This hotel is a real value for the price. The location is a little off the beaten path, but if you are able to add 10 minutes to get downtown, it is a real value. Nice rooms, very clean and well appointed and comfortable. Lovely setting with lake and outdoor areas for the rooms. Hearty breakfast. I will definitely stay here again when in Sacramento if I have a car. Nothing
I suppose the bed would have still been comfortable. I started coming here about 15 years ago. Now new ownership. The bathtub looked like it had been hit with a sledge hammer then repaired with Play-dough. The AC was on heat. I requested maintenance, but they never showed up. The rim on the ice bucket is so sharp I cut my hand. The outdoor light fixtures along the lake were broken with exposed wires. Paint was faded. What was once a lively bar and restaurant had one person as bartender/server/bus. The 200+ person dining room was reduced to maybe 30 and that was closed. The only place to eat was the bar with diner quality food. Front desk likewise had one employee. The place was a ghost town. After sitting in hot room with no maintenance I found another hotl and checked out. So bad I wouldn't stay.
Old, needs a lot of upgrades Towel dark and old Poor customer service Need a lot and lots of upgrades Dirty
Decent fitness room Really bad old hotel smell. Room had a creepy access door that opened right into a conference room that included access doors from four other guest rooms. Door was very thin and not secure.
The pond, fountains and gazebo were very pretty. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. The buildings were dated, as was the interior decor. Don't drink the tap water!
the extended pool hours, nice pond in the courtyard Internet didn't work, or no instructions on how to make it work
Convenient due to the Chris Isaak concert The room smelled like it was a smoking room when we arrived.
Rooms smelled bad. Could not stay, just had to eat the cost. Exterior hotel needs painting and security. Could not stay. The smell in The room was just bad. Did not want to leave my car outside overnight.
Rooms don't have a fridge. Could hear noise from the adjacent room. The only place to have breakfast is an iHop a mile away. Seedy crowd.
It was nice short stay. Relaxing listening to the fountain outside and watching the ducks and geese swimming in thier pond. Thier resteraunt was closed. Had to eat at the bar. Ordered several beverages and food items which were not available.
Hotel was old. Single level with lots of unconnected buildings. Parking lot is a maze. They are pet friendly so beware. Old hotel, loud freeway
Close to trail for walking. l would have preferred to be closer to downtown area.
Having a restaurant in the hotel. The location near I-80. The bathroom was a bit small.
Starbucks and good food on site. Comfy bed and nice room. Very close to 24 hour active train tracks and very noisy at night
Walking distance for the fair. Offered a shuttle to the fair. Room not ready when we arrived had to downgrade room . woke up at 9 am by a maid IN our room cleaning while we were trying to sleep when check out was at 11 am. Restaurant not open
Staff was friendly and the lobby was very nice. The bathroom was not clean there was black hair on floor and in tub and I am a blonde. Which is kinda gross! It made feel like the rest of room was half fast clean so I did not use the glasses or other amenities. The lighting in bathroom is bad when trying to put on make-up I wish there was lighting was brighter by closest. I wish they told me they had a pool. I found it on last day when I was leaving. They over charged my credit card which froze it and I had no money to eat! And I forgot my camera charger in my room and I have left 3 messages and have not yet got a response. Not sure if i would stay here again.
Eateries opening hours did not follow advertised schedule. At breakfast time, had to wait about 5' for a waiter to show up. Hot water took its time in showing up.
The price was great. Breakfast excellent. Happy Hour was good. Mattress was awesome. A little dated..... no services on concierge floor / lounge starting on Friday. Not even hot water for tea.
Sheets and towels were clean. Room was an OK size. Internet worked. Surly staff Daily charge for parking No refrigerator in room. Shower head not working properly Tub slippery No bed cover or extra blankets Soft bed Noisy and impossibly to adjust air/heat Really noisy room (planes/trains/automobiles)
Nice staff. Heater worked. Plenty of outlets Stained linens and towels poorly made bed Poor internet (and if not HH member, you pay) Charge for parking Lots of "fees' drive up the price: beware Currently under construction
It was very clean and well decorated with nice art work etc. The bar staff and some of the reception staff were very helpful. Internet access purchased was not reliable but this was rectified when we complained.
Clean room, great staff, good food. I travel for a living, so time off is precious. We stayed at the Hilton as it has always been a comfortable place. My wife was part of this trip and participated in a meeting here. These two days were my few days off. At 8am on Friday morning I was relaxing with a cup of coffee when a very large grinding noise started over head. It was bad enough to knock a few pieces of my rooms ceiling down onto my computer, as I was at the desk. The front desk was helpful with my noise complaint, as the noise ceased. Yet during a business phone conversation I was having the noise began again a little after 9am. Giving up any hopes of relaxing or even having a phone conversation, we packed and left our room. Even the Hilton should inform guests of renovations so that we can understand perfectly that there will be no piece during your stay. Ron
The staff was friendly. We were given cookies at check in. Elephant bar was across the Street. our toilet overflowed all by its self in the middle of the night, feces everywhere. They refused to add my partner to the room because I booked the room on kayak. I needed my partner to check in early but he was no able to. Had to pay for parking
Comfort and quality and service. Nothing
I needed a roll out and it was not available. The hotel did not look like If it was completely sold out. I also requested a double bed when I arrived. And was denied. Had to purchase a air mattres
Love the food hotel was very clean staff was amazing definitely going to go back I used a soda machine told me 75 cent for a can soda charged me 3.50 on my card.
The warm cookie at check in is a nice touch. Overall everyone was really nice and helpful and my room was very clean. I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and the close proximity to the Arden mall. I found it's best to leave your car parked at the hotel and walk over to the mall. I didn't like that I had to pay $8 for parking. Guests should have parking included in their stay.
The cleaning staff were helpful. How this hotel could advertise they have a 'Business Center' is beyond me! It was one PC and a broken printer. Their 'free' wi-fi was very slow and kept disconnecting me; however, you could pay 'extra' for high-speed! Outrageous.
Staff not very welcoming or friendly. Room not what we expected. Very small and all night train ran . Did not get any sleep . Will def not go back.
The room was nice and clean. We had guaranteed late check in and had prepaid, but when we arrived at the hotel, they had overbooked and had no room for us. They booked us at another hotel in town that'd is not have the same amenities, and refused to pay the difference.
I love the full kitchen and cleanliness of the hotel.

Friendly staff that seem to love their job and take pride in the hotel. Ofcourse like every other hotel with all rooms booked, expect parking issues.
Clean, kitchen in room, friendly staff, convenient location. Not enough parking & spaces too small. Breakfast just adequate (I've had better). Breakfast area too small. Hot tub was taken out (cemented in).

Nice hotel close to the expo center and with very easy access to the highways. The nice thing is we couldn't hear/sense any noise from traffic. The room is spacious with a full kitchen for food prepping, and in excellent condition.
Everything was excellent! The staff was great, the rooms clean, beds were super comfy (even the pillows were perfect), lots of little touches like the Kurig coffee makers with a complimentary selection of coffee and teas, snacks, drinks and fruit.. While the general location may not have been in a picturesque, the hotel had a nice, clean courtyard that was fully gated with a kind of retro feel to it. Evenings were quiet, so I was able to get plenty of rest. I was in town for training at the post office and the location was just minutes from the facility. Cant think of anything I didnt like.
Cleanliness. Boutique style exterior and gated parking lot were all very appreciated as its in a not-so-awesome part of town. The bathroom was very nice. The AC unit was high up and behind the TV. I needed to stand on a chair to turn it on and off. An AC unit with a remote would be a game changer. The room was very poorly lit, plus, every wall and ceiling was painted BRIGHT red. It was like I was in some kind of horror movie. The windows and finishings were nice, but without a screen, they weren't very secure.
I loved that the hotels location was in walking distance from the wedding I attended. Since it was so close and I was in an unfamiliar city this eased my mind. The staff was very friendly. The suite was spacious very clean and comfy. I loved the pillows so much I requested a late checkout. The best part was the continental breakfast because the eating area was large enough to accommodated many of the guest that attended the wedding.
Clean, comfortable and a great breakfast Everything was good.
Offering cottages as an alternative to hotel rooms was an excellent idea, especially close to downtown. It offered a home-like setting at the price of a hotel room without the cost of renting an entire house. The units and grounds were very clean and secure. I would definitely consider staying at this location again.
I loved the rooms and loved the owners. The units were spotless and well furnished, and the owners could not do enough. Bernice and Jackie treat their guests like family.
Cottage was cleaned and well organized. I love Redwoods and there was a brochure in one of the cabinets about Coastal Redwoods (which made me like the place even more). Dishes were washed, television worked, internet was fine, A/C worked well. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Not enough trees or fauna around. Plants always make an environment more comfortable, especially when the plants are drought resistant.
The friendly atmosphere, relaxed nature and the ability to self cater provided the ambience for a pleasant and affordable holiday.
I only booked for one night but after staying one night I decided to stay for an extended stay of 7 days. Very beautiful place its like being at home.
Modular homes are pristine; like a tiny home away from home, complete with kitchen and everything. Neighborhood is a bit dodgy, but the units are gated with a security code, so we never felt unsafe.
quiet location and very central to all businesses. the staff was in a hurry of getting raid of you, and we were the only customer in the last 15 minutes. Not a pleasant person to talk to. Her customer service rating is zero. Did not even answer our request for a senior discount. No plans of going back.
Bad experience , derty , I stayed for 4 days my room was not cleaned even once. Sounds could be geared all nigh and day. Breakfast very poor only Coffee and fiber bar.But the staff was very nice.
Room recently renovated Clean Helpful staff Heater wasn't working well No extra blankets in room
I love the kitchen and that I can have a hot breakfast in my own kitchen and that I can cook dinner if I want to and save money. I liked it all. It was even very quiet.
Located next to shopping mall, easy access to freeway. Bar closed for fire code violation, showers not hot, TV remote needed batteries, bathroom not clean, everything seems worn and needs updating. Lots of rooms available, which made it a little scary, though very quiet. Seems like the motel has seen better days. Breakfast was cereal, fruit, pastries only.
The location is good and convenient; the room was reasonably clean; staff was friendly; gardens were attractive; breakfast was pleasantly complete with fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, juice This is an older property and is showing its age. Some buildings are closed, seemingly awaiting renovation. This is not a feel good, quality property. But for one night, the location and price served our need.
The location - very convenient for me. At the price I paid per night, this hotel is a good value. Of course, it isn't a luxury resort - a good value. Street noise
The room looked modern. The bed, bed sheets and bed spread were dirty. There was hair on the sheets, and when I told the housekeeper she just picked the hair off and flicked it on the ground.I had to ask the staff three times to clean the bed.The room was to expensive to be dirty
They have completely remodeled this hotel. It is very nice. Nice big comfy beds.
