The breakfast was really excellent! The room was not very big and at night it was a bit noisy outside on the street.
Its central position and its level of comfort and cleanliness nothing in particular
The personnel was nice, locatio location location excellent, central, close to the best tapas bar in the town. Rooms very nice and trendy, fine restaurant. Cleaning is not so great (general aspect is fine, but there's a lot of dust). Rooms were a bit overheated, probably according to Mairocans.
comfortable room.helpful staff.close to old town.airport bus stop outside hotel.breakfast quite good.
It was very central- only minutes walk from the train and bus station and all city buses were within 5 mins. walk. The staff were very courteous and helpful.
location, breakfast, cleanliness the shower stick. it was not an overhead shower but a stick on a long tube which one pulled out of the socket on the bath. found this awkward to use. no shower gel available. asked chambermaid but she did not have any. restaurant too expensive for out pocket for dinner
Great place nice rooms friendly staff... Hmm. Can´t think of one....
The front of house staff were absolutely excellent providing us with a map and directions for exploring the city as well as giving us recommendations for a pleasant walk and where to eat. Coming down to breakfast was very welcoming, lots of smiling faces. Although we speak Spanish the staff had impeccable English. I was very impressed with the quality of service. For a hotel like this with such a plush environment it's a shame that it doesn't have a spa facility, even something quite small and/or a gym. Also the bar was very dead in the evening and it might have been possible to create a more buzzy atmosphere by advertising around the hotel that the bar is open in the evening perhaps with a cocktail hour or something else to entice people in.
very comfortable bed we and other guests could not control the temperature of our rooms - staff said they would reverse master control for air con from heating to cooling. Why can't each individual room control their own air con ?
Nice and interesting design. Clean room and very fancy bathroom The bed was in the middle of the room. Hotel staff not on a very high level
Beautifully restored common rooms, a roof terrace and a private little spa area were presented to us on arrival. the staff were friendly and personable, proud of their hotel. The tasting menu at dinner was great value. I suppose old buildings come with a few annoyances, such as a few ants in the bathroom and very noisy plumbing clanking noises throughout the night.
hotel lobby and approaches of the staff as well as location nothing
\good location and very nice staff.
Excellent bed! Parking not included. 14€ extra charged!
Location is great, large rooms with large bed, newly renovated, nice bathrooms. Our room was in the basement next to a garage that would clank open and closed at all hours. Our room also faintly smelled like garbabe occasionally, I can only assume because they store the garbage in the garage. Also no hot water in the morning - staff was not very sympathetic to that complaint - apparently the norm, nothing they can do. Given these things, the value didn't seem right even with the reduced price.
The Shower cubicle needs regouted because of blackness all around the inside not nice.
Everything was ok
Excellent friendly service, central position, reasonably priced restaurant, comfortable welcoming atmosphere Breakfast seemed expensive: used local cafe
The location was the best aspect, it was very conveniently placed for the station, shopping areas and not too far from the main historic and cultural centres. The decor was contemporary and the courtyard a very pleasant outdoor space. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast offered a varied choice and we ate one evening in the restaurant where the food was very tasty. The noisy plumbing and lack of sound proofing between bathrooms was unpleasant, we could hear other residents availing themselves of the lavatorial facilities in graphic detail. The front of house staff could be a bit stand offish, appropriating a hairdryer was painful. The housekeeping was a bit haphazard, the room was not dusted, soap and minibar not replenished, yet the towels were replaced daily despite being left hung up. The approach could be hazardous if people had been out walking their dogs recently.
The cleanliness and comfort of hotel
The manager was very helpfull and the public spaces were calm and relaxing It was quite difficult to locate, I don't think that it is signposted well enough.
Brilliant staff and location with nice rooms and lovely restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble.
Very friendly and helpful staff who really took care of us; wonderful design, beautifully furbished room Room for a superior room rather small; if you are looking for a quiet room you should not take one that faces narrow street (city noise)
This hotel is unconventional, eccentric, quirky and above all utterly charming. If you want to visit the tourist spots or if you are in Palma for some serious shopping the situation of Ca Sa Padrina is ideal...everything you might want within strolling distance. We would not hesitate to return. What's not to like?
location was fabulous staff were helpful and friendly - not often seen as there is no reception at the hotel, but when complained leak in bathroom on arrival we were moved immediatley - not the room we had wanted but still a beautiful room nothing
It was basic, but clean. With no lift facility to upper rooms access for anyone with cases is extremely difficult. There was no one in person in reception to ask any questions.
The location of the hoteli is excellent, right in the center of the city of Palmas
Clean and lovely room - Central location Breakfast - Problems with digital codes to enter the room
accessible location, nice furniture, comfortable bed with crisp sheets. Not much atmosphere, strange not being welcomed by real person! Lacked the warmth of other small spanish hotels I have stayed at. I fell over when entering hotel due to ramp and having a heavy rucksack - perhaps they should put up warning sign by entrance door.
We only stayed for about 10 hours but loved the locatopn and character
Considering I never actually saw another human being during my two day stay, the hotel is run extremely efficiently. I am not a breakfaster, so I did not miss the absence of food. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Perhaps some cold mineral water waiting in the fridge on a hot day is poassibly an idea.. Appart from that I felt like I was staying in one of my own homes.Very quaint ! I was wondering what would happen to the electronic secure locking systems in the evnet of a power failure....
The hotel is situated in the center of the historic town. This is a "haunted" hotel. We stayed there for 24 hours and we saw nobody. The hotel is run by another hotel, they can watch you, you don´t can see them. You yourself have to fill in the documents and you have to fax them. They charged me € 102,- but at the entrance door they offered the same room for € 77,-!!!!! I took a foto.
Hotel is very small, and situated in a very quiet back street just off the Rambla and a few minutes walk from the station. Check-in was very easy and pleasant via the telephone. Nice interior decoration with antiques and lots of oil paintings.
