Courteous and professional staff. Very nice restoration of this NY landmark. There were no mirrors in the room. Only the one in the bathroom vanity.Maybe they are still finishing the decoration details.

It is a small elegant hotel. The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed. We loved the hotel, but returned to find our room had not been made up all day. They got someone right up to us, but I was surprised by that.

They hit me with a $30 dollars plus tax facility fee which is ridiculous why should we pay facility valet parking is ridiculous expensive , they hotel needs to be updated the style is from the late 90's we should get more for what we paid for
They ignored my original reservation of a King executive suite and put me in a double room. This room had gum on the floor, the bathroom looked dirty, the carpet was disgusting and discolored, overall it needed to be updated. I complained and they ignored my reservation, again, and put me in another double room. This room was slightly updated, but still not what I paid for! After returning a third time, they finally gave me the King room I paid for, but it was almost as disgusting as the first room. Luckily, I had business meetings and was not in my room very much, but it made the end of a long day very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!
Location was perfect! They have a house car that can take you to the airport or pick you up. We had a king room that was beautifully decorated and so spacious. Would definitely stay here again. There were a couple of spots that were stained on the shower curtain and on the down comforter. However, I never felt that these things weren't clean there were just some spots. The knobs on the shower were backwards and the facet was slanted so it was sometimes difficult to turn the shower off. This doesn't take away from the fact that the shower felt absolutely amazing!
The bed was certainly comfortable. Probably the best part of the room. A coffee maker would be nice to have.
The location is amazing and the staff generally helpful. Rooms need some updating as do the bathrooms, but overall the hotel is good value by NYC standards.

The staff was very accommodating. My son had to rehearse for a concert he was playing in and the Manager allowed him to use a Ball Room that was not in use. We greatly appreciated that. Also, the evening reception was very nice. The bathroom could be cleaner. There were chipped tiles and the faucet was lose.
Location is good. The front desk people are not friendly. They hit me with a "Facility Fee" of $30.00 puls tax (daily) no prior explanation from the front desk ( as to what Facility had I used) when I checked out. Poor communication with guests. Luckily I did ask them to waive this charge. They should explain to me on Facilities Fee when I check in!. Poor customer service! Would I come back to this hotel? You guess!
The staff was friendly and the location was great. The guest services were pretty quick: We had issues with the first room and were quickly moved upon request. One of our charge ports stopped working and it was quickly replaced. Lamp shades were dusty and were quickly cleaned upon request. The rooms are really outdated and truly need to be updated, ESPECIALLY the bathrooms. We had to request a move from the first room due to the tub leaking. The sinks and tubs are chipped and the tubs don't drain well (both rooms). The lamps were dusty and some were broken. The hallways are a bit dark and carpet looks dingy. There is a mandatory facility fee that includes calls, wifi, etc...that is overpriced and totally not worth it.
The room was overlooking Central Park and very enjoyable. My Grandaughter(10) and I were so impressed by the hotel service. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Best NY trip ever! Central to everything You see and hear everything in NY. Its a life experience !
Large Thermostat didn't work so tbe temperature was 80 degrees all day. Couldn't call front desk BC phone didn't work. Old towels were in room
I like the location of the Park Lane Hotel. The stuff was very friendly. I didn't like that when I got to my rood the bathroom looked dirty. The toilet seat had a urine on it which wasn't the best welcoming moment.

wonderful staff and excellent service, good room service recipes, amazing manager at check in, absolutely incredible and wonderfully welcoming customer service room was incredibly dated and due for a remodel years ago, minimal in furniture, old and worn mattress , sheets incredibly thin with very used and uncomfortable bedding, carpet is dusty from years and years of use, furniture was so old, minimal, totally uncomfortable, bathroom lighting incredibly poor, light fixtures giving off minimal light, lack of art or general in room FF&E comfort expected at a 5 star property

The rooms were beautifully updated and luxurious. The location is perfect. The only thing that we didn't like was the very, very long wait for room service, especially when it was obvious that the hotel had few guests that weekend.

excellent location in quiet street of Madisson aveniu on Manhattan ,very close to Central park and all shops. Very professional staff always willing to help. Very comfortable beds with beautiful luxury shits with silky finish. aircondition was not working well and making it worse buy high temerature of 40° BUT STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL BUYING SMALL AIR CONDITIONS FOR EACH ROOM ! Special treatment only for guests with american express credit card, it would be nice if that treatment is extended to those traveling with visa gold card.

The upper east side hotel is steps away from coffee shops and boutiques, restaurants are a 20 minute walk away or 5 minutes in a cab. The standard is high, rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are friendly, helpful and have exceptional manners compared to other hotels that I've stayed in. The best thing about this hotel was the European influence. I didn't like that a simple standard coffee cost $6, which really should've been free in the morning given the price (albeit worth it) of the hotel stay. Two cocktails should not have cost $46, especially when prosecco was used instead of champagne.

The hotel staff was - without any exception - very committed and excellently prepared to facilitate all guest needs immediately Concierge recommended a restaurant (the water's edge) to follow the 4th of July fireworks, but from there one could not see even one rocket. A lot of money wasted for nothing.

This hotel is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The Ritz Carlton staff could not do enough for you. The place is luxurious and no request is too small. The staff are very courteous and even though the Hotel is geared more towards adults and business travellers, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming to my two children. Who also thought this hotel "rocked"!!

The best things about the Ritz Carlton Central Park are its Club Lounge area and Spa. Especially good is the ladies lounge where frest fruit, beverages and La Prarie products are provided at no extra cost. The hotel is expensive but worth every cent.

Location, size and service
The location of the hotel is just wonderful - could not be better. The lobby and doormen were very friendly and got to know us during the week we stayed. Our room was beautiful but had no view whatsoever - it looked into a lightwell. My wife and I felt that the front desk staff let the place down. We were promised an upgrade to a room with a view from one receptionist and told to come back at 4pm on our 2nd day to move. After coming from lower Manhattan to make the promised move the receptionist had a change of heart and told us no other rooms were available - although we knew that there were. Front desk staff were the only disappointment during our stay.
