After dinner , wife an I ready to go to bed, my wife noticed pillow cases nor linen was changed. We are avid travelers, we were horrified! Head of housekeeping had it changed at 9:00, but wife an I were tired and this event made us stand in hallway for almost an hour till changes were made.

Good location, poor service!

Comparing with Hyatt (4 stars) in DC, Holiday inn (3 stars) in Buffalo and Holiday inn (3 stars) at 57th street NYC, this so called 4 stars hotel-Park central is nothing. The only advantage you have is location.1.The room is quite small, no coffee maker (I requested 2 times by phone, excluded I came to the front desk to request face to face),no refrigerator(you need to request, the quantity is limited and no one replied about whether they would supply or not.) 2.No hair conditioner in the bottle at the first night I stayed.After the third night, I left a note in the bathroom for the housekeeper and said"please refill the conditioner. Thanks." No one cared about this. The bottle was still empty. 3. Airconditioner was broken. Luckily the front desk changed a room for me. This is the worst experience I have in NYC. I am pretty sure I will not choose this hotel in the future and tell others about this experience. Again, if you don't care about the service at all, choose it. If you don't mind to walk several minutes more to Times Square or other sites and want better service and bigger room, Holiday inn midtown at 57th street is a good choice. And the rate is lower than park central.

Confortable bed, good facilities in the room & cleaness

The room was a bit too warm, even though I switched off air-condisioning, it seemed still warm air is circulated in the room.

the large beds and the fact it was central to our needs. room service good

no tea and coffee facilities problems with the phones and the television. the queues for the concierge where too big. the restaurant was very expensive and not much variety.

convenient location

No hot water for shower in the morning. Prior stay, one elevator bank not working resulting in long delays. Under-staffed front desk with long line to check in.

Absolutely nothing. The elevators are under construction? Its really noisy. The room smelled.

The hotel was very nosy. It cannot accommodate large groups of people in which they have staying there. The walls are paper thin, elevators under construction, noisy, the room smelled, where's the flat screen tv? where's the desk?
