The staff was very friendly. It was very close to Mayo Clinic downtown. The place was very clean. It was outdated, but clean. The elevator needs to be replaced.
Clean rooms, nothing fancy. I felt comfortable. Big glass windows looking out to hallway. The curtains could be closed and then it was private.
Friendly staff, willing to help out. Room was a great deal
Cheap and ok locaty Dirty in all public areas. Room had broken latch on window. Despite problems it was fairly priced motel with clean beds and good air con
Nothing! Waited 15 MIN for desk person to arrive, got to room it smelled so bad. Musty, damp & downright gross. The carpet even felt damp under your feet. The curtains were paper thin & let ever but of light in. We chose here for the price but agreed that we will never stay there ever again. If we have to pay $50 more to stay somewhere else we will. After getting home bag we had clothes in even felt damp & that wasnt even on the floor.
not much. I should have spent $10.00 more and stayed somewhere else. noisy inept staff that was prone arguing with costumers. poorly stocked continental breakfast. cigarette burns on the carpet. cigarette burns on the bathroom floor. the room smelled like dog urine. The carpet looked dirty. AC didn't work. Could not get the window open. Skip this place spend a few bucks more somewhere else Run from this one.
Because we are return customers, it was great that the staff (appeared) to remember us as we remembered them from the previous year. It is very possible that they just took ours names from the register, but they came across to remember us. That was just a great feeling. Thanks for the conversations when no one else was awake to chat with, thanks for the ride to and from, and most of all, thank you for making us feel as if we were your only guests.
Discount on Breakfast @ Denny's next door. Motel breakfast was limited on choices. Beds were comfortable enough and clean. Hot water in shower/tub did not turn completely off. Maid told us she had informed owners days before. Television was a disaster and frustrating. Parking was complicated as there was only one entrance at the front door and our parking was supposed to be in back of the motel where we could only go OUT the door.
we stayed there my daughter was at the mayo clinic .. nice that the hotel offered shuttle service to the hospital ..they did let us check in early.. which is nice we just had a 5 hour drive.... also got a discount at dennys next door... did give good directions around town needs to be updated... our room needed better curtains they didn't reach each side so they did not block out all the light.... you could hear all the doors opening and shutting ..kinda of a weird set up ..
The hotel price was very low. The hotel bed was uncomfortable, the room smelled bad, the floors were dirty, the door was difficult to unlock, it took several tries, the room was very empty, not even a pad of paper or pen. I felt unsafe upon arrival. I will not stay at a Motel 6 again if I can help it!
The 1st room I was in had a odor which was over powering. The 2nd room was not much better. The mattress needed replaced. The whole time I was there they never once came in and cleaned my room. I cleaned it myself they never changed the sheets or gave fresh towels I washed my own. The price was all I could say was ok
