Location location location. It is at the departure floor of International terminal of Haneda airport. Clean and functional hotel I can see it would be loved by Japanese guests. I liked pyjamas they offered. The room had too many aminities for overnight stay. Not much luggage space in the room. It would be better to offer overnight luggage storage for the guest as the room is rather tights for two suitscases. It is disappointed that no Gym which would be useful to overcome Jet Lag arriving from different time zones. The decor is too stern and lack the warmth like the International Terminal. Too much straight lines.
Ok, it's close to Haneda airport. That part is good. The staff is excellent and very friendly. Provides free airport shuttle. JAL City has two hotels there. Their upscale and their West Wing. On Kayak, at least when I looked at the two, the West Wing was a little more expensive. I thought that meant it was the better of the two. Nope. The restaurant, the large lobby are in the regular hotel. I'm assuming the more luxurious rooms may be also. West Wing is made of pre-fab units that are put together to make a hotel. Everything is cheaply made. The bathroom has the feel of a bathroom on a cruise ship. The rooms are small. Even the elevators have plastic buttons. It's built cheap. Location is close to airport but not to anything else. To get into Tokyo you have to walk a distance to take a train to get to a Metro. It is not easy for any English speakers to figure the transportation out.
The front desk didn't seem to understand nor speak english well. I had missed the shuttle for the airport. I had asked them to tell me but they didn't. In the end I asked a fellow traveler who could speak english. I was hoping to eat japanese food like sushi at the restaurant but was a bit disappointed.
Very close to train station. Very clean. Staff was friendly as expected based on culture. Buffet lacked choices and if not accustom to small rooms, beware. Rooms are small compare to hotel state side.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Got there early but let us leave luggage there while we got lunch. Shuttle to airport was very convenient.
Free Shuttle to Haneda Airport Room sizes are larger than typical Tokyo hotels Prices are reasonable for a last-minute booking
It is a decent place to sleep/shower/charge devices. Mattresses were above average for Japanese hotels. Blackout curtains ensure you are not woken up by the sun's rising. Location was within easy walk to Keikyu line train station. All the toiletries you could ever need are automatically provided, as well as robes and slippers. Small room. Pillows were disappointing. A pay by the hour rate would have been nice-for the travelers only staying because they had an after midnight flight arrival and are just waiting for the trains to started running again.
The major reason for my stay at this hotel was the fact that is part of the airport which makes it very easy to get to your flight on time. Apart from this, I was very pleased with the customer service of all the staff.
Had an upgraded room with a view of the apron. Fantastic.
The staff was very helpful in giving directions to different restaurants and bus stops. Very friendly and respectful!
Breakfast and how clean and quiet it was I couldn't get any food in the middle of the night.
I did not like any thing about the hotel except that the staff were helpful It is a out dated hotel, which was extremely poor value for money in a run down area of the town. Although the description of the hotel said that breakfast was included one had to have breakfast standing. For the price of the hotel one would at least expect a proper restaurant/ breakfast room
Only 5 minutes to the next JR station. Nice surrounding, a lot of restaurants and supermarkets. Free laundery and friendly service. The aircondition was loud, also the fridge. Rooms are very small. The written instructions and informations are in japanese not in english.
The rooms, although small, fulfilled out needs. The staff were friendly, spoke a useable amount of English, and kept our rooms very tidy. The location is amazing! It is a 2 minute walk to a 7 Eleven which is a great place to get a cheap breakfast, tasty coffee, and withdraw cash. It is a 4 minute walk to Keikyu Kamata train line. This line is roughly a 10 minute trip to Haneda Airport, and 30 minutes to Shinagawa station on the Yamanote line. This makes getting to various wards in Tokyo take anywhere from 40 minutes to 1hr. This isn't bad at all, especially if you take the trains during off peak hours. A cab from Shinjuku Golden Gai to Keikyu Kamata train station at 3AM is about $80, which isn't bad if you are used to big city prices like NYC, SF, Boston. If you are looking for late night partying, you should stay in a hotel closer to central Tokyo. However, if clubbing isn't your thing and you want to travel by subway, this hotel is perfect. My girlfriend and I mostly went on day trips to various Tokyo wards from 10am - 11PM. 13 hours is plenty of time to spend out an about. We had a great time at this hotel and world recommend to anyone.
This hotel is 3 minutes walk from the Kamata Station which can get to from the airport using the local route bus (280 yen, 15~20 minutes) Couple 24hr restaurants near by. There is an airport shuttle that cost 1000 yen. Overall it is a great deal near Haneda since I just need to place to shower, fast wifi and a bed to sleep since I arrived after dinner time and have to catch a flight 7am next morning. The room is actually not small, in American standard, the bathroom is small but good enough room is outdated and no in room safe
Convenient to access Haneda Airport. Large choice for breakfast. Small room, but functional. No place to really open the suitcase. Work station rather small. But all in all, it was acceptable.
Location and ease of access! Very limited selection for breakfast. No cable TV.
Sleep Single room Not much spaceto move considering it's price range
