The beds were comfy
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel check in wasn't until 4pm but we came in on a morning ferry from Victoria which put us in downtown Vancouver around 12:30. They let us check in and said our room would be ready around 1:30. We were able to get lunch and come back. It was nice of them to accommodate us. There are a ton of things in short walking distance, and for a longer walk there's a path along the water front that ends at Granville Island Market. The room was really cute, and had a big sliding glass door out to the balcony that let in a lot of daylight. There was a blackout curtain that closes over it for night, which is extremely helpful. The aircon was cold and the bath water was hot, and that's all I really need in life so I enjoyed my stay. Parking is $15 per night and the parking lot is a little sketchy. There's a sign warning about a lot of theft. There are a lot of homeless people wandering around the area. The hotel is right in front of the Vancouver Hospital so there are a lot of ambulances leaving with wailing sirens.
