It was I think around 10 pm. I called the receptionist and asked him how I coulf switch on the bed head light he answered "sorry I cannot help you". A for the other girl receptionists they were excellent.
The Hotel staff was very helpful and tried to accommodate us whereever it was possible. For the type of Hotel and the price, I would have expected a Tea/Coffee making facility and possibly a fridge and microwave in the room, as offerred by other Hotels with the same * (Star) rating.
Not Much. The Hotel was not in great shape, walls were dented, paint missing, carpets needed to be vacummed/cleaned. The air conditioner did not work well in our room. I doubt there was air on in the hallways as it was hot in the hallways. The elevator was very slow. The Staff including the Manager were rude. I don't have anything good to say about the place.
Everything The ice machine was broken.
Such a great price! the rooms look ten times nicer than what you would expect for the price. I couldn't get TSN HD on TV, had to settle for a Pittsburgh Penguins game on another channel rather than the Habs game. Truly devastating, haha.
front entrance impressive, reception great 4th floor grease smell, room musty smell, four steps down to room so luggas cart left at elevators and you carry all to your room. bathtub dirty.
Excellent staff who were personable and knowledgeable. No.
This hotel is a short drive from Old Quebec, and a walk away from great shopping. The only thing missing from this great value room is a coffee machine. There is a restaurant on site however where coffee is available.
Central location for my needs nothing to develop
After reading some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive about ataying here but I had nothing to worry about. The hotel is located in saint Foy, if you are getting the train from Montreal as we did get off at this station. The train journey was excellent. It's a short journey from the station by cab. The hotle is located on a strip where there are other hotels and there is a mall within 5 minute walking distance. The no.400 takes you into the centre of quebec city and is about 15 mins drive away. The restaurant rascal located right beside the hotel is excellent for breakfast and dinner. The room was adequate but only wish the quilt was a bit thicker as the room was a bit cold at night and too hot in the morning. Swiiming pool relaxing. The only complaint i had a bout the swimming pool was the showers were cold and there were no changing facilities which meant a wet trek back to the room!
You can hear people walking in corridor. Sound proofing could be better.
The hotel has nice location , nice and helpful staff, the room was clean and comfortable. 1- There was no microwave. 2-there was no free breakfast. 3- the coffy packs at the room were no free[2 dollars for each pack was not expected].
Good location, neer highways and Université Laval. Nice staff. Excellent restaurant. Very beautiful bathrooms. No pool. Very small.
The rooms, bed and bathroom were modern and pleasing to the eye. There doesn't seem to be any insulation for noise. It's as though the corridor is right in the room. For the quality of the room, the corridors don't seem to be part of the whole scheme. As well, there wasn't a top sheet, therefore one wonders whether the comforter envelope is changed with each different client.....I doubt that very much. Not enough bath towels, either.
Don't like the fact we need to paid for cafe in the morning if you do please let us know went we reserved so I will stay other hotel I was there to prepared convention for group 56 guests in quebec to bad for you ...pierre C.
Cleanliness, friendly, helpful front office staff, good bed and linens and modern bathroom, convenient shuttle to city.
The bed was very nice, the room seemed very clean. There was a $2 charge per cup of coffee or tea made in the room. This service is usually free in other hotels.
Design of room and excellant shower
I really loved the decor of the hotel, it was beautiful and they used very nice quality fixtures in everything. The styling was extensive whether it be in the room, hallway, restaurant or bathrooms. I thought it was a tad on the expensive side and my request to be placed away from the traffic was ignored. The pillows were very hard...they felt like concrete had set up around my skull.
I liked that the rooms were very clean, and the shower was great. The staff were very informative and friendly. I didn't like that the resturant downstairs did not have a full range of prices. Everything was too intimadating for my casual dress and moderate budget. I needed a snack Saturday night and had to go elsewhere when I was very tiard.
Staff was so polite
Good value for money. It's modern in design and kept up well: good for people like myself that have pretty gross dust allergies. It's also pretty simple to get into QC from this hotel: just a right, another right and a scenic drive down 136 and you're there.
The room was so very clean and the staff very helpful. A little removed from Quebec City.
Visiting Quebec city
The Breakfast was very good! I would have liked a better light in the washroom to apply make-up. I found it rather dark. Pretty though.
Everything.....all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was very good for getting into the old city via a very scenic drive. A most enjoyable stay and a great price point. Thank you .
I really liked the service. They treat you nice even if you don't speak French. The room was great. Nice view. I honestly liked everything about this hotel. If I was to go back to QC I would stay in this hotel. Oh and the manager was great. He answered all my question and gave us suggestions as to what would be best for us to do.
The room sucked. The air was not working. Lousy coffee. I will not return.
