It is relatively newly built and the air conditioning WORKS unlike many other hotels in Rome, Milan, LaSpezia, Siena and other towns we stayed in. It is very far from the main tourist attractions - so take heed that you will be a 20-30 minute metro ride/wait from anything touristy to do.
The man at the reception did not speak English. So when I made a call, we could not have a conversation. We had to walk a little bit from the closest metro station but the hotel was good!
Efficiency of staff (e.g. arranging taxis), relatively easy access to public transport. Sparse breakfast selection, intra-hotel noise, shower cubicle in need of upgrade, including partly non-functioning soap dispenser; scarcity of conveniently close restaurants, area unexpectedly dirty (although this cannot be laid at the door of the hotel)
Air cond. doesn't work well
Convenient for my location. Breakfast was satisfactory. No hot water on one day. Door keys did not work properly. Grounds need upkeep. Often delayed entry at gate.
Clean room & bath, Breakfast was good, Fresh fruit is also served. The staff was kind. No free WiFi in the room
Nice Big bedroom. Huge choose of TV channels, mostly in Italian. Free Wi-fi, when available. Internet did not work, and there was no effort to remedy this during my stay. Several requests were simply answered: "Maybe tomorrow" without any apparent concern. I often book hotels based on the internet access, so naturally this is not acceptable.
The layout and scenery of the hotel was very nice Internet did not work, and there was no effort to remedy this during my stay. Parking and dinning room food at dinner. Pretty Spot... Street signs in Agnano to the hotel; also see comments above
If your looking for a hotel in peaceful surroundings with easy access to one of Italy's major cities, this is the one! Excellent and impressive hotel! The rooms very tasteful and clen. There's a an elegant outdoor swimming pool and a big park around the hotel with orange and lemon trees; flowers and plants eveywhere.Very attending and kind staff. Excellent restaurant too! We ate very good fresh pasta and delicious cakes. I'll shurely come back soon!
I had a very nice and spacious room. Everything was clean and the swimming pool was wonderful. Also dinner then breakfast were really so good.............. Just outside the hotel there are a lot of busses for the historical center; there are the underground and a train (called cumana) too!! Superb staff, good price, ultimate comfort - the best hotel I've ever stayed in!!
No service. Pool was'nt in order. Breakfast was bad.
breakfast was scarse
The Pool, Privatnett
Nice & clean hotel.Helpful stuff. The hotel is located next to passing train & train station. Therefore noisy & impossible to open windows.
Large room. Nice balcony. Friendly staff. The shower was awful. Literally a standing slot with a curtain and drain. There was no difference between the bathroom floor and the shower floor. Hotel smelt of cigarettes. Wi-Fi was spotty. Bed was very firm.
The hotel seemed like quite a lot of money for what you got. It wasn't in a location close to the main attractions, and there weren't any real special services. I paid the same amount for a hotel in Spain and got a lot more for the value. We asked for a non smoking room but there were people smoking in the hall outside our room. The internet was very expensive. 3 euro for an hour. But in general it was clean and very quiet.
Room was clean and spacey. Internet was charged even on web site it says that it is free. One woman on reception was not so friendly and hardly spoke English.
Free parking and internet. Small room and very poor breakfasst.
The room was quite well presented and had a nice feel to it. The private balcony was nice - complete with decorative rope light! Roof garden was pretty. Hotel and entrance was well kept. I did not enjoy the taste from the automatic coffee machine at breakfast. The surrounding district to the hotel was not overly appealing (suburban Naples)
Friendly and helpfull reception desk. Nice hotel with Wifi in the room. Good price/quality. Private parking available. Car is recomended as public transport is not that easy.
Quiet location, if you´r not there by car,
The complimentary car-parking space & the hearty breakfast which was all sweet except eggs which were salty......good relief but check with the staff as sometimes its one day old........to get fresh boiled ones one needs to order at least half an hour before. What I don't like was the swarming crowd of one night-stand couples basically teenagers on Saturday night, I saw many of them spread across corridors i.e. rooms at different floors. It seemed sleazy at first sight but later next day it was cool at the crowd was replaced by chorus of local children rehearsing for Christmas carols.
Everything was perfect, for example, this hotel has a wonderfull breakfast with fresh croissants, fruit, yogurt and everything else you would like for breakfast (even very good coffee). The staf was extremely helpfull and very friendly, there is free internet, the rooms have a wonderfull balcony. This hotel is perfect if you want to visit Naples, but do not want to be in the city centre (which can be reached easily by public transport from the hotel)
Value for money. The free internet connection was not available during our stay. I would like to have (next time) suggestions, who could I reach the Hotel with public transport?
Very good price-quality ratio, including save parking area and good breakfast. - "airport shuttle service" for guests of booking.com (reduced price) not available on weekend (when we arrived), during the week not before 9:00am (we had to leave at 7:30am). - When we asked by phone how to reach the hotel from the airport by public transport, the information was incorrect: "From Metro Campi Phlegraei to the hotel by taxi or walking (about 2 km)". No info that there is a bus from the metro-station to the hotel. The day after arrival we got this info from an other staff at the reception desk. Normally each staff of the reception desk should be able to give correct information about this.
room was clean Matrass not OK .Staff at reception desk was not interested in helping us properly when we asked the best way (public transport) to the citycenter; actually they even gave us the wrong businformation. We do not understand : making up a clear and detailed description of what the transportpossibilities are takes about 4 hours and this would be valid/usable for years ; why doesn't the hotelmanagement take this initiative !!!
nice dinner, wifi in room (on 1st floor) they should have fresh bread every morning, in stead of two days old bread for breakfast....noisy rooms.
I was really satisfied, no problems. What concerns breakfasts, sweet food products prevailed over the others (honey, jam, no cheese, sweet croissants only).
Service and staff were excellent and very helpful; nice breakfast and clean rooms. The area around the hotel is not nice; it feels a bit unsafe, even for Naples
Hotel was very close to the Mostra d'Oltremare, which is occasionally used for concerts (as in my case, Laura Pausini). Basic stuff that you need is there, but nothing too fancy. Internet is available, but not in the rooms; and not sure if wi-fi is available to the users, I was directed to the lobby pc. Somewhat larger minibar, so you can cool your own drinks. Larger room with three beds, while I booked a double room, was nice, I like space. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was ok, bit basic, but quite the same as most other hotels I've visited in Italy/France. Paid parking is available just outside the hotel and at the time of my stay (saturday/sunday) plenty of space available at a nice price; also at that time) The room's decoration is very outdated, could use a renovation. Bathroom is quite basic and the shower is quite old (rusty knob, dirty shower curtain). By default there's no clean-my-room/do-not-disturb flyer in the room, perhaps you can get it at the reception. Internet wasn't available in the rooms, but according to the reception guy, they are working on that. Quite difficult to find, even for (Ercolano) local taxi driver. Breakfast was not on the roof, but downstairs.
Position and once the works are finished it will look good. At the moment a lot of work going on, but unavoidable
Unfortunately, we've suffered from mosquitos attack at night. The name of the hotel as externally appears is: "Hotel Delle Terme". The name Charm & Relax does not appear. This can be misleading while searching for the hotel (indeed happened to us).
Needs refurbishing, new windows and a lot of paint
Distance from any amenity.
Breakfast at the terrace, suggestions from the staff, safe parking space improve the room conditions (WC and Decoration)
Great Pizza place across the road. Hotel was ok, value for money with free WIFI. Close to the football ground and a metro station, but you couldnt walk into the town centre
Nice breakfast, room with airconditioning, 24h reception, cheap hotel (compared to others in the city), friendly staff At least for the room I had: bathroom not 100% clean, parking slots right in front of the window, hotel is located a bit outside the city center, anyhow, by bus or metro it was easy to reach and there the prices of other hotels are twice as much
Excellent service from the front desk and parking facilities were a bonus
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We were there for 5 nights, and the staff were really friendly and helpful to us. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace, and our rooms were really clean. The location was great, it was near the metro and we felt very safe in the area. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly choose this hotel again
I ike the balcon in front of the room ,as I could sit out there and enjoy a beer and relax No...but we took the key to our by mistake and are sending it back sorry
Napoli soccer stadium is very close. If you like to see Napoli football matches situation is ok.
This hotel is located in nice quiet part of city(generally Naples is a dirty city)Connections to city center is very good...right beside hotel is several options how to go to downtown...(bus,metro...etc.)At the same street is lot of restaurants, shops,so you don't need to go anywhere....Hotel is not perfectly cleen, but for that price it's fair enough...Hotel has private parking, nice breakfast(a bit sweet)....so basiclly I would recommend this hotel.... I wouldn't recommend this hotel for non-smokers....We felt smoke in the room, rooms are a bit out of date....but as I said good for that price....
friendliness of staff
Very friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast service was excellent.
At least it was basically clean, and a nice location. Other than that all else was horrible Cleaning, geting more staff, fixing the building beacuse it looks it is falling apart, the awfull breakfast (it was almost nonexisting), the rooms that are small, the tv that has 2 channels, the bathroom that is full if holes, the towels that feel like kitchen towels. It needs a serious renovation, all of it.
The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, they made the visit in Naples turn out to be a pleasant experience by being the most friendly people in the whole city! Whenever there was a problem, they made everything possible to fix things up. They even ordered us pizzas delivered from a nearby pizzeria for us every night, since we didn´t speak Italian and the people in the pizzeria didn´t speak English! The room was big and tidy, the beds comfortable and the air conditioning was great. The pool and the garden were lovely and peaceful, as was the whole hotel in a loud and crowdy Naples. I would definately recommend this place to anyone staying in Naples and if I came again, I´d book a room in this homelike hotel. The surroundings were not nice at all, but the everything in the hotel made you forget about what is on the other side of the fence. This is definately not an area cleaned up for tourists, but if you want to see real Naples everyday life, this is the place. It was quite far away from the center, but the metro connections were quite fast and frequent, and easy to use.
The children enjoyed the fact that they could go swimming everyday. The decore and overall condition of the rooms.
Because of the welcome received from the staff it was a very homely atmosphere, and they were always willing to help and assist. The Manager is multi lingual which was a big help, we would be happy to stay there again. It is not a luxury hotel but clean, well appointed and close to the local railway station, shops etc. Well recommended.
The room was far more drab than I thought it would be, but was fairly clean. The terrace is really big, but overlooks train tracks, so quite useless. The best thing is that 4 people fit easily into the junior suite, which makes it quite a bargain. The soaps, towels, and little extras make the room a better deal than the majority for its price -- however, you are FAR from downtown, and thus a car is best.... The bathroom stinks, but the door can be kept shut. The bathroom is very dark, as is the room itself. The train tracks are really terrible, though the noise is not as bad as others have complained of.
the sea view of the room the breakfast is so basic, doesn't few like it is 5 star, is more like 3 star hotel
Very clean rooms, always fresh and white towels ,frendly personnel. Not far from the beach and metro station(10 minutes to town center by train).Very good swiming pool. Breakfast can be more various. No fruits and vegetables at all.
Very helpful staff
Very relaxed atmosphere and outside of city's noice. View of the hypodrome from the breakfast room. Poor public transport connections in the evening.
Nice Hotel, friendly owner. Free car park in front of the hotel, out in the street. It is also possible to park your car inside if asked for and if you return early enough to the hotel. Good value for money if you arrive by car and you want to leave it there while visiting the town. The hotel is very nice but in a quite ugly area, with rubbish in front of the hotel, as usual everywhere in Naples. It is an hour away from town by public transportation (bus + walk + metro).
The hotel itself was ok, somewhat clean but a good value for the room. The hotel is very very very very far from Naples. It takes almost two hours to get there by bus and metro. It is in a bad neighborhood and we often had to pay extra for cabs to take us there at night bc it was unsafe to walk and no one wanted to drive that far out of Naples. The services listed were not available! No airport shuttle!!! Which is one of the reasons we booked the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone not from Italy coming to vacation!!!
