Stayed for 5 nights. Had food at every restaurant practically in he hotel, each one better than the other. The pool and the facilities were exceptional. They had a superman at the pool deck - think his name was Sam. Everything eas exceltional but he was very courteous and took extra care of our 9 year and ensured he loved the pool and the hotel.
My stay at GBH was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and the hotels backyard was Miami Beach.. What more could you ask for? I didn't like the $20/day resort fee that wasn't included in the overall price and the fact that they charge $100 per night on your credit card at time of check in- in the case there are damages to the room.. Although you do get your money back upon check out if all is fine.
GRAND BEACH HOTEL IS A GREAT HOTEL WITH A GREAT STAFF..... THE ROOMS ARE GREAT WITH 2 FULL BATHS AND THE VIEWS ARE TO DIE FOR...... THEY DON'T TELL YOU ALL THE HIDDEN FEES UNTIL ARRIVAL
The rooms were clean, it's a 4:00 check in but I got to the hotel at 11:00am and they had one ready and had no problem getting us in the room. I had the partial ocean view which was nice. Beds were comfortable. The pool was nice the access to the beach was convenient. I didn't like the fact that as much as you pay to stay that nothing was complementary. The food and drinks were overly expensive but you're in Miami everything will be expensive. No microwave in the hotel at all. I didn't care for the $100/per night deposit but they refund it fairly quickly after your stay if nothing is wrong with your room. The resort fees are deducted the last day of your stay. The women's lobby bathroom always smelled. The elevators were slow. One time getting on I was almost stuck in one had it not been for someone prying the doors open.
The Help wa exotic The Help was exotic. The language barrier was hard to overcome. We spent 2 hours by the front desk upon arrival. They lost our reservation. We had a terrible experience. But the dis comp us on alcoholic drink
Location was good. Room was good. Rooms had dirty floor. Moldy bathroom ceiling. The iron made an iron stain in my clothes. I tried calling manager several times, no answer and no call back even after leaving a few messages.
The location of the property was awesome. Food options were limited and expensive.

The Grand Beach had it all, great service, great food, great beach, great location. Beautiful huge room with everything I needed in great condition and so clean, I can still feel the white carpet on my bare feet. It rained a little, other than that , perfect, I would go there again, or everytime I went to Miami beach.
Great location, right on the beach, nice big bright rooms, comfortable need and sofa in the room, 2 huge TV in room, heated pool for chilly days, non heated pool for hot days. Really family friendly, delicious breakfast, Good kids menu. The pillows are way too big and stiff.
Grand beach hotel is a very beautiful hotel located on Collins ave with direct access to the beach. They have two pool and two hot tubs on the ground floor, but we really enjoyed the pool and hot tubs on the 7th floor rooftop. The hotel is great for families or groups as it affords the ability to join adjacent rooms. The continental breakfast is pretty expensive at $25 and doesn't hold much value at $25.
Hotel cleanliness, beautiful decor, waterfront Staff attitudes toward customers, specifically in Valet. They made crude comments and gestures behind the backs of other guests. Also staff attitudes toward business, like they didn't want to be there and didn't mind showing it.
Location, rooms, ocean front. Noise in room when a/c came on. Didn't get fixed before we left. 35 dollar a day valet parking.
Location, pool area, room & bed comfort. It is located right out of the loud crowd on Ocean Drive, so it is a lot more chilled and relaxed. Overall, much better than all other hotels on South Beach. I can't quite say it was a true 5 star experience in terms of appearance and for the premium price. But again, a lot better than the other hotels around.
I was charged twice for my staying and although I've contacted the site several times and it's been three weeks I still couldn't get my money back
I like the location and the beach area. The room had big stains on the carpet & it was not well maintained or cleaned.
Location is perfect for experiencing all that South Beach has to offer; staff was fantastic and very accommodating; food was very good; The way of the travel world now appears to be to charge little bits (or more) for every little thing, this was no exception.
The first night was a disaster. At about 5:45 p.m. I called down to report a loud fan/ motor annoying noise. They said they would send someone up. We left about 20 minutes later for a dinner reservation.When we came back later that evening it was late nothing had changed. we were to tied to do anything so we tried to go to bed. Sleep did not come for either of us easily and we were up a good part of the night. The next day I complained and the girl offered us a $50.00 credit and would move us down from the top floor in the same proximity. the noise was probably from the motors on the roof. Looking out after agreeing I saw all the fans from the building next door so I called back and said it was not acceptable. I was turned over to the Rooms manager (Emily) who was excellent we were moved closer to the front of the building, no noise good sleep a Ritz Carlton experience. First day terrible second day great. Kelly at check in, superb. Ziggy, beach manager above and beyond. The beautiful lady who delivered room service at 1 AM and serenaded my daughter with a lovely Happy Birthday. All the staff were friendly, and excellent! The lobby decor. Also, no coffee shop.
Proximity to beach and Lincoln Mall. Our room was right off the pool which was super convenient. Front desk staff couldn't have been nicer especially when I disputed some charges at checkout out. The facilities need maintenance. Particularly the pool area. Broken tiles and the bottom of the pool was chopping off in at least one large area. The bathroom also could use some maintenance. The vanity top had a chopper out of it and theme leftist was rusting in areas.
Every staff member said hello to me. Staff was very friendly The Spa experience was ok, Massage for a deep tissue was weak. The Sauna was not on, I turned it on but should be preheated for guests or what good is it. For $440 for 2 - 50 minutes massages I expect more.
Location, layout Drilling & hammers right by my room at 7a. I can understand 10a. For those from Ca this means it started at 4a Partying, LOUD rap music , yelling from balcony on my floor. I complained and NOTHING was done
Pool area was beautiful, and open 24 hours! Love how the hotel was right next to the beach. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Price of food and drinks at the pool / beach was expensive, but it was what I expected when booking the hotel. Beach chairs were included in the resort fee, which was nice, but the fee didn't include a beach umbrella with the chairs...the umbrella was an extra $25 for the day (and we absolutely needed the umbrella because it was so hot outside).

the hotel amenities were fine, meals were good not exceptional. pool is nice as is beach access. i don't recommend for a vacation setting. hotel is very large, busy - not relaxing for a couple. Lacked the intimacy and romantic touches of other hotels catering to vacationers vs. business.
It's a nice hotel, nice location, clean, nice staff, nice beachfront We stayed there for a week and we didn't like: - Noisy, music everywhere, very loud, not smooth nor relaxing - noisy guests that staff did not stop, in my case, people came to the lounge with their own speakers - noisy rooms, better get out early, before 9 am or housekeepers will let you know you are lazy - fees for everything, it's ok to pay for additionals, but resort fee is not worth it (and it's a hidden cost), valet excessive, fees for receiving packages is expensive. I would recommend to bundle better tariffs and consider flat fees or caped fees for those who stay several days. After the second day, we ended trying to avoid every reason to stay in the hotel during the day. In particular, we avoided the pool, only one time tried to spend the morning there but could not resist the music of the hotel and the personal music of some guests.

I am a former Miami citizen and so I am picky and savvy. The Royal Palm is simply beautiful. The furniture, flooring, light fixtures, landscaping, are well designed and maintained. My room was clean, chic, had an amazing view. Bathroom was modern and lovely. Bed and sheets were comfortable. Your stay includes beach chairs and towels and service (cocktails and food) at your chair. I felt like a queen and was treated exceptionally well by the staff at the beach. I accidentally left my grandmother's ring in my room after checkout and the bellhop mobilized the housekeeping staff to look for and find it. I am so grateful! And whoever is running this place is doing all the important things right. I am a frequent traveler and will DEFINITELY be returning to the Royal Palm Resort. Oh, and you can't beat the location... I requested a late checkout, as I was unsure when I would be done with my meetings, and the gentleman at the front desk smirked and laughed at my request, which I did not appreciate. I do not fault the Royal Palm for this I still feel, despite this individual, I had an amazing experience and I will definitely return.
My wife and I booked this hotel through Kayak's partner Getaroom in late October. The South Beach hotels were generally booked for New Years Eve, so we were happy to have a confirmed reservation. When we arrived at the hotel in New Years Eve, we were told by the front desk staff member that it reservation didn't exist. We looked up or confirmation and confirmed that we had prepaid via credit card. The hotel staff did they could not honor our reservation as they had no rooms available and they take no responsibility for mistakes made by third party booking agencies. They recommended we try elsewhere, so my wife called other hotels and I ran around trying to find a room. We called Getaroom three times and we put in endless hold each time as they struggled with the same problem. They finally found the glitch which turned out to be a misspelling of our last name as "Wppd" instead of "Wood." No apology from the hotel or Getaroom for two hours of frantic searching for another hotel. The hotel itself was nice but lacking in staffing and amenities. Cleanliness was OK. The pool and hot tub were overrun by kids and postadolecents. Location was amazing and we were able to walk to New Years Eve celebrations in South Beach.

(Imagine walking into a room that looks like a rock band had just partied there. We were speechless.) The Bellhop did not give us a claim tag for our luggage we dropped off so we had to go identify it in the storage room and the bellhop had the nerve to ask for a tip after. There was a significant amount of blood on the walls between the doors of our room and the room next door (how can you miss that? who is looking over this place??)
The hotel had direct beach access, and close to great outdoor shopping, and was a very good value for the money. The staff was friendly and attentive It seemed a little run down, but that was in character for a hotel that was as old as this.

They tried to downgrade us on the first night (the room was already paid for), and also offered us to sleep at an other hotel on the first night because our room was not available. Not accessible. Swimming pool area: Bathroom at the pool could be the bathroom of a 2 star hotel, and there are no indoor shower.

It's right on the beach! Housekeeping staff took my iPhone 6 charger and took the bottles of alcohol that I bought and placed in the fridge. They also took my razors. Also noticed that while they are on the floors cleaning they keep all of the doors open even if they have other people's property in them which makes it really easy for someone else to go in to your room and take your stuff.
Cheap renovations with premium cost of accommodation. Parking cost is unreasonable. Our first room had not been cleaned after the previous guests. We were switched to a worse/smaller room. There was no acoustic privacy.

View, No working shower, had to pay $45.00 to park my veichle the hotel! I mean are you kidding me, that's like going out to eat, and the paying the restraint to use their bathroom! Then I get up at 6am to get ready for my 8 am meeting, and the shower does not work!!! Unreal, sink was stopped up, bell hop watched me struggle down the stairs with my luggage. Terrible staff and service, if I wanted no service I would have stayed in a day's inn!!

Room was filthy hair every were left over definitely not mines!!!!/ Mildew in t bathroom.... Chipped paint, top sheet stinked, rooms old!!! I can complain all day abt that place especially t rude staff!!! Please don't waste your money on this hotel!!!! I read how rude t staff was but I always give people a chance boy was I wrong on this one!!!!!! Don't waste ur money!!
that they "upgraded" me to a room for my inconvenience. The upgraded room was a so shitty and out dated the bathroom with black and white tiles looked like a black and white checker board ,, the room looked haunted ,,, the toilet was running all night long ,,, you couldn't flush the toilet ,, and it was just not worth the money!!!!
I appreciated the staff upfront. The breakfast was great! The view was awesome. Due to me booking the room via a 3rd party website, I had to wait for a extended period of time to get my room. The front desk were doing everything they could to help me. In the room it was old. The TV didn't work and there were no towels in the room. So I had to go down stairs twice. The towels were old. After that it was ok. I would stay again. The old room is no fault of the staff.

My room wasn't ready they put me in a smaller room with a single king size bed, I was traveling with my wife and two kids. the next next day I had to check out spend the entire day outside until 4pm then they didn't bring me my bags until six pm. When I asked to speak and complain to the manager. He offered an insignificant resolution that still left us completely unsatisfied.

The convenience to the beach. Staff friendlyness and helpfulness. The price was very reasonable, the hotel structure and arts are beautiful. The hotel needs a renovation ASAP, the pool was extremely too small for the amount of people staying at the resort, they need to build more pools and perhaps a few hot tubs. The water front restaurant and bars needs renovation, cleanliness and more variety on drinks and food.
The nice and relaxing environment
We were fortunate enough to have a pool/ocean view room with a balcony. The view was gorgeous, especially in the mornings as the sun moved up. The room was small but well laid out so that it didn't feel small at all. The bathroom was well designed and appointed as was the closet. The staff was extremely friendly and although the service was somewhat continental.. we were on holiday and didn't mind things taking a bit more time. The facility has beach access behind the pool so, you're never far from the water and sand. We are actually from Miami and were looking to get a change of venue for Thanksgiving and this was ideal. Nothing really.. I suppose that it would have been nice to have in room coffee, but that's a WPP.

The hotel is located right on the beach with an amazing swimming pool too. Because it has just been refurbished everything was NEW. With in a short walk to Lincoln for fabulous shopping and food. Parking was $60 per 24 hours.You can park and the Miami garage across the street for $35. We have a strange smell in our room at times.

Completely disorganized. Awful service. Food and pool servers are COMPLETELY oblivious to anything. Fish sandwhich had maybe less than an ounce of fish for $25. Pool servers looking to gouge you charging for water, & upselling over priced cocktails. You're lucky if the food ever comes. Room was Nice and clean however. They wouldn't let me check in till 4pm despite me being there at 10AM and asking for early check in. Then, they locked me out at 12noon sharp and refused any sort of leeway at all. Avoid! Completely apathetic staff, disorganized and chaotic dining area. No one really in charge. Despite multiple attempts to speak to the manager, the mgr never came. I'd rather burn my money or throw it away than give it to an establishment such as this.

My stay at Thompson was very satisfactory. Everybody smiled and greeted us everywhere without making us uncomfortable or being too friendly. It was a quiet and relaxing stay that I very much anticipated, and I was glad that I chose Thompson for my first visit to Miami Beach! Some items in the fridge were gone, which I happened to find out while using it to store some food, but it was immediately taken care of as soon as we called the front desk to notify it. All in all, great experience!

The room was nice and clean. The people were friendly. The pools were nice. The beach was great. Room: We had requested an ocean view room with a patio. We were not given any options. The room# was 534. It was on the side of the building facing west so our main view was the hotel rooms on the other side. There was just a sliver of ocean view. If I were to go again I would insist on a room facing East and much higher up. Noise: Music from the restaurant was loud and started at 10:00 p.m. and continued until 4:30 in the morning. Extra Charges: There was a $150 charge extra per night which will be allegedly refunded. the parking was $40 per night. The taxes are a killer.So for two nights at a quoted rate of $260 per night, instead of being $520 turned out to be $729.
It was new The hotel hosted an event at the pool all day Saturday which meant it was closed to hotel guests. Relaxing and drinking poolside was not an option but one we had counted on and paid for. Management should have mentioned the event when our reservations were booked, alerted us at check-in or made an appropriate accommodation. We expected better.
Pool and beach are the best part of this hotel. Rooms facing Collins are loud. Traffic noise is awful.
Staff was upbeat,sincerely friendly at every encounter,made for a pleasant stay! Short staffed at breakfast,and lunch,no interest in trying dinner,menus bland, quality subpar,kitchen glitches everyday,restaurant is weakest link in the hotel.
Beach was lovely, Concierge staff assigned was great. Unbelievable noise until 4am from poolside club. Cleaning of room was mediocre. Pool very crowded during day.

The was excellent, especially the pool staff, Joe was excellent. Check in was a breeze and we were upgraded to a king suite. The location is great and quiet/peaceful. Was charged for two luxury beach chairs when we had two local friends join us for about and hour at the beach. The hotel could pay more attention to the cleanliness of the pools and common areas. Small details matter and considering the size of the hotel it would not be difficult to keep spotless.
The hotel was beautiful. The grounds lovely and the complimentary chair massage a plus. I didn't like the 19 dollar daily fee tacked on to your bill.
It was quiet & tranquil. Enjoyed watching the few wedding ceremonies. Hotel staff cordial & efficient. Breakfast by the pool was enjoyable. Size of hotel just right cozy & understated rooms were comfortable we had small size rooms when we arrived & when we requested larger rooms they accommodated us. Would recommended to our friends. Cannot recall that there was anything we did not like about the service or the hotel.

Nice place with excellent happy hour. Front desk service was very poor, I was kept waiting at time of my check-out while the front desk manager( never acknowledging my presence) was talking to a couple at great length about the best restaurants in town and other possible points of interest, all the while the concierge sitting at her desk directly behind us had nothing to do, finally after about ten minutes another front desk manager came out to assist me. I also did not like the $19 " hotel fee" for pool towels I did not ask for or use! When I politely asked to have the charge removed I was gruffly told "No". All the above left a bad taste in my mouth as I departed on what otherwise was an overall positive experience.
Room's view was gorgeous. Tiki bar and pool were hopping and service was attentive. Beds were fulls and not queens so me, my wife and daughter were cramped. We were told facilities and services were 24 hours but pool area was a dark ghost town after 9 pm while neighboring hotels were jumping. $37 a day for parking was very high.
My stay at the Palms Resort felt like being in paradise! All services and facilities were exceptional. The check in [front desk] staff was not the friendliest. The staff person told me that my reservations were made by HotelBeds and that the room preference was not guaranteed when reservations were made through 3rd party sites. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that the person was on a short break. The manager never spoke to me, however I was given the double room per the reservation.
I adored the pool and beach area.... Just spectacular! Very relaxing! The rooms were nice. However, the first room they put us in smelled of mildew. Then they said they didn't have any other rooms to move is to. When I started freaking out, they found us a new room that was much better. Everything else was amazing! Great spa! Overall I would stay again!
Close to the beach and spa is nice. The rooms are cramped but nicely furnished. I am an experienced business and leisure traveler. I've stayed at over 250 hotels all over the world and I have never experienced such poor customer service from the front lobby employees. They seemed to purposely not want to accommodate any request. I would never want to stay here again even though I liked other aspects of the hotel.

We loved the pool and beach access at the hotel. The outside staff was amazing and super helpful. The $19 a day charge for pool/beach service was WELL worth the money spent. The first 2 rooms they tried to put us in were IN the stairwell. We read reviews that the hotel will put people in those rooms. It was VERY frustrating but they did end up moving us to a normal room on the 3rd trip down to the front desk.

Amazing infinity pool. Hotel is on the Beautiful beach with two chairs and towels included per room. Hard to sleep due to people partying. Good part the hotel doesn't tolerate . Security is ready to help.
Great location, architecture, and a clean room. The beach out back was beautiful and servers at the bar out back were great. There was a party there that didn't stop until 1am. Carpet wasn't laid correctly and had many humps to trip you up sometimes. Bed was on a wooden box frame with sharp corners that stuck out far enough to leave a few marks on your shins.
We had a great stay till the end when they overcharged my card and a week later they are still holding the money. Jessica the Reservations Manager is rude and unprofessional. Very pricey and on top of that they hold over $400 you never spent on your card..RIDICULOUS!

Nothing Air broke 2 nights terrible service terrible crowd and the TV was broken my whole stay. Everyday is have to complain about it and nothing was done. When I asked for at least a night or 2 free because of the inconvenience I was denied
I loved the exceptional customer service, Natalya was amazing. Customer service makes or breaks a vacation and the national definitely made it. Didn't like that our room was on the stairway but it worked out because we had loud music and we didn't disturb the neighbors.

Older hotel has been nicely renovated. Staff inattentive, service poor. Called for the car from valet, requesting to be notified when it was available. After waiting nearly an hour, went to front desk and discovered the car had been waiting for 20 minutes. Specifically asked at check-in if resort charge would be added to bill, and was told no, it was included in pre-paid reservation. In spite of this assurance, chage was added at check out. Front desk can not provide itemized charges on folio at check out, only give a total charge. Food in restaurant was OK, but service poor. Waited 10 minutes for coffee on Saturday morning, and were told our server was "in the bathroom". WAY more information than I needed. Used glasses in room were not replaced during our stay. Ovewrall, VERY dissapointing.

I liked everything about this place. It's very clean, the location is just across the road from the beach and the staff were all very nice.
A friend and I came to Hotel Croydon for an extended girls weekend and to run the Miami Half Marathon. It was such a great experience! The staff is friendly, the rooms are gorgeous, and the beach access is so convenient. We booked through Kayak which saved us some money - it was such a great value. I highly recommend this hotel for couples, friends, and families. One thing to take note of... the hotel shuttle came to the airport to pick us up on the hour. This is an automatic thing - they come every hour on the hour. However, when you're using the shuttle to come back to airport you MUST schedule first with the front desk. We found out the hard way that it wasn't an automatic pick up and had to jump in a cab very quickly.
Overall positive experience with quality of the rooms, restaurant, housekeeping and staff attitudes Front desk definitively provided erroneous information regarding the shuttle to the airport forcing us to pay for transportation that was supposed to be included; staff seemed to have different awareness of hotel policies leading us to believe training is inadequate
I like it when I received my car after 50 minutes so that I could get to my meeting. I liked it when I left the unapologetic staff who just shrugged when I wonder why my car hadn't arrived after I had properly followed their recommendation that I call 25 minutes early to get my car...it took 50. I liked it when I left the counter at check out after explaining that my linen STUNK of BLEACH . I COULD BARELY SLEEP THE STENCH OF BLEACH ON ALL OF THE LINEN WAS SO STRONG. I FOLLOWED THE RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE OF CALLING 25 MINUTES EARLY TO GET MY CAR AT CHECK OUT. IT TOOK 50 TO ARRIVE AND I ALMOST MISSED MY MEETING. THE ROOM WAS SMALL, OVER PRICED NO VANITY NOT EVEN A LUGGAGE RACK AND THOSE IRRITATING WIRE HANGGERS YOU CAN REMOVE WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO HANG CLOTHES, IN THIS CASE WHILE WEDGED IN THE CORNER OF THIS TINY $500 ROOM. THE LOCATION WAS PROPOSED AS NORMALLY COSTING $1000 PER NIGHT. I ONLY CHOSE IT BECAUSE OF PROXIMITY TO A MEETING. THE LOBBY WAS EQYAL TO A POOR QUALITY HIGHWAY MOTEL.

My wife and I were able to celebrate our anniversary in warm sunny Miami. I booked the hotel on Kayak.com due to the good reviews and value. We were not disappointed. The room was very clean and decorated so well. The accommodations were outstanding. The Tavern restaurant was amazing, we ate there twice. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I'd reccomend this place to anyone wanting a great experience with close proximity to the beach. The thermostat didn't seem to work. We finally figured out that we had to continuously turn on the fan to cool the room because it was set to 80. maybe it's a Miami thing to have warm rooms but we're from Ohio where we keep our summer thermostat around 65.

Room was very large - that is very hard to come by in Miami Beach! Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. No Staff by the pool had to run around to find towels. Called 3 times to get sheets changed, the final time I called they said the cleaning people had left ... so that was annoying.
Very friendly staff, beautiful pool. Our first room was very dirty and second room (which was an upgrade) was still not great. Couches were stained, dirty sheets, bathtub and bathrobes. pool bar is expensive.
Stylish, nice sunset panaroma Very arrogant and not really competent staff; thanks for getting the 3th (lowest!) floor out of 17 floors even after asking especially for a high floor room in the reservation ("no chance, but the tower suit is still available with a little rate change from 445,- to 3.500,-"); everything in the hotel is completely overpriced: restaurant, poolbar, parking, even the internet has to be paid (ridiculous!) and so on...
We loved the location, the view from the pool area - sunsets were amazing. Loved the unusual, different decor of the hotel; staff was very friendly. Check in was a big disorganized but still ok. Biggest complaint was the high price of the room that included basically just the room. Additional $40/night for parking; additional 'resort fee' which we have yet to figure out what that covered as the only 'resort feature' was the pool and most hotels include that in their overall room fee. We had a king suite and it had a full kitchen; however, you had to RENT dishes and utensils and even dish towels. That is unheard of in my opinion. Any hotel I have ever stayed in that provided a kitchen also provided basic plates/utensils/dish towels. LOVELY hotel but overpriced for sure.

Booked a Bayview Studio, for a family of four (2 kids). Excellent views to downtown Miami and the Bay. Very spacious room, with interesting decor. Excellent restaurant, fusion of of Cuban with Asiatic cuisine. Very good pool area, too (swimming pool heated). Very friendly personnel in the restaurant and the reception, as well as the housekeeping staff. Ideal place to get the relaxing and glamorous atmosphere of the city. The room's door was poorly isolated, therefore there were some noises coming from the corridor (we stayed at the hotel at a weekend with parties organized each evening/night). Parking is exclusively valet (charging an quite high daily rate), with little choices for alternative parking around. The minibar is a kind of a mini-in-room-shop (selling T-shirts, souvenirs, toiletry, etc.). No free WiFi.
Wonderful posh luxurious hotel in south beach Miami. lovely pool with around the clock bar service. welcoming staff ,everything is ready for you to enjoy your stay. we left few things during a quick check out ,they sent them back to us ASAP. 1- painfully there is not even a penny complementary stuff you need to pay for even a glass of water!2- No information regarding the inside USA calls (they call it long distance calls and the price kills! even if you call someone in next door state)

Great hotel to spend some days to relax and be quiet. We came just one day after a 1-week trip to ny and it was great to rest a little. Baby friendly also. Great sunsets at the pool.
Renovations were taking place during my stay. It was extremely loud. Difficult to enjoy my room or time at the pool.

Eden Roc's resort is nice. The private beach and pools are the best part of the hotel. Cabana restaurant was also good - but, they don't serve brunch and stop serving breakfast at 11am (a little early if you're on vacation). The food is a bit over priced as well. It's a good place to bring your family. DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. WAIT UNTIL THEYVE FINISHED RENOVATING. The majority of the hotel is under construction. The entire lobby is closed off with white curtains due to the construction, leaving only the elevators and front desk assessable. The set-up makes the hotel dark and depressing. The decor is outdated. The staff at the front desk was not friendly at all. Most of all, the rooms in the main tower are NOT what you will expect them in a resort. We stayed in a deluxe king room and it was tiny! The view was terrible! If you're going to stay here you have to stay in the ocean view tower and don't be afraid to pay for the best rooms available: only then will your stay be worth your buck.

Overall very good experience. Excellent location and service. Rooms are clean. Spa was lovely. Upper pool is under construction and spa pool in bad need of renovation. The beach facing bar/ restuarant will also be a huge amenity when open (in the spring?) but I missed having a second food option onsite and ended up going next door.
Staff was very friendly, courteous and accomodating, food and drinks were delicious. The beds were so comfortable that I did not want to get up. The convenient access to the beach was great, as well as the beach chair amenity, twas welcomed! Due to the inconveniences my sister, cousins and I were given complimentary tickets for drinks and breakfast. Some staff were not truthful when faced with conflicting situations, which led to a lot of unwanted and unnessary aggravation, and wasted time. A lot of renovation was, and still is taking place, which also added to 2 of 4 elevators being unaccessible. Thus waiting for the elevator was a task. And getting on the elevator was another task, then getting to your room or the lobby was another task in itself. Had I known about the renovation that I was not told about, I would have booked another hotel. The room was not a replica of the luxurious room that was pictured. The refrigerator was not working, thank God I did not have my kids with me.

The valet and restaurants service was ok. It was dated. The sheets in the bed were torn up. The phone was dirty. The fridge was broken (found out about that after 200 in good spoiled ). There was some woman that I could only say was a pimp yelling and cursing on her cell phone. When we asked if she could be removed they told us that she brings them a lot of business and is there all of the time. The elevator was old and their food was disgusting. I would never even walk through that place again even after they renovate

The room's view of the ocean! Wow! The room's layout - bed, space, yuge bathroom, closets, room safe, fridge... perfect. The parking valet, bell staff and counter staff were on their game and made our entrance and getaway as easy as it can be. We will be back! Thanks Eden Roc.
We were in town for a long weekend and had an amazing time at the resort. The beach, the spa, the service all five stars. Since every room has a kitchen, the grocery store across the street makes it so convenient. Taking an Uber down to Miami Beach takes 15 minutes so you have the best of everything. Definitely staying there again next trip to Miami. I wish the pool stayed open later but with the ocean right there no worries. Then again none of the hotels pools stay open past dusk, at least on the strip.
There were lots of fitness classes to choose from and the spa area itself was really nice. We ate the breakfast buffet which was good with lots of healthy choices like salmon and capers and steel cut oatmeal. The location on the beach was wonderful. We have stayed at many luxury resorts which were less $ and this one just didn't meet up with those standards. Staff was good but not great. Rooms were nice but not fabulous, you get the picture.... You are really paying a lot for the spa /fitness classes and since that wasn't our main purpose we only took one class so didn't take advantage of this. We did have a massage which was a lot more money than other 5 star hotels we've stayed at, but was good.
