Quite new and apparentely clean Location - in the street near a kind of munitipal office for jobless - not comfortable and not safe to bo honest
Location and possibility to make a quick breakfast or snack by myself in the hotel room. Would recommend this hotel to the people who is looking for a cheap hotel and location, but no comfort. Unpleasant smell in the room and elevator. Smoke on the alleyways.
The location of the appartments is very good. The appartment was very small. Nothing compared with the pictures, the pictures have been photoshoped, the rooms look bigger. Not a good place to go with older people, the elevator was not working. Also the room cookery was very poor.
was a very central location within easy reach of metro stations staff very helpful and friendly although location was central there was some kind of job club in same street as apt lots of people lingering about most days and they were very noisy
The staff was helpful There was nothing to be liked about. The access road was very bad, with beggars near the main entry road. The rooms were too much cramped. The price of hotel is too high compared to comfort and cleanliness.
Location is very convenient in terms of transport to/from airport: 7 minutes walk to Gare du Nord; couple of metro stations around; walking distance to the centre (around 20 minutes walk to Rivoli); couple of supermarkets. Hotel is located at the side street, so it is rather quite in the room. Kitchen facilities is a plus. Once you book an appartment you expect to have at least some elementary stuff available at the kitchen, eg. salt, pepper, some oil. That is normal for other countries in Europe. That was missing. Rooms and bathroom do not have enough ventilation, so it is rather humide in the apartment. It could be rather uncomfortable if staying in summer.
For the money, it was excellent. Very near Gare du l'Est and Gare du Nord. Near many convenient bus routes. Just up the hill from Notre Dame and the Louvre. It was only a basic hotel room - bed, desk, toilette, shower, sink - nothing special. But we didn't go to Paris to see the hotel room! The wireless internet was very slow but the clerk showed us to the parlor and an ethernet cord! Voila! No service - had to ask for towels and tissue. Noise in the alley outside the window at night.
Intially there was a confusion on number of persons, and which room to allot; they had to log on to the site to get my conformation; later on it was fine Yup; did not feel secure to keep windows open; maybe a/c could be installed for summer or even fans could be kept
The 2 bedroom apt with a kitchenette was good for family of 4. The housekeeping services were poor as they only made my room once with a 5 day-stay I had. Towels were stained, the glass shower screen were faulty and this caused the toilet floor to be wet everytime one took a shower. The toilet seat were broken when my family checked in,however, the hotel managed to get someone to fix the seat. We had to replenish the dustbin plastic bags on our own as the housekeepers did not do a thorough job. We also had to clear the rubbish in room on our own. Insufficient lighting in the room. Limited hot water supply as each room has its own hot water tank. On one night,my daughter did not bathe as we had ran out of hot water as I used some hot water to wash the dishes we used for dinner. Fair location.
Private patio The variety of cooking utensils was limited. No fry pan. There was no toaster. The hotel should provide soap to wash dishes. Some of the dishes were not completely claened
Staff were superior and very helpful. The dining room was too hot. Food was okay, but I had to ask for some eggs to be made as the dish was empty at 9.30 and then had to wait 10 minutes for them.
The location seems to be close enough to the cool stuff like shopping, the louvre, moulin rouge, it was the perfect stay for us. Only a block from the metro and city bikes. The front desk was outstanding and the breakfast was complete and great. We booked last minute at an incredible rate and totally beat out the airbnb we stayed in the same area. It had AC, wifi was great, breakfast was filling, and staff was great. Nothing.
Convenient location, close to Gare de l'Est but not your usual dingy train station hotel. On a quiet street off a main road. Rooms were renovated and modern fixtures. Clean facilities and friendly staff. With no air-conditioner, the rooms might get hot but not a problem for some and certainly not an issue autumn to spring.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, lots of good places to eat nearby and lovely to be able to walk by the canal in the evening.
Good service, convenient to Metro and Paris train stations, staff friendly especially Ahmed, room was small but very nice and very lovely.
spacious room, modern decor, very clean and well-lit toilet, very nice and comfortable. tres bon. not enough light for the room when the toilet door is closed.
I have stayed a few times at this hotel and think its biggest advantage is its staff. They are especially warm, friendly and helpful.
We had a small, but comfortable room. I also thought that breakfast was very good. When we were there, it was very hot, so airconditioning would be very welcome...
hotel staff was very nice and helpful, decoration of the room was quite nice and also the room was not so small as typically for Paris hotels. no safe in the room
Paris hotels are small and expensive. Hotel soft is small, but affordable, comfortable, up to date and clean. The staff is very service oriented and helped us in many ways. Very close to Gare du l'Est Metro station making all the popular sights a quick ride away and Montmarte only a 15 walk. We will definitely return. Nothing.
Very good service and good breakfasts. Staff very friendly and helpful and really convenient to Metro and Paris train stations. The room was very small.
The location was very convenient and the staff was extremely helpful. The room was clean but small, however it had everything you need when staying out of home.
It is quite close to the station Cleanliness level is low, the room is too small for a twin bed, the bath room equipments are not well taken care.
cleanliness of the room and location lack of soundproofing
It is a very conveniently located hotel for a night's stay during transit, in its price range, with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Room is too small
The staff was nice, the room was great value for our money. Always clean and very comfortable beds.
The staff was friendly and the owner was nice.
The staff how they behave was excellent and also the location is perfect because of the train stations....
Location. Very close to railway station
Very great location from the Gare Est ... only a few blocks. The hotel staff was very friendly and had no problems with me leaving my luggage behind the counter to sightsee before I departed later than afternoon.
good and cheap place to spend the night..
A perfect bed for a great rest. Staff is very helpful and speaks English well and tolerated our poor French. They arranged transportation for us and were helpful with directions. Location is close to 2 train stations, several metro stations, good restaurants, and near a market. It is on a busy street so it can noisy but shutting the windows does muffle the noise. The bed is so comfortable that you don't hear any noise because you are such a deep sleep.
location to metro/train station comfortable bed tiny bathroom-smaller than on a ship
I liked that the room was very warm and cleaned everyday. It's close to the center (about 15 min of walking). I didn't like that there were signs of water on the ceiling above the door. The bathroom ceiling was full of spider webs. The door was in bad shape. Overall I think this isn't a 3 star hotel, more a 2 star one. Another thing I didn't like was that before arriving at the hotel I phoned to check the booking but no one there spoke english (but the receptionists at the hotel spoke). Over all I wouldn't recommend the hotel because is not good value for money.
It was actually a very good value for money. You get what you paid for. The staff were quite helpful and were able to speak English without any problems. I didn`t have breakfast there so I can`t talk about that. The location wasn`t bad, specially for the ones who go to Paris using Eurostar. I would definetly recomend it to people traveling on a fairly short budget.
Comfortable, and great location. Water and M&Ms in the room was nice touch. Spacious bathroom. Cutlery at breakfast was not clean, and croissants didn't seem fresh.
subway access Charge for internet
No hot drinking water
Location: Metro (10m), Gare Est (300m), Gare Nord (10 minutes), Quietness, Excellent breakfast No internet connection: 1) Wi Fi did not work. 2) Problems with hotel pc (internet)
Very clean and luxurious Room was nice and clean Breakfast was nice The hotel staff are friendly Hugo at de reception is amazing Nabil in restaurant is nice nd friendly
Availability of free papers and magazines. No dinner service.
It is very close to gare du nord and has a metro station right next to it. Breakfast is an excellent way to start the day. Were not able to print a voucher for me for Disneyland, which meant a delay in getting in at the resort
The hotel's location is excellent, breakfast very good and well-attended by staff. Everyone was pleasant.
Position alongside Metro. Adequate breakfast. Limited time for availability of tea/coffee facilities - should be available later in evening for return to hotel after evening out. Non availability of milk very disappointing. No bar facilities. Decor very cold and sterile in public areas. Not enough storage in bedroom area.
The all you can eat breakfast is a very good idea and adds a lot to your stay in a foreign city.
Location was nice. On a quiet street between Place de Republique and Gare de l'est. Although the washroom was typically small, we were shocked that there wasn't a real door. Instead, there was a semi-sliding door that didn't really shut completely; a curtain would have provided more privacy!
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay and the room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is €7pp and its nothing special.
The staff at the Reception were extremly helpfull. The shower is too small, an average or petite person can hardly manage getting in and out of the shower.
N/A Nothing it was a very loud hotel not relaxing at all and I did not feel safe there. I also did not like the fact that the lights in the hall ways were not on all the time. I was traveling alone and it made it hard to see when it was dark. Room was very very small from what was described on your website, not at all worth 129E
the hotel was fine, but once again I was disappointed with booking.com, which failed to pass on my special request to the hotel.
Location directly by the train station we were using Missing bathtub
The location. We booked this hotel because we were flying out the next day and could walk to Gare Nord where we caught the rer to the airport. The reception staff were quite efficient, and offered to store our luggage when our rooms were not ready. The staff also were very gracious when I complained about our very noisy neighbours in the next room. I believe that they phoned our neighbours because the noise did diminish at 11 pm. Rather than cotton sheets, they were rubber lined synthetic sheets. This made for a warm, uncomfortable sleep. The walls were thin and we could hear our very talkative neighbours. Selection at breakfast was great, but the croissants were not up to par as they were not really crispy. We did not really like the location of the hotel in terms of restaurants and walking around in the evening and at night.
Location, very close to railway and subway stations. Free internet access. Good breakfest.
The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. I arrived early in the morning from an overnight flight from Africa and was very tired. The receptionist allowed me to check in early so I could rest. This made all the difference in my weekend in Paris. Very nice!
The staff were very friendly
Near railway stations
Closeness to facilities both restrauants & subway / trains
Across to M7 line metro station. Outdate room furniture and carpet. AC was not operating 2 nights I stayed. Force me to open window . With loud street noise, I can't sleep all night. Need to switch to new room next day. This hotel should be a 1 star hotel. 3 star is totally misleading.
breakfast was ok Wireless lan didn't not work, could not logon, got no IP adress so no explorer etc, reason could be my laptop (firewall was off) why not a simple RJ45 lan connection in every room? I was refunded but had to go to an internetcafé to look up some last details
Staff was happy to answer questions about the city of Paris
Very convenient, quiet
The staff was friendly, it was near the metro station. The room was really small, the beds were small too, it didn't have any plugs to charge stuff, except for one.
Friendly and helpful staff My credit card was charged immediately, instead of just to reserve the room - this was later rectified but it did take several phone calls
the patio area,b'fast avail til 10.30, staff were friendly. it was quite noisy at night and early mornings, doors banging, people shouting.
This hotel was appalling. We were given a room with mould and a door that did not lock. After I complained, they changed the room from 4th floor to second floor, and gave us a tiny room, very basic and poor quality for the fee. The hotel has falsely advertised by cleaning up the outside of the hotel with flowers and awnings, while the inside is extremely poor.
localization and the room is good the elevator is very small
Hotel staffs are really kind.
the location is the only plus point this hotel has.
The hotel was older & basic, but as advertised; rooms included bathrooms with showers and price was great. The staff didn't speak much English, but we managed. The location was very convenient to Metro and next door was a wonderful little restaurant/bar with great food at reasonable prices. Daily dinner specials incl. 3 course meal, including gourmet dessert. Food as prepared by a great chef with wonderful presentation. There is no lift (not a surprise for an older hotel), but we were able to get rooms on second floor, so only one flight of stairs.
I did not like anything about this hotel. It was extremely dirty, in a bad and dangerous neighborhood. The staff was not nice. I was shocked to this the dirt in the bathroom, the sheet and cover were smelly. It was hell. I do not advice anyone to stay in this hotel, or you will catch a sickness or something from the dirt and the bed.
Take the price into account, it's O.K. Near the Metro station; Everyday clean is good. The reception is not so efficient, keep you waiting; The room condition and facility is so simple that you can't tell it a typical hotel.
Quiet atmosphere, easy access, well informed staff They didnt clean floor in room
price Bathroom does not have ventilation. Restroom on the 4th floor could have a better seat
it is not a good hotel especially when you share toilet and shower it is not clean. it was hard for me to use in that hotel. I don't feel comfort because it is very old Hotel.
The staff were friendly and the location was ideal. I felt very safe there, and it proved better than most reviews. The room was very very basic. The showers were quite far, and quite dirty, but its not too serious.
Very basic rooms, but with a good shower and good price/comfort ratio No breakfast or the possibility to store luggage.
On their homepage they inform that check-in is possible until 00.00 but as our plane arrived at CDG at 23.15 and RER connection was not available because of construction work during night time. I called to the hotel and informed about the delay and the receptionist kindly agreed to wait for us. The room was very poor and very small. There was a toilet in the room but it had no door, only curtain. The room was very cold.
Value for money, convenient location. So-so. Only for sleeping.
Good desk staff, location Parking extremely difficult and only a garage (very expensive) several blocks away. The elevator was the smallest I have ever seen, and would accommodate only one guest with a small bag!
The hotel is in a fairly good location, within easy access of Gare du Nord and the central sites. Stayed at the hotel for three nights and two of them our sleep was disturbed by drunken guests from other room(s) shouting and entertaining themselves through the night. Obviously not hotel's fault, but this has affected my mood the next day... I made some comments to the receptionist the next day but I don't think it made much difference the next day...
Clean, good for money, though a little far from the center it's a nice place to stay very quiet at night. The stair going to our room is dark, not enough lightings.
nice location, directly at the metro station, good to reach from the airport, quiet, friendly and helpful stuff, clean rooms, good value for money rooms are very small, breakfast room is a bit cantine style in the cellar
It was very near to many eating establishments. It was also relatively near to major attractions. The metro is just around the corner of the hotel. The breakfast was a little boring. The price was too high.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were more than helpful with giving me hints on what to do around the city and how to use all the public transport. For someone who had never been to Paris before it was easy to find. I a spot close to the metro line and not too far from all the tourist spots and more.
close to center, bathroom was OK Very noisy in the mornings, Housekeeping tried to enter the room without even knocking between 9 and 10 am.
Fair room size for Paris standard, nice accomodation, good neighborhood
it was nice but there where hotels cheaper and better in the area, unfortunately I didn't know about them till I got there it was too little for 2 persons but at least it was clean
Good location, we wanted somewhere between the Gare de Lyon and Gare du Nord to stay for one night. The hotel is 10-15 minutes walk to the latter. It is very close to the Republique and a short walk to the Marais for eateries. We only wanted somewhere for one night and so cost was more important than comfort. The towels had been washed so many times they were grey and like sandpaper. The bath mat had been left where it fell on the floor. The room (as seems frequently the case in Paris) was far too hot to sleep well. However this is only a 2* hotel.
Excellent location for sightseeing in Paris .. close to Metro station and good local amenities such as restaurants, supermarkets and cash points. A good budget hotel although room was very small and disappointingly there were no tea/coffee making facilities.
the room was cleam the room was very small, i mean very, very small but the location is good and value for money is fair
Good location in relation to Gare d'Nord, Gare l'Est, silent street, free wireless internet
very helpful and nice staff The elevator is small
staff is excellent!! Friendly! Metro very near, but i dont recomend to people with children! No.
The helpful staff and the central location. The room size is quite small, but okay for the price.
hotel was neat, reception vey friendly and location quite close to what a tourist wants in paris rooms not spaceous, lift and stairs very small, we used 2 room: the bathroom of one of them was a little smelly.
The room was cleaned up daily and looked pretty nice. The hotel reserved the first night rate from the credit card account and forgot to unblock it, even one month after we payed.
location english speaking friendly staff
Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and the 24/7 reception is very useful. Great location with a metro stop very close and a supermarket across the road was handy. Lift and bathroom are very small, but probably justified with the price we paid.
