"Phenomenal" might sound a little too exaggerated, but hear me out. The service... AMAZING. The staff are super nice, friendly, and very helpful. I LOVE how relaxing this place is. The pool, the beach... They're all great! The food too are very good!! We said we were gonna keep trying out restaurants in the city, but the food in this resort was so good that we decided to have a couple meals there. Overall, I'm in love with this place. I would totally stay here again the next time I'm in Cabo, and I will definitely recommend this place to every person who'll ask me about Cabo❤ PS: Please do not be bothered by the ongoing construction. It wouldn't ruin your vacation... I can assure you that ;] Nothing....
most common areas were and in good shape - paid for upgraded room but resort only had one (still no window coverings) and it was right next to loud construction - probably wouldn't have been that big of an issue had I not emailed reservations ahead of time to ask about this (and told construction would not affect us) - front desk refused to accommodate us or provide concessions insisting they had the room available (even after showing them what their reservations people had emailed me)
This is a laid back, but fun resort that is right on the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The pool is beautiful and the beach is very nice. Several people have said that this is a non-swimming beach, but we went in the water each day and had a blast. You just have to be careful if the riptide is strong. There is construction going on at the resort, but it didn't really impact us much. We are not very high-maintenance people, so little things don't really bother us. If you do let little things bother you, you're probably better off spending more and going elsewhere. Our room was brand new and had a gorgeous ocean view. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. We will definitely come back here.
We loved the entire stay. Room was awesome, bed cozy, food excellent, staff incredible, location amazing and beautiful! Can't wait to go back!! Beach was beautiful! I am going through withdrawals and I just left 7 hours ago. Nothing!! Not one thing!
Beautiful, nice and quiet hotel. Away from everything. Private beach was beautiful, calm and relaxing. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Each room was stocked daily with complementary beer and water. If any assistance is needed in the hotel.. Ask for Alex.... He is awesome. Only 2 guest allowed per room, far away from everything. If young, I would recommend staying in San Lucas. Supervisor was very rude and does not have customer service skills. Wouldn't not stay again due to too many hotel restrictions. Also, you cannot bring any alcohol, outside food or drinks to your room. They want everything to be purchased through the hotel.
The resort is beautiful, but that's as far as it goes. The staff is friendly, but tough to come by. I'd suggest going elsewhere The worst part is the food. On each night of our stay, we went outside the property for dinner, which is terrible given how much we paid.
Super attentive staff. Very friendly, some were funny. The best food of any resort we've stayed at previously. Rooms were romantic, views were gorgeous. Great pools, lots of seating, chairs, outdoor activities. Cant' wait to go back! Nothing.
The layout of the resort - lots of space, beautiful gardens and great swimming pools. The views of the ocean are fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurants excellent. The beach is non-swimmable because of the strong surf and currents. However, it's still great for a walk.
Located right on the beach, great views from ocean view rooms. Beach is great for surfers, not so much for swimmers. Quiet location, no large resorts nearby. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast was included. Easy bus ride to Cabo San Lucas. There is not a restaurant on site, other than for breakfast. There aren't too many restaurants that you can walk to, so you need to go into town. It is easy to get to Cabo San Lucas, but costs $8-$10 to take a cab into San Jose del Cabo.
The room was clean. They checked us in quickly. The price seemed reasonable. We went to the restaurant to eat, but it was completely overwhelmed (See my negative comment). We came back later and the staff was as helpful as possible given the situation. The food was mediocre, but we were also not expecting much. The hotel was overrun because TS Javier caused numerous flights to get cancelled so people came across the street for a place to stay. The storm never really materialized into much around the airport. It rained a little, but nothing like in Cabo San Lucas where streets flooded. Anyhow, we needed to stay the night to catch our rescheduled flight the following day. We were comfortable, but unfortunately, the WiFi in the hotel never worked. The staff seemed perplexed, and assured us it would work, but even when we went downstairs to use the business office computers, none of them had internet access. They could have just told us the truth instead of letting us keep trying to connects for 45 minutes. The pool was also closed as well as the gym. They said the gym flooded from the rain.
