The only good thing was the location for visiting Niagara Falls. The pictures online did not match the hotel at all. The first room I was in the lights didn't work. We were put in a different room and that one had a shower/tub that got clogged the first time it was used and I had to pull SOMEONE ELSES HAIR out of the drain. Also the staff forgot to bring me towels when I called. The people staying there seemed like drug dealers too. They were basically living there and shady people were coming and going. Not happy.
The place was dirty everywhere! doors and locks were broken.. and no one seemed to care about anything.
Dirty property and the worst front receptionist. Name was Sheela.
Caroline at the front desk was amazing! She tried to find us a cleaner, more comfortable room. When that wasn't possible she brought us a fan and was very apologetic for the lack of cleanliness of our room. She even offered to clean it herself! The room was outdated and dirty. There clearly had been some maintenance completed recently as there was drywall dust and white putty everywhere. Something must have been removed due to the large square of carpet that was discolored and frayed. The bathroom was dirty and we tried to touch nothing. The only reason we stayed instead of cutting our losses and going to another hotel was that it was late after a day of driving and hiking and we were getting up early so we were desperate to get to sleep.
The location is fairly convenient. The front desk clerk was friendly. The entire place smelled bad. The room was filthy and some of the outlets had exposed wires. There was a cup full of cigarette ashes on the balcony of a non-smoking room. There was an adult toy in the drawer.
Room is big Not clean, smelly Wifi is not working
Nothing. Worst place ever All the staff, facilities and services
the office open too late
comfortable location, nice rooms, well-equipped. nice hotel staff, easy access to local attractions, shops, within minutes from a big factory outlet continental breakfast - I thought it would be organized in a better way
Low price room was clean not fantastic
Bed was uncomfortable, as were the pillows.
The price of the room is expensive in comparison with the standing of the hotel. And it's certainly not due to the proximity of the Niagara Falls (about 15min per car). Possibility certainly to find a better hotel with the same price closer to the Niagara falls.
Staff was very friendly and the room was quite comfortable. Bathroom was very nice and recent.
closeness to Niagara Falls.
the staff was very friendly, when we arrive late they leave the door for us, as well as the breakfast of next day. the wall of the family suite is really thin, and noise is significent during night.
The room was large and accommodated 5 people easily The mattresses need replacing and also the bedding. Continental Breakfast was poor and there was no room for it. The rooms need updating. Bath tub slow to drain.
Hospitality; Lila and her husband genuinely provided customer service that matters. They kept a parking spot for us. Gave us the tissue box when we requested only 1. Offered tea when cold. Offered to throw out our larger shopping boxes. It was simple but clean and accomodating. Breakfast. I recommend steaming hot coffee / tea and or bagels / crossiants - inexpensive. I wouldn't mind paying a few dollars more in the comfort of my room than going out...especially when it's super cold.
The manager was friendly and helpful. The room was so uncomfortable - we only stayed one hour and then ran to a nicer hotel . It was really awful - low ceilings, noisy, smoky, small, cheap, scratchy linens, - you name it!
Close to the FALLS If there is no place to find then I will stay.
Staff was very courteous and helpful. Location is very convenient to the falls and Rainbow bridge. Room could have been cleaner, but it is an older facility and is a good value.
great location-near the falls no hair dryer, small room space and parking lot,
There was nothing to like of the hotel while I arrived I got a dirty room the beds weren't done it was pretty bad I asked for a different room and the restroom was clogged didn't work.
Location and value for money are good. The hotel very old, it needs refreshment, there were little insects in bed, that bite me all night. It was terrible!!! Everything seems to be dirty, I'm not sure that they change bedsheets.
This hotel is very close to the falls and the casino. All within walking distance. The continental breakfast was disapointing. No where to sit to eat, had to take it back to you room,.
The staff was friendly and gave suggestions of places to eat and things to do. Hotel was walking distance to the Falls about a block or so. The hotel was just run down and needs some updating. It was way to expensive for the night and the condition of the room, but didn't have many other choices. Hotel was hard to find there wasn't a sign on the hotel I drove by it twice which was very frustrating.
Nothing This is a very old motel. Fairly clean. Grey old towels. It is a dump. When we left at 3 AM for our flight there was not one light on the exterior!
The room's are really clean. The housekeeping staff are really rude. They talk laudly and knocked when somebody getting it on.They push there towels push cart really laud.Walks in the room while you still in there.Puts there damn blanket on top of your thing's.Doesn't say there sorry.Doesn't give anybodys privacy.Staring when you step outside the room.Walks back and fourt while your in front of the hotel.Really rude.
Recommended as a good cleaN budget hotel No
Not value for money ..
The staff are very patient and friendly. Before arrival, I called them four times to change my rooms because my schedule changed due to some emergencies happened. I felt really sorry to bother the staff so many times but they were very patient and helpful. The rooms are cozy and the location is great. There is a fantastic Chinese Buffet and a 24/7 supermarket within walking distance. Also, there is free shuttle to the Niagara Falls State Park. If you wanna travel to Niagara Falls, I strongly recommend you to stay at Swiss Cottage Inn.
The only thing this motel had was it convenience. The motel was terrible. The furnishings and fixtures were terrible. The bathroom was not clean and the sink was almost hanging off the wall.
Clean Room, Clean bed, Clean bathroom. I think this is the best you can get at this price. It's very near to Niagara Falls. There is dunking donuts, super market, Target, gas station etc very nearby. nothing
comfortable beds lack of tea making facilities
Convenient location, priced well, clean rooms, courteous staff available for a late check in for a tired traveler. Small office for coffee and danish
location A litle noisy
economical, clean, basic room cheapskate continental breakfast (mini donuts, danish, coffee)
Everything was in working order and clean. Safe area. Plenty of places to shop or eat around. Run-down appearance inside and outside. Carpet stains. Cheap, overused towels. Can hear your neighbors through the wall. Mild road noise.
Front desk staff and break-fast was awesome... Carpets were not clean and could sense smoking smell inside the room ...
Beds were comfy. Hot breakfast a nice bonus. Very close to shopping!-
hotel staff was very friendly and helpful Hotel Was being renovayed during our stay
Comfortable bed, ice cold air conditioner, fridge, free breakfast, clean, decent price Thin walls, could hear people talk clear in the bathroom, also could hear every movement in the room above us.
The location Very small rooms the photos on the internet are not accurate. The hotel is really a motel, not what I was looking for.
location, friendly staff, shuttle to falls and casino
clean rooms easy axcest roomy would stay again
Nothing the bed had bed bugs the staff was very rude. The room was not clean very dirty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I didnt like anything. I even had to call the cops because they were rude and nasty about the bed bugs. Its a shame you have them on your hotel list it makes you look bad. I would never go through booking.com again.
This hotel is close to the main road and has easy access to Niagara Falls. The staff were nice but not very helpful. The hi-speed internet access consisted of an old computer in the main lobby/dining room. The pool was small, and the rooms were not like those shown on the website. Breakfast was just white toast, grape jelly, corn flakes, and coffee, and juice. Not very impressive
This is a very modest hotel, no drawers to place things, no ammenities such as hair dryer or coffee maker in room. First hotel I have ever been in with not much to offer. Please see above
The motel was fairly new and very clean. An excellent value, close the the Falls and shopping. No breakfast. No fridge in room.
Ease of booking and price was great Room was very small
room was affordable, clean, quiet, and location was convenient to my trip to niagara falls...it only took less than 10 minutes to get to attraction areas like the fall and casino, staff friendly, would definitely consider staying again if need arises without a doubt.
I thought the location and price was very good. I also liked the flat screen TV mounted to the wall which saved space. I believe this motel is fairly new as there was no coffee maker, alarm clock or small fridge in our room.
Refunded the money The cleanliness did not meet basic requirements. We found hair in the tub, on towels, mirrors, on the sheets. The mattress had huge pee stains.
It was a very basic room that did not include shampoo or conditioner
Clean room, affordable price thanks to Kayak. No shampoo in the room so I went to the front desk to ask for some. The rather loud young woman at the front desk exclaimed, "All we got is these packets!" and then presented to me a fistful of very thin sealed-foil pouches that I had to tear open with my teeth. Each packet contained about a quarter ounce of shampoo. I had to rip open three of them to lather my hair once. Forget about repeating. The place was pretty nice for a Motel 6. I guess they needed something to preserve their reputation as a cheap, uncomfortable place to stay. Note: The asking price for this room was $200.
Easy to get to and accomandating Hotel room was small and a tight fit with double bed and two bunk beds not used.
The fact that there was a microwave and fridge in the room, it was clean and cozy. The staff left us a little basket of fruit and drinkswhich was very nice. The staff gave use preprinted maps of where to go for shopping and nearby shops. Awesome! The Only thing I didn't like was that we did have access to our own thermostat, so we got thee late and the office was closed and it was cold on the room to what we are use to.
The service is good, the receptionist (the motel owner) give a lot traveling tips at Niagara falls, like free car Parking near the fall which is really help if you drive to Niagara falls The only thing I really feel not comfortable is the bath towel not so clean.
Such good service and what a nice place. Very cozy and clean. Could use some updating of bathrooms. Water pressure was sporadic.
Close to where we were going
Charles was excellent - he really cared about our wellbeing and if we were going to be happy in the room that I chose and phoned me and offered to change the room for us to different rooms that would accommodate us - he was right. He also went above and beyond to make sure that we had instructions on how to get to all the places we were planning to go. Only one negative thing was that my daughter had a problem with the water in the shower - one minute it was cold and the next minute it was extremely hot. This was before any of us were up using the toilet or sink, so it must have been someone else using the water in another unit. A little later the rest of us had showers and it was just fine, so not sure what happened when she was having her shower.
The Hotel's owners are great. They're helpful, kind and nice. It was really close to Niagara Falls and sopping centers. The room was clean and equipmwnts that are in room were working. we stayed room 2 and our wi-fi connection was really poor.
Nice place, friendly staff. Fruit tray was nice and staff helpful. A bit noisy as its an old building.
The place was clean, quiet and confortable with a good price considering the hollidays The personel there was kind and very helpfull Don't recall any
It was outside city and quiet
The position is very bad, more than 15 minutes drive from Niagara Falls, in a very industrial area. The hotel is run down and the furniture quite cheap and ugly
Location was easy to drive to and frok Niagara falls without the price of being in the city. The woman at the front desk didn't speak English well. She was super friendly she just couldn't answer any questions on trying to find places so make sure youbknow where you are going before hand.
nothing special nothing special
the location between Niagarafall & Buffalo with its shoping center The staff attitude was very tough, furthermore they don't clean the room routinely
very bad service provided by the hotel, i maynot again stay in this hotel. nothing to be like fro that hotel
We enjoyed our room very much Loved the jacuzzi was very nice and relaxing very clean thats a plus The bed was a little stiff and the room was kinda small but all together i was a nice place to stay
Cheap. The room had the "under construction" look to it. The bed was uncomfortable, there was mold in the bath tub. There was tape on the walls as if they were in the midst of painting it. Had a odd smell to it too. We didn't dare walk around the room with our socks off. Didn't pay much for it so you get what you pay for.
although gawdy the bed, sink and chairs were new. the owners seemed somewhat new to the industry and it showed.
It was a nice place to lay your head for the night. It was very clean and has nice rooms. With the brand new TV, the fridge and mocrowave and the comfortable beds make it a nice little motel.
Location When I did teh resevation it showed b/B. (There was'nt breakfast since I paid discounted fee as per staff) not that I would have that b/F. Also staff charged me almost twice the fee for next day and no wireless internet access there as per staff room is too far? Hello! Simply you should not cheat customers who does booking on line!
Nothing The reciption
Nothing Everything, rude people
Nothing Photos were not like the actual place, do not stay here, dirty, nonsmoking rooms smell like smoke pool unusable no toiletries not even soap
There's nothing I liked about this place. I was scared to death. Dirty, Scary, seems like druggies, homeless, and prostitutes come to this place. The place stinks. As I was entering the room, it smelt rotten, bed was ripped and stained, furnitures are all worn out, toilet paper roll was on ground for you to use, light doesn't even have a cover. I couldn't stay, so I asked for refund, but no luck. Their website is even fake. This place can't even be called a motel. I can't believe that this place is even listed here.
The only positive thing I can say about this place is that it was close to our destination and it had many outlets but the bad definitely outweigh the bad. It stank and was dirty. There were blood stains on the sheets. The room was not as described as all. We were told it was a queen double bed w kitchenette and the beds were full sized with no kitchenette. The sink in the bathroom was a stainless steel kitchen sink. The faucet and shower head was barley attached to the tub and the door had been previously forced open. They also were unwilling to give a refund even though we paid $60 per room yet the sign out from stated $29.99.
I can't imagin I can see a huge bathtub in this motel. It can contain whole family! furniture are old. a little bit dirty room.
The owners are pleasant & very helpful. The TV service was limited but the room was very clean & the beds are quite comfortable with extra pillows. Also a great view of the fire works can be seen from several locations at once for the 4th of July. Just minutes from the Falls & Canada. The best place to eat is Nelson's diner which is a couple doors over from the motel.
The host is really nice and friendly and she explained me all the niagara attractions very well. She also helped me with how to go and see these places. The room was recently renovated. Its a quite and clean motel on the riverside. I really enjoyed the view.
the mattresses where very comfortable Washrooms where not up to standards
It was just reasonable and accommodate my need, a place to rest my back at night. However when we got it in at first, the room was so cold which we were advise if we were to go out, just leave the heating on to warm it. We were actually had a comfortable night stay. It was just so cold especially the washroom, it may need a bit of insulation for winter weather. Other than that it was a reasonable hotel for the price.
My husband & I were appalled @ the filthy conditions of the room!! People in the 2 rooms next 2 us were equally disgusted!! Room was supposed to be non-smoking but you walked in u got knocked over by the smokey & filth smell. Crank out windows (2) were broken & would not open! Bathroom was beyond disgusting!!! Toilet was literally sinking into the floor. I took pictures 2 show every1. Floor around toilet was rotted however they tried to cover it up with new tile but when u stepped on the floor you sank! Toilet seat was stained...shower was gross. Bathroom plastic curtain had two big areas that had something brown/black smeared on it. Went 2 walmart & bought sheets & pillows as the hotels were stained & gross! Aweful!!!! Absolutely nothing!!
Clean. Good bed. Free bus transport to city center / tourist attractions. Easily reachable, free parking Relatively old facility
great place and location. Rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. Breakfast had only muffins and donuts. Not even bread or butter.
Old and dirty. the manager on-site is rude The smell and dirty rooms. the manager said we should have requested fridge, microwave! Although they were listed online! He also turned on/off the heater/AC for all rooms from our room!! So he entered frequently into our room and while we complained he said I own this place!!! Rude !
Nothing. The beds are broken. This place needs a real overhaul.
It was quiet. Away from all the action and attractions. Clean. The hotel is run down. They do not seem interested in making it better. Could have a little more to choose from for breakfast.
In Room says two kingisze bed but it looks like Full or Queensize bed, no shampoo or cream in the bathroom, towel was too short can't even wrap,TV remote was not working, also room was not cold, when we went we turned on AC and Refregerator as plug was out to save electricity,Other Red Carpet Inn we lived before and it was completely different, this was just like cheap motel. I will never stay this kind of motel again, think it was hotel, there was no ice machine or cold water, I asked the front desk they told there is a grocery store nearby we have to buy. I asked for water and they told us $0.50 per small bottle and we bought it, and on hotel lobby in truck they were selling beer and having loud music, can't expect this kind of situation. Room bathroom need large towel, shampoo, cream
not much it was not what the site was like. it was run down, it said a pool, no pool the ceilings were sagging water damaged. just very run down most R.C.I are nice airy and clean this was the total opposite. stuffy, mildew smell this site should be taken off your site.
Close location to the Niagara Falls. Dirty room!
The room was bigger then it appeared and was clean. It came with a mini fridge and microwave added bonus. However the heat was to high and made it very hard to sleep in. Over all it was an okay experience. Heating was too high difficult to sleep in a sauna like room.
Nothing. The use of plastic flowers as outdoor landscaping, The blood stained comforter, The one small bar of soap. The lack of a clock., The smell of moth balls in the room mixed with perfume. No coffee pot, or hair dryer . The ancient TV. The large amount of dust. The size of the room. We had to prop a chair against the door because the door lock was broken.
Location The bed
I liked the price, and the convenience to all the local attractions. There was a coffee machine in our room, but there wasn't any coffee. Went to the main desk to pick up our own coffee, and we were told that there was any left in their inventory. Oh well.
Good and affordable room. Location is good. Free shuttle available None
The mattress was very comfortable NO TV GUIDE or channel directory. TV is useless!!!
