Great location; two-three minute walk from Palace Square and close to other interesting sites as well. Good quality of rooms and excelent help of the staff. The first time it is hard to find the little street so close to the big Nevsky Propspect. The rooms are on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator.
it is a very simple bed and breakfast style hotel with 7 clean rooms and great location, near to all the important points in St.peterspurg specially Nevsky prospekt. Nothing to be mentioned as long as you are not looking for luxury
Very hospitable staff, cheap price, a lot of space in rooms. There are no soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Breakfast could be better....
nice people, wll located The entrance door is a bit of a shock but very nice once inside, good breakfast
respect and care by the staff, very nice lady called ludmilla and receptionist very helpful.
Quite a nice B&B hotel. Location in the city centre, surrounded by lots of places of interest. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms.
friendly stuff too noisy
nice, cosy place with a familiar outlook and friendly management
Thin walls and doors: you hear too much noise and conversations from other rooms.
nothing!!! bad service, bad smell terrible stuff
an attempt of the receptionist to be nice Breakfast was quite poore and uncomfortable, room is small for the price/family size. Almost no curtains - not good for St. Pet summer nights. Stairs is under repairs, etc.
Great location and friendly staff. Stairway and warm water. It is not against hotel it is more about owners of this building, might be St.Petersburg жкх.
Enjoyed the proximity to all things of interest--shopping, museums, etc.
The Hotel staff was very kind despite their poor english language! They try to help you in every situation, and they had helped us a lot! Excellent location, and nice & clean rooms. Very poor breakfast
The location and friendly personnel. Like always in russia, the staff didn't speak very much english, although I appreciate that they tried.
The hotel is very close to downtown, right in front of teh Moscow Railway station which is very convenient. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a very cozy and clean little hotel. Excellent value for this money.
The place is based in a dilaptating building with lots of dsestitute peopel in the dangerous neighborhood. I would opnly return because of the price.
Good place at the city. There is a cooler in the common kitchien. There was warm water all of time. Noisly from a corridor, because of flooring.
Was basic, good value. Area ok. Plenty of variety for eating in the area at various prices and standards. No WiFi/internet, but lots of cafes etc.in the area have this for a reasonable price. Entrance a bit off-putting, but don't worry the hotel (one floor up) is fine.
Very nice hotel in the center of the city. Good restorants and foodshops close to the hotel
This is my second stay here. It's clean, comfortable, and is good value. Location was suitable for my requirements. It is an honest no frills hotel with a light snack type breakfast included. If you want more, look elswhere. Don't be put off by the entrance. It is common with others. The real entrance is one floor up.
The location The noise from the street, and the very run-down entrance/stairway.
Hotel staff were polite and efficient. The rooms that face onto the Fontanka canal are too noisy to sleep in. The car traffic is loud and non-stop, there is loud music on that side of the building, and street drinkers congregate just outside the windows. The rooms that face onto a very grimy courtyard are quiet, but tiny. The breakfast provided was a paper lunch bag, with instant cereal, juice and crackers.
The location is great. It was warm in the hotel. There was a safe deposit box in my room. I paid only ~50% of the usual room rate. Good for solo-travelers without sophisticated tastes. The entrance is extremely dirty. The walls in my room were stained with something, and so was the bathroom floor. The room is small. The interior decoration is poor. I don't understand why they claim that it is a hotel of a premium category. The breakfast is poor.
friendly staff nothing
It is excellent hotel for city trip. cenral location. near metro station and sights. breakfast is good enough. nice staff. there was a bit cold in the room, but hotel staff brought small radiator.
Overall it was a great place to stay, I liked the relaxed atmosphere and that we could use the kitchen to make hot drinks whenever we wanted to. I also liked that we had free use of the computer and internet and printer to print out our e-tickets. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean with clean bedding and towels that were changed every day when necessary. 1. We asked for an extra bed to make a twin room into a triple room, the extra bed was an old sofa bed which was quite bulky compared to the amount of space we had in the room, which meant we had to squeeze past it and climb over it. 2. I paid for the group stay by card. This payment was taken at the head office and I wasn't informed how much money they were going to take from my card until I got home from the trip after the payment had been taken. I already knew the price for the rooms and the airport transfers but I wasn't advised about the registration charge and would have liked to have been given an itemised bill before paying. 3. The snow from the roof was melting & dripping onto plastic under our window which was very noisy.
It's located in the centre of Spb. It takes a few minutes to go to the Hermitage and other places of interest.
