I have been thrre several times and owuld like a room on the 23-25 floor next time prefer 23 to 25 floors
I like the location and the services. The room bathroom was not in good condition and the bath tub drain was not working.
area near train is convenient, but not the most upscale
They have English speaking staff, the room wad excellent i upgraded to a suit Room for only 100rmb. It looks and feels like a luxury hotel. There internet connection sucks really sucks. Is like they have one connection to a million people. Frustrating slow.
restaurant boufett - massage center with exotic girls
Very good location and an international hotel. The rooms are exellent. I had a wonderful view to the river. Cleaning was made in a 5 star way and even the bellboys are so helpfull with good skills of english. Nothing bad to say about this hotel and the rate was just fine so I can only highly recommend this hotel.
opposite the railway station. True, but still difficult to walk with your luggage
Excellent staff service, big rooms
Yes, it was very very inconvenient to go to hotel from the train station upon our arrival. It was too far to walk with all our heavy luggauges and too near to take a taxi (was scolded by taxi driver!). Hotel should provide shuttle bus for guests' convenience.
Location and excellent value for money
Everything was very nice and pleasant, just as you expect from a 4 or 5 stars hotel. Internet connection was very disappointing, more frustrating was that they know about it and don't do nothing to satisfy that need
It's a beautiful hotel. Very spacious and relatively inexpensive. The late checkout time advertised on the website (3PM) was not recognized by the hotel's assistant manager. The manager told me that checkout is usually by 12 noon, and the latest I can check out was 2PM.
It's a wonderful hotel, extremely good value and brand new. The staff are very helpful and the facilities are pretty good too, the only shame is that the bars are empty all the time making them a lonely place to drink in, they could use a little more promotion in the community. The locality is fine despite other comments on here, loads of restaurants and shops. Minor niggle, my wife was forced to buy an alcoholic drink to sit in the bar with me and she doesn't drink.
I enjoyed my stay there. All the staff and the facilities were good. I felt this time that because I booked through www.booking.com I was not given the same quality of room as the last 5 times I stayed there using www.booking.com Felt a bit second class.
Excelllent hotel for business or leisure, midway between airport and city but very convenient, also immediately next to subway station, plentyful taxis and eateries close by.
the welcoming and staff room is old and lithing in room is bad
This is an excellent business hotel in Shen Zhen. It is close to the airport and also the centre of the city. I have stayed here since it was first opened and I have never had a bad experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel to stay at in Shenzhen. I didn't like having to check out as I felt right at home there.
Food was expensive: Coffee was $10/cup. Hot milk was $10/cup. Our room was not cleaned until 9pm at night. The elevators are slow and crowded.
the room was spacious with a nice view, very near from the them park and tourists attractions the staff were not fluent in English, it was a little bit difficult to communicate with them
Great quality/price ratio. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Nessuno
For any Business traveller I would recommend the Hotel. Good Services and a quiet well run establishment
I have stayed at this hotel the last five times that I have been in Shenzhen. The service and location are excellent. Good for meetings and entertaining.
Very close to the subway station . The subway is just in front of the hotel . No wireless internet in the room . Poor breakfast
Pretty responsive staff, good. Locations plenty of restaurants nearby. Close to subway station. The hotel use cheapest possible toiletry. The tooth paste actually taste bitter. I took a shower upon arrival and the plug in the bath tub is not working resulting a pool of water accumulate in the tub. They quickly fix it. But it is annoying. One more thing that is worth mentioning, if you reserved a non-smoking room, good luck getting one with cigeratte smell. I have to change the room twice cause as it happens their customers has no regards to the non-smoking requirement. They smoke whenever wherever they want.
The loaction The hotel is a little dated and run down for a 5 star business hotel
size of room and location food choice at coffee house and hardly any view from window
The hotel located in a good place. The breakfact meals didnot meet the expectation of a luxury 5 star hotel meal.
quite different and not just like every other hotel yes. would really like if some of your staff speak more english for easier communication cos their were some breakdown in communication especially when we wanted to order for food.
Location of this hotel is the best in ShenZhen.everything is arround, shopping, Sauna, Seefood street. everything 2-3 minutes by walk.I will sure visit this Hotel again. had two 0.3 cl cans of beer in hotel the loby, payed 220 RMB :( in 7Eleven shop 2X big 0.6 bottles same beer 21RMB :) so in hotel cost 20 times more!!!
Helpful Staff, Lovely and Clean with a Good Selection of food.
Friendly staff, size of room and view from room Inaccurate information on shuttle service for cross-border crossing to Hong Kong. Journey was long and expensive and uncomfortable. Definitely not recommended!
staff don´t speak english but I think that this hotel is one of the best in Shenzhen - be carfully that is china !
A very warm feeling Thank you none
very old hotel... Like oldsmobille... But with good breakfast
This hotel was wonderful, we had a great stay. The manager (Thomas) was very helpful and accomodating. We called earlier in the morning to extend our stay, and started getting phone calls about 11am asking us to check out. We informed them we called earlier, but the language barrier clearly prevented them from understanding our request. They just said "Yes, no problem" and obviously that was not the case. Either way, they were very pleasant about the misunderstanding, so be prepared to speak Chinese to them. Other than that, this hotel was amazing.
located in business area of Shenzhen, close to transport. Hotel in modern design, staffs are nice, room is clean. Overall is good for my business trip. A bit small compare to this price, buffer is expensive with very limited food.
Comfortable hotel about half an hour away from the airport. New and luxurous rooms. You may get this hotel at a discounted rate but the cost of drinks and food certainly compensates for that! Above average prices compared to other very good spots in China.
Clean and convenient Room a little small by Shenzhen standards.
location is good lobby design is good, however, in room the interior is not good as 5 star and cost so much. Internet is chargable -- it's not so convenient as a business hotel.
Around 8 minutes work to Metropolitan Rapid transit so quite convenient. A few food stores/restaurant at the side of the hotel. In house service for extra bath towels, shower gel, shampoo were quite prompt and excellent. Helpful staff. Hotel main Lobby cafe, must pay money to sit there. Unable to extend beyond 2 o'clock check out time despite staying there for 4 nights.
The cleanliness and room design
Not quite up to Shangri La standards, but very good.
The room was fantastic!!
The hotel is located near the exhibition center and very central with goog access to shopping centers and restaurants nearby. Room was big, very clean and comfortable.
The good quality of the rooms No lounge Bar for an evening drink
The location is probably what makes this hotel 'special'.. besides that, nothing too crazy Rooms are very small. Too expensive for just a very normal hotel.Very old hotel
The location is very good, the view is wonderfull and the service excelent.
Staff is very helpful and attentive. Room was pretty standard/better for business travel in terms of cleanliness. They could make some imrovements in upkeep but otherwise was maintained well and cleaned well daily. Pool and gym are very good. Breakfast is very good. Didn't use the spa, but I wish I did because it looked nice. Not sure why I was recommended this location, I think for proximaty to the border & ease of transportation. However, the other Shangri-La in town seemed closer to better dining, shopping, and bars.
Proximity to the convention center was nice Decent American food choices both in the hotel and right outside. Generally kind staff, even though few had a working level of english. I didn't expect everyone to speak amazing English, but I did expect that the check-in staff would know the words "Convention Center" considering they are a two blocks away and listed as a preferred hotel for one of the largest convention centers in the world. In fact most of the staff didn't know the words -- which is surprising to me. Our "non-smoking" room had a smell that I can't quite describe in words. Something like moldy bread with and cigarettes mixed with decaying animal. It was very unpleasant. The club staff was decent but operated on a 3.5 star level, not 5 star - like they Shangri-La chain should. They just did the minimum's with a bit of attitude and a feeling that your presence was not totally welcome.
Good size of room and large bed No bath
Lovely decor, luxurious rooms, and fantastic service. Beautiful appointments and open ornate spaces. Although my room rate was quite reasonable (possibly due to corporate negotiations, all of the on site restaurants are ridiculously expensive. Dinner can easily cost an much for one person as the nightly room rate, and it would be impossible for two to eat dinner for less than the nightly rate.
Excellent service, new rooms, great amenities, fast service, no complains whatsoever. Try the grand rooms they are truly amazing. A bit far from the metro station, even-though there is a new one opening 50 meters away in the forceable future. (no the hotels fault though).
the whole experience was very nice. I enjoide little things they do to make you feel good.
One of the best hotels I stayed in China.
Liked the pricing Service was not great, facilities kind of old and need to be renovated. Anyways, you get what you pay for. The pricing is pretty low for a JW Marriott brand. Perhaps this one was a franchise?
The modern furnishing and the attentive staff. The concierge service was extremely helpful and made sure that you get what you asked for ! I was attending a conference held at the Shenzhen Conference Center. The hotel was not anywhere walking distance to the Center-a statement that was included in the conference information. Anyway, the taxi was not too expensive.
