the room was beautiful the fire dept outside my window
The finishes are terrific and the artwork is a very nice touch. The staff was very courteous.
Decor, staff efficiency, central location, staff friendlyness, unique atmosphere No
CLEAN STAFF FABULOUS TOOK CARE OF NOISE VERY QUICKLY, IMPRESSIVE! Everyone in the group agreed the beds were horrible. Appeared comfy but we all had aching backs... OVERPRICED!!! ROOM SERVICE PRICE RIDICULOUS! No place to get anything we might have forgotten to pack. No little gift shoppe for little stuff... We heard from others in our party the buffet was lousy, so we skipped it although we prepaid for 2 days...
Everything about our stay at the grand bohemian was perfect. The staff was exceptionally pleasant, the food was amazing, and the room was spectacular. I will definitely be staying here anytime I visit orlando.
It was nice having the opportunity in the evening to "escape" from the Mickey Mouse atmosphere and to enjoy downtown Orlando. The food at the restaurant is quite good for international standards. The staff at the restaurant is very kind but not fully professional.
Great hotel! Wonderful staff! Very good food! An overall excellent experience!
The location was very good, steps away from park and lake and downtown businesses. Room was very comfortable, clean and nice. Sunday breakfast was good as well. Unfortunately: - Check in time (4 pm) was not good for us .. we had to wait an hour after a 4 hour trip to Orlando ... Kayak did not provide check in/check out time in their email confirmation. - Hotel check-in staff did not explain what hotel had to offer. - Pillows were subpar. - Woken at 3 am by guests yelling at each other in atrium from one floor to another ... not hotel security nor staff present to quiet down the incident .. this happened for approximately 15-20 minutes.
Walking distance to all the downtown bars
I only stopped in for a night, so I didn't get to test out the amenities. The lobby was spacious and modern with a well-equipped bar and plenty of seating for all group sizes. The room was spacious with the living room separate from the bedroom, both containing a tv. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. It had decent wifi speeds. Parking will cost you an extra $30, as there is no lot, only valet. You could also go to the parking garage down the street or pay a meter. For a higher-end hotel, it's a bit behind the time on the in-room entertainment system. there's no smartphone integration on anything. No kind of tv apps or ways to get online content, just basic cable. Other than that, just a couple of minor things like having 6 servings of coffee and 2 sugar packets and nothing to stir the coffee with. Nothing major.
The staff at the Aloft were fantastic and friendly. The Bar and lounge area were fun and the servers were amazing. The room was very modern and clean. I liked the fact that it was walking distance to most restaurants and Amway center. Perfect if you are doing business or are doing anything in the area. Did not like the valet for $23 a day, which you are foced to pay if you have a car. Was not to bad since I was only there for an evening, for a concert at the Amway center.
My wife and I really liked it all! All of the staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were great. We actually stayed in a room that had a whirlpool that was fantastic. The hotel is in walking distance of lots of cafes. We just had a wonderful time! Thought it was a bit pricey.
The staff was very courteous and helpful. Location is ideal for a weekend getaway to downtown Orlando!
Everything was cool... except the hidden parking fee!!! I can't believe they nickel-and-dimed us $22 for parking upon checkout. This was never mentioned up front. This is American, man.
Good location, rooms very clean and very friendly staff.
It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Liked everything
I loved the way it looked it was so nice and the rooms were beautiful I didn't like that when I woke up there was a giant cockroach on the curtains and when we told the front desk they never refunded us or even offered a discount of any sort.
Location. Close to where my seminar was.
The beds were super comfortable!
happy hour week-days (4-6) with some snacks. (Francesa was very nice at the check-in desk) construction on-going. (Pile driver that is SO LOUD). They did refund some of my money because of the noise (8-5 daily) or so.
Great breakfast included. 10 minute walk to the bars and restaurants downtown. Convenient for all downtown activities. Pretty easy drive to the airport. Glad I stayed here
Great value for my money, the room was missing a few things like soap and could've been a little cleaner only because I saw a wrapper from the previous customers on the counter but otherwise is was good Room cleanliness was a B+
Staff was great very polite And friendly
Starbucks and bar. Liked the shuttle service, too. That was great! No vent in bathroom. Decor is outdated in rooms.
Front desk staff was superb Housekeeping did not come by room for the day that we stayed, but hotel staff voluntarily comp'ed the parking charges when we mentioned it on checkout
The view was really nice, and was comfortable but that was about it. First of all the staff was awful, it was the day before of my wedding and me and my friends had a lot of luggage and nobody that worked at the hotel helped us they saw us but did not do anything to help us with the luggage. Second there was no fridge at the room my flowers were dying and last one the room was dirty, I don't like it at all and I don't recommend this hotel.
I was working in Orlando and lucked into an amazing rate at the Doubletree. It was around $100 plus tax, and my hotel status gave me an amazing free breakfast buffet and a late checkout. Check-in was friendly, and the overnight girl was AWESOME. Best attitude I've ever seen for an overnight staff member, and I stay at a lot of hotels. Sure, the parking fee sucks, but it's downtown Orlando, what do you expect?
Very clean, friendly staff. Pool and gym very nice. Near a beautiful part of downtown Orlando. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants. Wifi very very slow. Had trouble connecting to it and having it stay connected.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. I will stay again for Amway Center events and access to Church Street. You are going to pay 18.00 to park.
Overall it is a really nice hotel Parking is a daily fee.. Horrible. 20$ Breakfast is a small buffet in house 44$!! Worth 20$ maybe No fridge or microwave in house.. Not normal
Cleanliness Fee for early check in before 10 am & a few to have a microwave.
