Weekend(Sunday) room rate is high. This will become an issue for my next hotel choice if the same conditon(higher rate on Sunday) will remain.

nice hotel, comfortable room, convenient location
no buffet breakfast included in rate, seperate charge of R$29.00, internet although free, only at a very very low 64k speed which is useless

The staff could communicate effectively in English, which was a tremendous help to non-Brazilian Portuguese speaking guests like me. The location is central to the city.
Housekeeping cannot be reached at certain hours (for example, between 7-9 pm in the evenings). The calls to this department will go unanswered. Some of the towels are not inspected for quality checks and they are stained from use. I encourage the hotel to conduct thorough checks and discard those whose stains cannot be removed from normal laundry washes.
