The location was very good, steps away from park and lake and downtown businesses. Room was very comfortable, clean and nice. Sunday breakfast was good as well. Unfortunately: - Check in time (4 pm) was not good for us .. we had to wait an hour after a 4 hour trip to Orlando ... Kayak did not provide check in/check out time in their email confirmation. - Hotel check-in staff did not explain what hotel had to offer. - Pillows were subpar. - Woken at 3 am by guests yelling at each other in atrium from one floor to another ... not hotel security nor staff present to quiet down the incident .. this happened for approximately 15-20 minutes.
Walking distance to all the downtown bars
I only stopped in for a night, so I didn't get to test out the amenities. The lobby was spacious and modern with a well-equipped bar and plenty of seating for all group sizes. The room was spacious with the living room separate from the bedroom, both containing a tv. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. It had decent wifi speeds. Parking will cost you an extra $30, as there is no lot, only valet. You could also go to the parking garage down the street or pay a meter. For a higher-end hotel, it's a bit behind the time on the in-room entertainment system. there's no smartphone integration on anything. No kind of tv apps or ways to get online content, just basic cable. Other than that, just a couple of minor things like having 6 servings of coffee and 2 sugar packets and nothing to stir the coffee with. Nothing major.
The friendly attitude of the desk clerks, especially Nicky and Mike. Always willing to help. It will be great if it had a place in the lodge to eat and drink
I wasn't expecting much for $65 a night but boy was I grossed out. The people that work there were super friendly but we're not given much to work with. Broken coffee machine, 1 working light, jet engine sounding heater, whole building smelled of wet paint to the point of my eyes burning. Door know was falling off the door. I had to throw a shoulder to get in. Over all 5 stars for hookers and intravenous drugs.
I Didn't LIKE IT AT ALL, I GOT UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND THERE WERE A LOT OF ROACHES ALL OVER THE ROOM THIS HOTEL NEED TO BE COMPLETE REMODEL THE BATHTUB WAS REAL DIRTY WALL AND DOOR IN BATHROOM ARE FALLING APART THIS HOTEL DOESN'T COST THE 65$ I PAY .. I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAINST I LEFT AT 6:AM THE NEXT DAY NOTHING LIKE FROM THIS HOTEL THE MANAGER AND SUPERVISOR DON'T EVEN CARE THE HOTEL IT FALLING APART. AND THE ROACHES AND THE BAD SMELL AWFUL..
Staff was very helpful Dripping water, rotting door jams, bathroom so scary I was afraid to shower.
Close to downtown For the price is totally ok place to stay This s just ok hotel. Don't have huge expectation
Was in downtown Orlando and myself and a friend had a little too much to drink. Decided to play it safe and find a place to sleep it off. The room itself wasn't anything fancy and for the price couldn't beat it. Some of the elements of the room were a little dated, but even though the bedding wasn't as luxurious as some of the nicer hotels it was clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would for sure recommend staying here if like myself needed somewhere to sleep after being out or just on a budget. The room was a little too musty but not unbearable. I would highly advise not booking through Kayak. We accidentally booked for the following night and the Kayak representative was extremely unhelpful. We were double charged on top of it and was told there was nothing that could be done because we needed to call a week before to make any changes even though we didn't book until the night of. On top of that the rates offered by the polite people at the front desk were lower than what were offered through Kayak. I would highly advise calling the hotel directly.
