The pool and location
Make sure you book a larger room. The small rooms are really small and our first week there was unbearable. In the second week we were upgraded to a great room with lots of space, two sinks, vanity, good TV, for a very good experience. Staff is very helpful and friendly, pool and hot tub are good, too. Just don't book yourself into one of the small rooms, unless you can handle that for a night or two. Small room at first, but after 5 days were were upgraded.
The room was clean, although it looked old. The staff was not friendly and were not much help when questions were asked. It seemed like helping was an inconvenience. When we got to the hotel, we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come and help check us in and there was no one there when we wanted to check out - they need more staff to assist their guests.
Friendly service. Very clean. Fridge in room. Pool was nice. Good location. Comfy beds. No complaints.
Fairly clean Free breakfast included - cold sweet snacks, waffle maker, juice, coffee Tiny room with low ceilings Right by the road with all the traffic noise The walls and ceilings are paper-thin and the guests upstairs (teenagers) were roudy all night and didn't stop until 2am even though they were given 2 warnings by the management. I had to get up early the next day and couldn't sleep. For the $$ it was terrible and pictures looked so nice compared to reality!
The room was nicer than the exterior. had fun in the pool. Felt like a motel since access to everything was from outside. rowdy neighbors. flat bed.
The hotel is right in the middle of town, so it was easy to get everywhere. The room was clean, the staff was wonderful, the pool was awesome, and the breakfast was good, pretty much what you'd expect from a hotel. They do extended stays here, which is great! It was a better value than the Motel 6 up the road, which is about the same price and very run down.
The beds were comfy No remote for the TV, no elevator, the toilet handle was broke!
The price was good in comparison to other options. There were no problems with the bill or checking in. I knew that Super 8 would mean a value hotel, but I was still disappointed and expected better. The rooms were outdated, carpets in the hallway needed replacement, and the sink was leaking in the room. We had to go back and have our room key re-coded because it wouldn't open the exterior door. The complimentary breakfast was overcrowded, both in terms of space and in other travelers and there were not enough tables. The hotel location was reasonably located but is difficult to access from the main road and the entrance to the hotel is on the side. I worried about the security of our vehicle and there were a lot of people just wandering around the parking lot at night. We were awakened at 1:45am Sat night by children running down the hallway and knocking on the doors. Next time we'll pay a little more to hopefully have a better experience somewhere else.
Location and price The biathlon squeaked any time you moved while bathing.
The room was clean and newly remodeled. Linens were fresh and the cost was really affordable. At night there were people yelling and screaming almost all night. It sounded violent and there was a lot of concerning language being used. Hotel staff was extremely unconcerned about it and asked us not to call the police. The internet did not work; even after we paid for it. The staff was shady; they made excuses for why the total was not printing on the credit card receipts and would only take cash for internet cards because "the machine is being weird" and then put the cash in their pocket directly.
The location was okay. Not too far from what we were interested in doing (exploring Santa Fe) Filthy room-I don't think the sheets had been changed. Reeked of cigarette smoke (supposed to be a non smoking room) and plenty of holes in the bedsheets where cigarettes appeared to have been put out. Sketchy parking lot, people hanging in parked cars, weird corners-police cars circling, which was a relief since it felt pretty unsafe.
More often than not Motel 6 still seems the best bang for the buck for those (like us) on a limited budget. We are seldom disappointed.
There was a bed Room had burn holes throughout; location was terrifying. My friend and I are grown men in good shape and were both terrified to stay here.
Nothing Had to pay for wi-fi connection that didn't work until I complained 3 different times
Lobby and staff was nice. Seemed safe. Room not in good condition. Mold on shower ceiling. Tub stopper did not work (did not bother to ask for repair, as I was too busy). Bed was probably the worst I've ever experienced. "Spa" was a joke. No jets, barely hot, water appeared to be dirty. Pool also dirty looking. Pool area has great potential.
I've stayed here a few times because of the price. The staff is always helpful which is the only redeeming quality of this place. The front desk even watched my dog while I went to dinner. The place looks like it's falling apart. Wallpaper is coming off the walls and the ac units in the hallways were dropping condensation to the point the carpet was saturated with water.
Bed was ok Not secure; accosted by homeless beggar at side entrance which was not locked; plaster from leaky ceiling repairs all over rug, door knob and door; No Hot Water for shower in morning
