everything was OK. Nice view, cozy place, luxurious enough. Lack of parking lot was definately negative. Only 10 places exist in the hotel, at the backyard, for a very central hotel and I was forced to place my car on the street, fortunately next to the hotels' entrance
Central location Worst hotel experience in my life. Stay away
No shower curtain, bathroom stayed wet and humid all night.
The staff were very friendly and accomadating N/A
Absolutely awesome location in the heart of Patra. A little bit dirty, but great for young travelers who are looking for no frills. Beds are not very comfortable
Staff were polite and courteous; the hotel was strategically located in the center of the city, which is full of life. Parking is not provided, but with the help of the staff I managed to find a parking space free of charge next to the hotel.
internet - does it works or not?
The Location is Prime. The reception wasn't pleasant enough and had to argue and convince about the booking made. The Bathrooms need some improvement. Though pretty big, they need some refinement.
Location, sea view, staff Breakfast is very poor
the bathroom was very old!
A properly run hotel with good sound proofing and air conditioning - both essential in this location - and a fine roof top restaurant. The staff are exceptionally helpful.
the facilities were up to my expectations for a 4 star hotel. I liked the sunset view, not common for city hotels.
The room was quite big, the breakfast was nery nice and its location was near to centre of Patra. We did not need to take the car to go out.
Poor faciities, furniture very old and worn, there was a very curious smell on the 5th floor and in the room. The parking at the basement was unacceptable and it was charged 8 euros per night.
good position good sraff uncomfortable beds and noisy
because of the reason of my travel localisation was perfect: close to ferry port and to HD Super Rally. I did not like the rule room shou;d be paid befor check-out - strange
The Pool on the roof was very nice. Amazing views of the port. Restaurant on the roof - with a lovely sunset.
Amazing view of the bay A bit old but very nice
Central location, ideal for all amenities when visiting Patras.
High level staff and management. Breakfast excellent and very diversified. All facilities in the room. Free internet, ironing table, safe, TV, big room, big balcony, coffee maker, refrigerator, hair dryer ...... Cleaning and everything you need for a long stay. I will return with pleasure. Except nearby highway, the tourist area is exceptional. First bad impression left by the area where it is located, with too many immigrants, otherwise harmless, is fully compensated by the services rendered. Do not leave a first impression to influence negative your travel.
The hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. The design of hotel is very modern and stylish. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Everything was just fine! In the whereabouts there were a lot of immigrants loitering around, but they were peaceful and totally harmless.
Very modern, clean, bright and tastefully decorated hotel. Everything worked in the rooms. Plenty of extras included in price of accommodation such as internet access and a breakfast with a wide variety of selection. There were beggars and loafers in this part of town, and perhaps guests should be warned. I think they were more a nuisance than a danger, but one young man was persistent and started touching me when he would not take "no" for an answer
Very, very... clean. Comfortable room. Sevice-oriented personnel, rich breakfast. It's far better than other hotels of the same star category in popular European cities that we have visited recently.
While staying at Airotel Patras Smart Hotel i enioyed the behaviour of the hotel staff as well as the facilities. the location of the hotel is far from the city center
Romm quite large There is no beach
The staff was very friendly, the hotel had a nice small - cozy feel and atmosphere. The food was very good. The beach wasn't that nice, no sand, just seaweed, but they had a dock that you could use to go out for a swim in the sea.
not much good, really. It was the most expensive and the worst hotel in our trip around greece. bathroom had broken shield, the hose of the shower was to short. Room was small and noisy. Small pool. There was an entrance to the sea, but there is no shore.
Absolutely not adequate for a 5-Star Hotel. Dirty drawers , broken door handle, thermostate of air condition defect. etc.
it is an excellent hotel very friendly and helpfull on a very good location, beautifull vieuw
The location close to sea and pool in conbination with the atmosphere of the hotel. The extra cost for using of the Sauna. Should be heated during some certain times of the day for booking of the guests.
big comfortable rooms, nice restaurant, nice breakfast, clean baby pool and main pool, covered parking the sea in front of the hotel is full of big rocks - good only for scuba diving not for small children !
This is certainly not a 4 star hotel. Only the price is. The accomodation is old and the swimmingpool was dirty.
It was quiet, nice staff....we enjoyed a lot.
It's good for transit stops or business trips. Good international breakfast and very beautiful and comfortable pool. Good comfort in the junior suite in the depandance (which is nearer to the sea) we had been given in place of the triple room we booked. In front of the sea, with not so beautiful shore and total absence of a beach.
The room has a style old-fashioned-romantic & modern as well .The two windows on the roof were magnificent . Spacious room .Big,comfortable double bed . No parking .Noise till 4am from the near bouzoukia club .
nice and spacious rooms in the middle of the citycenter, very good breakfast
Helpful and pleasant staff - they found a place for our bicycles. Good breakfast. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Reasonably quiet for a hotel in Patras within walking distance of the port.
Central location, facilities
Very nice decoration of the interior. Centrally located so very convenient for shopping and going out in general without the need for taxi or car. Our room had no windows, only skylights.
Delightful hotel - very helpful and pleasant staff, great room. Central to ferry and sights of Patras.
place in the city
Reception staff very very kind and supportive.Very good location, very nice decoration 18th century romantic atmosphere, very clean, perfect breakfast. I fully recomended it and would stay again in the future with pleasure.
Friendly staff, center of the city, nice breakfast We stayed at the attic which, although luxurious, had no windows!
Polite staff, Spacious room, good breakfast, close to port, amazing interious.
The owner must have spent an awful lot of money on renovating the building, but it was quite a long time ago and the very expensive interior was worn out. And, since there is no reception on site the locked door and the leaflets and other litter lying in front of it didn't seem too welcoming.
Beautiful hotel with awesome wooden floor and amazing furniture. Huge and the most comfortable bed ever! Small bathroom, small shower cabin, there is no need in such a hydromassage cabin.
The decoration of the room and the interior of the building in general is absolutely amazing. Antique style for a renovated building. Also the prices were incredibly good for the rooms we got (I imagine all the rooms are the same), being apparently low season (end of May).
Excellent old school decoration, combining tradition with modern facilities.
The hotel is located in the centre of Patras. The room was clean and comfortable. There was no elevator in the hotel and it was difficult to carry our baggages to the first floor where all the rooms were located. The breakfast was poor and it was served at Hotel Byzantinon (50 m distance from Konstantinos Palaiologos). The bathroom was clean but very small.
None No reception, or bar. Very poor standard for a 4 star (supposedly) hotel
Many thanks to the staff, very polite and helpful None
Reception staff were excellent - informative and friendly.
The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had at any hotel. They kept bringing delicious food to us. So much, we were not able to eat it all. Also, they gave us a little liquor bottle as a thank you for staying with them. It was a little hard to find. I believe it would be a good idea to have a better sign that shows that you have arrived to the hotel.
This hotel is brand new, clean and modern. The staff and owner could not have been more accommodating. They arranged for taxis to meet us at the bus stop, they gave us restaurant and bank recommendations. They were so wonderful we will return. Some taxi drivers did not know about the hotel because it is so new. Just print out the address and phone and they will find it easily.
Nice Hotel, good location, great staff, great price. Really really terrible pillows, paper thin walls, plug socket fell out of the wall when I unplugged the fridge.
staff, facilities, rate
Helpful staff, beautiful hotel and grounds. Good food. Very nice swimming pool and free yoga session
Pleasant environment in hotel grounds, excellent dinner and breakfast. There was no controller for the air conditioning in our room, and some of the furnishings in the room looked a bit tatty.
Staff was pleasant and helpful, hotel has a nice pool and access to beach (rocks, no sand). Use GPS to find it.
Fantastic staff who couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. Lovely location right on the waterfront. Rooms pretty basic but the pool and bar facilities were very good. Decking right on the water with a pier for access to swimming.
fantastic location and very friendly staff and owners. the food was especially good, the rooms were very tidy and clean. loved it.
Helpful reception staff - arranged taxis and advised on cost.
Clean and comfortable Hotel with excellent, friendly and helpful staff - good value for money Would have like tea or coffee making facilities in room
great swimming pool
Computer with internet connection (free) in the room, renovated convenient rooms, cleanliness, location in the center, easy access, good price The hotel is located near a church, where a clock bell is ringing every hour, and especially on Sunday morning the church bell is ringing. The elevator has an oral notification of the floor, that is heard lour in nearby rooms, every time somebody uses it
i liked the design of the room and also the cleanliness of the room.perfect spot of the hotel there wasn't ventilation in the bathroom or small window
Reception employees were extremely helpful and friendly. When we couldn't figure out how to work the computer in our room, the guy actually came up and helped us. Also, a different reception employee gave us a genuine recommendation for a restaurant which turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip! The bathrooms were nice and the beds were comfy. Located right next to the port, and loved the balcony!
the spa bath was great! and the internet in the room was very useful
While the location of the hotel was very convenient for us (in walking distance to the port) and we appreciated the internet access in the rooms (computers to use), the hotel itself was not really that special. The breakfast choice was rather poor and nothing to look forward to. The room with balcony to the backyard was very modern and clean, the bathrooms almost too modern (not everything worked as it should).
The rooms are relatively large and cosy furnished. The hotel is at anexcellent place in the town. no
It's a very nice hotel, clean and cheap for what they offer
Great hotel for the asking room rate (in August at least). On my first stay it felt necessary to confirm the price at reception after the first night - it seemed too good to be true.
Central city location, close to bars restaurants and cafe's. Also within three blocks of the port, train and bus station. A clean, well run establishment. Breakfast is basic ffor the additional €5 they charge.
Helpful staff, perfect location, walk to ferrys, good breakfast, fast wifi
Unfortunately I'am stay only one night, but I could appreciate the kindness and courtesy of staff. It 'a very good hotel and a good cooking No
No pool towels, had to bring your own. The massage shower would have been good if it had had enough water pressure, which it didn'T. And they made a problem paying with a credit card, claimed it was not good, wanted cash! I called my credit card at the same time and they said they could see the amount, didn't understand why it wasn't going through... so that could only mean reception didn't want to. Definitely not happy about that.
i thought the price provided by booking .com was excellent for the quality and standard of the hotel. only negative thing is the insulation. we could hear the people in the roms next door.
Seaview, gourmet food, internet access Better english from the staff
We had excellent veiw.
The staff was very freindly and attentive. The food was exellent. Hotel was well kept and clean. Although the hotel is on the water, there is no real beach. The room I stayed in was extremely small. Only Greek stations on the television. Wifi was slow most of the time (11 mps).
The hotel offered daily lunch specials, and the food was top-notch. Their kitchen and staff were excellent. Dinner was served at the pool, overlooking the sea, perfect view. Hotel does not have a sandy beach, closest true beach about 15 min drive away. You can still swim and such next to hotel, but if you prefer sandy beaches, you may be disappointed.
The setting with the view over the swimming pool towards the sea is absolutely wonderful. Nice swimming pool and outside bar/restaurant area. Not much around in terms of restaurants, shops...
Large parking. View from the room. The bath is extremly small and not confortable.
Because of the situation on Greek railways, we suddenly had to stay overnight atPatra. We found this hotel through the internet, and it turned out to be an inspired choice. It was close to the railway station and port and near the centre for the shops. Although we only stayed one night it was rated by my son and me as one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip by rail to Istanbul and back!
clean, near city center, helpful and friendly staff. air condition was too loud and nomatter how hard I tried, I could not change the temperature from the default setting to anything else. Also, breakfast was poor.
Location - very near port, shops. Clean bedding. Hotel room decoration very poor; wallpaper and paint peeling off walls in bedroom. Very dirty fridge which didn't work. Balcony dangerous with live cable, hole in concrete and loose railings.
The first receptionist gave me directions to the city hall only after I initiated questions about the ferry and family research. The best part of Hotel Adonis though was leaving. I did not feel comfortable or satisfied with the hotel as advertised. It clearly stated a luxurious hotel and it was far from it. We stayed at other category three hotels in Delphi and Kefalonia that were much more accommodating, updated and clean. The walls and carpets were disgusting. The elevator scared us with its age. When we came back to the hotel at 9 pm no one was at the entrance to greet us or provide security. The hotel has abandoned buildings on two sides and is located diagonally from a noisy bus station. This hotel had so much potential and probably was nice 20 years ago. However it needs major renovations. I would not stay there again.
Very basic but clean with en suite and good breakfast included. Excellent location for ferry, buses and trains. Good, cheap overnight stop.
Directly behind bus terminal and easy 5 min walk to ferry terminals. Air conditioning did not work. Badly in need of renovation and a thorough scrub - dirty, very dated torn wall paper, hole in bathroom door.
location is good! it's been renovated, but do not open the cupboards....the insides are still rotting!
Although it was a good location to the train and ferry station (which is one of the reason we chose it) it wasn't close to much else and we had a very boring stay because of it.
Close To port and train/bus station. Staff helped as much as they could. Spoke a bit of English
Handy for ferry terminal and train and bus stations. Very good.
faciliities, cleanliness of bathroom
The Hotel was very conveniently located and had good views over the harbour. It was not expensive. The bedroom itself was very clean and everything worked OK. The corridors and breakfast room were in severe need of redecoration. The breakfast choice was not very good.
