excellent location for a city break as the sightseeing tour bus routes start at the end of Via Medina at the Piazza Municipio & also near to good shopping area & lots of restaurants around Via Toledo on a noisy street, air conditioning costs extra to use.
Location. We felt safe and secure. The breakfasts were substantial. The tiny lift.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved the continental breakfast!
Excellent situated next to Piazza Municipio with restaurants, shopping zone etc.. The bus-stop "Alibus" to Airport and ferry terminal to Capri and Amalfi-Coast only 3 - 5 min walk. Very friendly stuff especialy owner Stefano. Hotel was silent, save ( good entrance solution ) and clean with a budget pricing. When in Naples again this is definitely the choice.
The location was good - easy access to the port and airport bus. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location, couldn't be better! Walking distance from all main sites in the city, excellent connection to the airport and train station. Extremely friendly staff, always available for information and advice and for a nice chat. Our room was very large, even for 4 people and impeccably clean. One of the best "value for money" hotel ever!
It's a family stile hotel. We enjoyed our staying there. It is like a big flat, you feel a bit like at home. It is very cosy and neat. They often have problems with sewerage system in several rooms, it happened to us too. It the evening they just arranged our staying in another hotel. But they did it very delicate and nice.
Its location and the staff were really friendly! The only thing was that it was not clearly marked so at 10pm when I arrived thee was a point when I wondered if i had the correct directions
Svetlana, a really caring ,sweet, young woman looked after us so very well , especially at breakfast. Always smiling, happy and pleasant, nothing is too much trouble for her. Other staff also gave us helpfull information as requested. Our 12 day visit , allowed us time to enjoy the sights and faded grandeur of Naples , as well as other resorts eg. Sorrento, Positano, Capri , Pompei, Herculaneum and Rome People we met here were generally friendly, and this area of Naples , much less threatening than we were led to believe. Hotel position was also convenient for travel to the many interesting places we visited . Local food, especially nearby Antonio's seafood restaurant, just delicious My room although clean ,was hot and humid. The incredible mountain of uncollected rubbish in Naples, leaves me commiserating with the good people of who this city, who suffer this hideous health hazzard among other things, day in and day out.
Access to the Internet, clean and comfortable bathroom, good location, nice staff
I like the beauty of the palazzio, the original paintings on ceiling in the room and in the dining room. We had the impression not to be in an hotel but to live in real Napoli area.
Clean, comfortable, unique and lovely design, lovely staff
Great manager, lovely rooms, excelent breakfast, great location. Wonderful hotel for those fit enough to walk up the stairs - not for the diabled.
The hotel is located in a building built in the 1600's but the rooms are very modern and comfortable. The best feature was Maxim, the manager, who gave us wonderful advice on places to eat and see in Naples and made us very comfortable while visiting in his city. We were not prepared for the first impression of the building where the hotel is located when our taxi dropped us off. We found that in Naples the exterior of most buildings are no reflection of what you may find inside and were very pleasantly surprised once we were in the hotel.
The manager was at our beckon call. He was very helpful in every way. It was a hard to find-"off the beaten path"-even for the taxi driver from the airport. The button at the gate to the courtyard of the hotel needs to be labeled better especially at night.
The building was stunning, room excellent and the manager most attentive. Nothing.
Very high quality forniture / refurbishment, the common room for breakfast is a stucco room and looks more like a private living room (with couches and flat screen further to the tables) than a breakfast room since it's in a period building, there is no lift anyway the manager carried the luggage downstairs for us
It was a beautiful, comfortable and welcoming hotel. The staff were very friendly; it was all you would expect from a hotel.
The room was comfortable, spacious. The breakfast had several offerings. Maxime, the manager, was gracious and very helpful. The location took some getting used to. Hard to find street. The climb up 3 levels of stairs with luggage might prove difficult for some people.
The nice rooms, the spaceous bathrooms, well designed and beautifully decorated, the distance of the location to museums and the university. I would rather classify it as a Boutique B&B than as a hotel.
Once the staff arrived they were helpful and friendly. This hotel has no lobby so I can't say that I liked it. The breakfast was okay if you shop at markets and eat dry cereal, packaged meat, etc. It is more like a hostel but the ad doesn't say so. There was no one at the hotel when I arrived. The hotel does not have a sign, it is hidden in a multiuser building. The rooms are operated by a computer card, you leave the room all electricity is off.
The location is great, lots of little shops and side streets to explore, just around the corner. It's close to the train station and a quick 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. The hotel seems to be newly renovated, very clean and modern. There is free wifi and I believe they have free breakfast (we had a very early check out so we didn't have it).
