Only stayed for the one night, all the staff that I saw were very polite and helpful, the room was comfortable and presented very nicely.
Staff were great, kind and helpful. It was near sea with a beautiful pedestrian walk just 5 min walk. It was also near town centre and a Tesco Express for a quick shopping! Due to there being a (classic) bar at the ground floor in the hotel, there were loud noises coming out starting from about 8:00pm to midnight; it was weekday though! Also, I did not like the breakfast as there was a very limited variety of foods/choices for the breakfast.
The names of Cornish towns for the rooms a very nice idea Very clean and personal kind
Simple, friendly - good pub - good breakfast. En suite bathroom was a bit cramped. General condition of the hotel was a bit tired.
staff very friendly food excellent very nice pub beautiful views all perfect for us
Its location On arrival our greeting was poor, they had no record of us staying luckily we had our booking.com copy, the room had not been vacuumed or cleaned properly and had an awful damp odour. we found the staff not very friendly in general disappointed with our stay.
The location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lighting on the staircase in the house adjoining the hotel
Location was superb and picturesque, food was excellent and gravy was the best but limited choice, locals were really friendly and made us welcome, we were in the cottage next door and found the room (5) very small , We were next to the road and the front door and some people cant shut a door quietly as they enter and leave thats not forgetting the seagulls at 6am. We wern't fussed on the selection of beers and their prices .
The location overlooking the unique harbour could not be bettered and although being a busy pub and restaurant, we had a peaceful night.
The very friendly and attentive owners, the comfortable bed with a good breakfast to start the day.Nothing was too much trouble. No comments.
The rooms were very nice and had all sorts of thoughtful frills. The location.
Very good view, excellant breakfast None
Fantastic view Very friendly and helpful staff Excellent breakfast Good value Not easy to find Heated towel rail did not work
I found Panorama Guest House a wonderful place. Lynda and Rob were so very nice, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and all was decorated to a very high standard. The food was scrumscious. A wonderful stay, will stay there again and bring friends. No bad points
Breakfast was the best!!
Our twin room on the ground floor (no.4) was very spacious and extremely clean. Shower Ensuite was very stylish, modern and clean. (electric shower itself however could do with being replaced to a new one as pressure quite low) A lot of brilliant extras such as hairdryer, biscuits, cappuccino, shower gel, shampoo, cotton pads etc. TV also very good. Staff was second to none - brilliant advice given to where to go and what to do.
Amazing views from the residents dining room and lounge. Was situated at the top of an extremely steep hill and to have an evening meal you either have to drive or walk down the hill.
The welcome and hospitality could not be improved - Lynda and Rob are running a very friendly house which is comfortable and beautifully furnished and decorated.
I found the hotel to be of the highest standard, clean rooms, comfortable beds, a wonderful cooked breakfast and welcoming hosts.
My whole stay at Dunedin was excellent but particularly the Full English Breakfast was suberb and one of the best I have ever had and that includes breakfast at the Ritz.
Friendly staff. Super breakfasts. On a bus route. Free parking ( and always available) in the road. Single room at top of approx. 60 stairs.
We enjoyed our stay at Dunedin and found everything to be as advertised. Only a few minutes walk from the town centre and some good places to dine in the evenings.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, room very clean.
The staff were very friendly, the breakfasts very high quality and the rooms very comfortable and clean. The host went out of his way to ensure we knew the area and offered lots of local tips/knowledge. We weren't able to stay longer!
The room was very nice....and extremely warm. We were unable to find the source of the warmth, there being no radiators or heaters in the room. (under floor heating maybe ? or heat rising from an aga or such like underneath ? It would be nice to know. Breakfast was superb.
The host, John is a gem, very social and keen to ensure one has the best experience in Cornwall.. Breakfast is excellent!! n/a
we had some problems adjusting the hot water in our hotel room
The friendly staff and the ease of 'feeling at home'
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Warwick House, our room was very comfortable and nicely thought out. Our hosts ensured we made the most of our holiday and gave us many suggestions for activities in the area. Breakfast was a real treat everyday. I highly recommend this choice.
Great service and food! 10 out of 10
Totally an excellent experience. I have never stayed in a b&b before and this will not be the last. No bad points at all.
This is quite simply the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The room had the most beautiful view posible, you could see out to sea for miles. The room was perfectly clean. I could not fault the cleaners at all, they did a fantastic job every day. The owner of the hotel was amazing. He is the most helpful and friendly man you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. Everyday he asked us our plans for the day and then gave us information such as tide times, opening times, bus times etc to help our stay. He also suggested a walk between Sennen and Land's End which turned out to be the highlight of our holiday. The breakfasts were lovely and the choice was unbelievable. I had a different breakfast everyday and each one was excellent. I travelled with my brother, who is vegetarian, there was several choices for him to have for breakfast which was a great suprise. The hotel puts two folders in each room. One contains menus from local restaurants and pubs to aid your stay. The other contains information on the location of the nearest chemist, bank etc. Both of these came in very handy and showed that the owners really care about you. The check in was very quick and the owner also carried our bags to our room. He showed us around the room to say where everything was. One night, the 2 owners went for a walk to visit friends. They left a note on the reception table saying where they had been and giving their mobile phone number. They also left a mobile phone by the letter so that you could contact them if you needed to. The hotel was within 5-10 minutes or several quality pubs/restaurants and also the main shopping area around Market Jew Street. The hotel was also very quiet though, the only sounds we could hear was those of the tide and the odd sea gull. I am sure that I will visit Penzance again soon and this hotel is my one and only choice of where to stay again. No bad points. Cannot fault this hotel.
Made very welcome, helped me in any way they could, especially in arranging accomodation overnight in London. There were none.
Cleaness of the entire house. Very impressive. View from the dining room is nice. Chris is a very nice person. Just 10 minite walk from the rail station. The heater in my room was too small to appropriately warm my room.
Friendly, clean and accessible. Nothing
The hospitality, food, accom, facilities and location. none
Good location on the sea front There was a big issue when I said I wanted to eat in the restaurant as I was told they were extremely busy with a table of 7 booked for 7.30pm. I wanted to eat at 7.00pm. There was also a lot of shouting from the kitchen when it was discovered that nobody had purchased any potatoes. The shouting was very loud and was easily heard by guests. It took over 35minutes to get breakfast in the morning
Room/bathroom newly refurbished with good quality fitments. Excellent breakfast ( very friendly/ efficient Antipodean waitress). Comfortable lounge areas. Slightly overpriced. Long walk from Rail station.
Pleasant staff, well appointed room and v. good breakfast. Nice to be near the sea but unfortunately my single room had an unappealing view towards the back of the hotel. Quite a way from the town centre
Room Facilities Good Breakfast Lukewarm
Room 2 excellent views, best seaside view anywhere Tv in second room not working properly promised replacement didnt arrive, room 4 poor, bad outlook.
The reception on arrival was helpful and friendly. The public areas were bright and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the menu for Dinner looked very good although we did not use the hotel restaurant in the evening. Personally, I found all the stairs and carrying my case a bit of a bind but managed as it was only a short stay.
Nice and cosy hotel facing the Promenade. I like the Victorian-style decoration in the living room and the dining room. There is no elevator in the hotel and the room is rather small.
Room not ready until 21/2hours after check in no lift and no offer of help with luggage poor state of decoration in bedroom uncomfortably hot in bedroom very slow service at dinner
the breakfast was very good along with the sea view the room was cold and when we requested the heating to be turned on they refused.the location was not very good
I thought the breakfasts were very good and the staff friendly
I arrived at 22.10pm the member of staff was friendly and considerate and offered alternatives to questions I asked.
Clean, everything worked, no frills, just what we wanted for an overnight stay on the way to the Scillies. Surprisingly quiet. Able to book it well ahead, unlike B&B's via Tourist Information. Can get breakfast at he parent Hotel next door. Small rooms, I wouldn't like to stay for long
Room was quiet, comfortable and relatively clean, conveniently located to the trains, restaurants and the Beachfield restaurant next door (very nice breakfast), had free internet access in the hotel bar/lounge area at the Beachfield. Teacups in the room were not clean and had to be washed before use. The service staff in the hotel sent me to the library and a local bar when I asked where I could get internet access rather than telling me they had access right there. Although later on they did tell my husband they had service and gave him access. I tried not to take it personally!
the room size was adequate but the staff and cleaness of the lodge were excellent. Superb value for money with friendly pleasant staff. Ten out of Ten!
Really good customer service by the receptionist (blond girl with curly hair)
Clean, comfortable, all in good working order. Not expensive. No guidance as to how or where to check-in on website or at the location. Asked in neighbouring restaurant- who were helpful, but not happy at how often this happens. You check in at the hotel next door. They need to put a simple sign/notice in the window, it's easy, quick and cheap to do! Room has only narrow, high windows- the only drawback really.
Hotel good, annex adequate, pleasant staff who were very helpful Room very small nd a little expensive
The heater was not working
Before I even arrived at the Hotel I had needed to move the reservation back by a day and the Manageress had no hestitation in taking care of this for me, when we arrived the next day we found the room to be very modern and very clean, the location was a few minutes walk from the Town Centre. We were also able to leave our luggage with reception after checking out and then collect it later which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone else and would happily stay there again myself.
