position room is small
What I like best about the hotel is its location. It is situated in the middle of a great shopping area and is very convenient.
the location is exellent very different from last years both for the level af rooms and for the services
service is good and the bathrrom is good.
The bed was absolutely amazing - lovely soft duvet and pillows Over priced bar in room. Internet 10 euros for 30 minutes
Nice room, comfy lobby, good location in tourist district. Very easy to access museums and beautiful old town Paris. Spa very small, concierge gave lousy restaurant recommendation (tourist trap). Great place to stay, wander outside district for food and more authentic Paris experience.
Location reddiculous price of their continental breakfast of 30 Euro
location the classic room.
location is perfect... rooms are very comfortable...
The best of staying at the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg was the location, courteous service, the size and the quietness of the room. Although it was very charming, our two floor suite, it was difficult for us to tote our luggage and packages on the semi spiral staircase. The neighborhood was not very convenient in terms of neighborhood bakery, restaurants, pharmacies, or convenience stores. The hotel computer room was a sauna closet and with the prices we paid, free internet should be available hotel-wide.
Proximity to Cahmps Elysees Avenue. Good service and cleanliness. Small rooms and less options; e.g. they couldn't provide us with connecting rooms although the booking was done 6 weeks in advance and the above was mentioned during the booking and confirmed later over the phone with the hotel directly.
Friendly helpful staff. Price of the breakfast.
The bed, super comfortable. 1. Bed is queen size bed, not as advertised king size, but as we had a 3 years old son, they provided a separate bed for free. 2. There was a redecoration work going on while we stayed, it was so noisy and really they didn't respect that people want quietness when they go to hotels.
Fantastic breakfast but make sure its covered by room price.Very convenient for Metro and Champs Elysees None bur the odd lightbulb needed rplacing. Small points but there. Perhaps not the interest in spending money when refurb due.
Location It was not a 4 star hotel. It was a 2 star
location - brand new room lobby under construction but it didn't cause any inconvenience
Very stylish, my son love it. Very close to Champs Elysees, easy for shopping. Center of the transportation network, easy for all the majoy tourist points.
Walking distance to Grand Palais and restuarants
location view over very dirty pigeon nest
Decoration, Location and rates The bed
Everething was really cool! just one problem-very small elevator, and also when you see picture of the room when you making reservation online its can be another room, but you allways can ask to change it! small elevator
the size of room very good and confortable
Very good location; decoration of the bedroom
Friendly staff and an excellent location. The old french lift adds to the romantic style of the hotel.
I only like the location, but I can find another hotel with a great location that do not have bed bugs. They need to buy new mattresses. This hotel has bed bugs. If you want to spend every night scratching yourself, book a room.
Spacious family room, with divan for the children. Great location within walking distance to the Champs, Eiflel Tower and Louve. Good breakfast and very friendly staff.
The room was so spacious and clean. The in suite kitchen was just fabulous and very well equipped. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal too - very close to Champs Elysees but on a quiet street. None.
Allways friendly staff and spacious room
it is neer the champs the price of the breakfast (20 euro) is hi for a simple bread and butter
Quiet very convenient location that suited my wife and I. Very good staff.
the location was just perfect. Easy access to champs eleysees street, eiffel tower, seine river and also metro... No complaints. But was not above expextations.
its close to everything
Staff were helpful and suggested a lot of good things during our stay. Breakfast didn't have a lot of choices to choose from.
the location....it was a block or two off the champps elyssee. it is a no frills property that needs a lot of updating.
The staff was so friendly and the facilities was perfect. The room absolutely perfect and the location the best. For me it was the 5th time in Paris in different hotels but, for sure, I will repeat Residence du Roy next time. Great Hotel, great Staff... No, all was abolutely perfect.
location rooms to small and for a longer stay very little space for clothes
The location of the hotel.
Location good. Service and facilities inadequate for a 4 star. Service indifferent. Could not borrow an iron, had to send clothes in for pressing which wasn't returned timeously. Breakfast selection poor. Carpets not vacuumed. Marks on walls and chipped furniture. Lobby very dark. No full length mirror in my particular room. No door on cupboard. Stayed on 2nd floor.
On reseption the awful personnel, spiteful, malicious inattentive people work in this hotel. Has asked to call a taxi, have categorically refused to help me. I do not recommend anybody this hotel
The location was great and the staff were helpful. The hotel was dimly lit, but this did not quite hide the wear and tear. Only one lift was working and you need to take your own torch to see which buttons to press. They claim "It offers luxury, air-conditioned rooms and suites with satellite TV and views of Paris". Well the TV worked but the air conditioner didn't and the view from my window was of hotel walls across the courtyard and the two single beds pushed together when there should have been a double bed don't count as luxury in my view.
Hotel location is wonderful! Rooms/bathrooms excellent. Staff extremely nice, helpful, etc. Would recommend hotel to anyone.
Excellent location. High Quality area really close to Place de Concorde and the Champs Elysees. Not the best breakfast.
every thing 0n the first night i got a room without doors to the bath &toilet
they suggest me a room where button of toilet didn't worked, shower cabin have been broken and hair drier doesn't work.it was terrible
great location, rooms clean, nice bathroom and very good value for money for a paris hotel. i could hear the rooms next door coming and going, nothing too bad just unusual for hotel this nice.
Best location and staff was very helpful, small room
Comfort and quality
We arrived at about 8pm after a 11 hour flight to find that they overbooked the hotel and moved us to another hotel. The new hotel was nice enough but further away from the area than we wanted. The main reason most people book this hotel is the location, sadly we got didn't get to experience it.
