Nothing We booked our stay 8 months ago when we arrived at 11 pm we called to tell them we would be late we even payed a Peabody hotel town car to pick us up at a train we were told they did not have our room we had all are needed info from our booking 3 people checked in beside us while we waited 20 minutes to talk to manager we were called to back room and treated like we did something wrong one person in lobby even said wonder what they did manager was rude and over bearing tried to tell us we were rude because we did not want to go to another hotel but we had to it was 11 pm we found out from desk clerk at this hotel that the Peabody has a common habit of over booking and sending us away with 8 month ahead booking the people who got rooms at same time we checked in were part of a group shame on you Peabody for your treatment of guest! What makes it worse is you do it all the time
We were there during the holiday season & the lobby was so beautifully decorated with a huge Christmas tree, gingerbread village, & holiday singers. The room was very quiet, clean, comfortable. The bathroom however is TINY. You literally have to straddle the toilet to use the makeup mirror. The staff was super friendly. The sit down restaurant off the lobby was absolutely delicious & very reasonably priced. My only disappointment was that I had made my reservations months ago & others in our party who had made reservations directly with the hotel last minute, got a holiday deal which was much cheaper & included breakfast.
The staff at check in were wonderful. I was told during check in that breakfast was included in the rate and when I checked out I was charged. When questioning the charge the young lad behind the counter started arguing with me and blaming the charge on using a third party and was condescending.
Clean, great location and really enjoyed the personality of the staff and the property. One of a kind.
Every single staff member was informed, diligent, kind and respectful. They all went out of their way to make out stay amazing! Loved everything!!
Very central and convenient location - many historical sites, restaurants and bars walkable from the hotel Awful service all around - room service, cleaning staff, lobby bar, etc. All provided VERY slow service (i.e., did not turn over our room until almost 8pm at night, never provided clean towels despite calling twice, room service took almost 2 hours despite being told it would be less than an hour). Repeatedly told incorrect or wrong information (i.e., asked about where to buy a tshirt that we saw in a case in the lobby and was told the store doesn't exist, even though it's around the corner from the hotel, was told check out was 11am but it's 12pm)
The hotel was very clean and in an excellent location. My husband and I went to Beale Street and had a lot of fun. The people at the Peabody hotel in Memphis were extremely nice. We will definately come again. I enjoyed the hearing the history of the ducks and loved seeing them walk down the red carpet. I give y'all excellent ratings. Thanks for a wonderful stay! I had nothing bad to comment on the Peabody Hotel in Memphis.
Great location. I remember going to the Peabody with my grandparents when I was a child and it's a classic. Loved motion sensor lights below the bedside tables to help direct me at night. Nice room, in general. I attempted to check in at 3:15. First, there was no record of my stay for that night . . . they had me booked for Sunday instead of Saturday. This may not be the hotel's fault. The staff was nice and they fixed it, but then I had to wait THREE hours to get in my room. I had somewhere to be, so this involved leaving my luggage on a cart in the hotel and hoping for the best. I was pretty miffed. I complained when I was in the lobby bar getting a drink, though, and the nice server (manager?) took care of my bar tab, so that was nice. Apparently it was an overbooked weekend. It was definitely chaotic.
Traditional rooms and bathrooms are very small for the price paid...

I did not like the ( service fee ) I was charged . I know that where ever we go, I will ask about this hidden fee & if they have this fee I will not tip any of the help due to the fact I'm already paying it with the xtra fee their employer charged me
Our room was on the 10th floor, on the Mississippi River side of the hotel, so we have an absolutely FABULOUS view of the sunset on the river. It was phenomenal. We were celebrating my mother's 80th birthday. Everything at the hotel and all the employees with whom we came in contact at the hotel were wonderful. It was a perfect weekend.
Staff was extremely friendly, view was fantastic! Didn't do my research was expecting a pool and hot tub
The beds are so comfortable. Pay extra for.parking.
the rooms were clean and comfy We paid for a room with a King size bed for my husband and I and were given a room with 2 full size beds. We were not happy at all. This was our first time to book through Kayak and we were not happy when the lady at the front desk informed us that when we book through a 3rd party, that the room we book was considered a "suggestion"

It's a shame. The hotel is really nice, but the lightbulbs they've chosen to put in the rooms make them feel like a morgue. The CFLs put out this nasty blue light that is unsettling. Bad lighting choice! My other gripe was the fact that I got what's called a luxurious tub included with my room. Turns out it's just a run-of-the-mill tub you find in any cheap hotel. . .
I expected to be disappointed. But I was pleasantly surprised and this was a clean convenient hotel at an affordable price. I will come back Not many amenities
Close to Beale Street. 7 minute walk. Not outrageously over priced. I would stay again. Very small double bed room. Carpet was stained in several places. Bathroom needed a deep cleaning.
Only good thing was the location Door dead bolt handle missing, also door didn't seal when closed. Toilet handle was broken, bathroom light fixture was burned out, mildew on the shower curtain, lamp missing a light bulb, dirt in the corners of bath room and on the door. The pool water was green.

The location was great - within walking distance of many things to do in Memphis. The concierge at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. Shower pressure was good, and beds were comfy. Not a lot of tv channels (not that you should be watching tv on a vacation!), and it smelled a little weird (like all hotels).

Nothing. Lights in bathroom did not work. Requested them to fix or another room. They refused. Room smelt moldy and smoke. Carpets were dirty with animal hair. Asked for refund. They couldn't do anything about it since I booked thru your office. Contacted your office and received NO service from operator. Still waiting for some type of response. NOTHING. Ended up booking another room on my own at different hotel since I could not get any help from your office. This will be the last time I use your service and will be proud to inform my family and friends.
Very Clean, great location, free internet access & complimentary breakfast were the highlights. It's wasn't so much the hotel's fault but the taxes were rediculous which I assume would be the same in all hotels in the area. Slugged 2 sets of taxes which amounted to over $25 a night.
Great location, good facilities & professional, helpful staff. Room was good sized and bed was comfy. Large bathroom was a definite plus. The breakfast selection could be a little better. Missed cold cuts. The hotel staff didn't notice my reservation request for a room in upper floor.
My Parents and I stayed here for one week and we absolutely loved it!!...There is nothing negative in my opinion,fantastic location beautiful rooms/view and Hotel staff always greeted you with a smile.I Would recommend this Hotel to anyone. Room was great, right near the Baseball and Basketball stadiums, many attractions literally 2 mins away, like Beale St. Complimentry breakfast was even pretty good. Bit noisy because its so close to Beale St, but thats what you get for staying in your hotel instead of being at Beale St enjoying yourself!

I enjoyed the location; right next to Beale Street The breakfast was aweful. Powdered eggs. If you enjoy cereal and milk or toast or waffles you are fine.
Mattress and linen was amazing! Best night's sleep I've had in a while! Getting in to valet park was a little crowded and had to wait but well worth the wait!

The central location was nice, although it had its downsides. The staff was friendly. The location near Beal Street and across from Autozone Park meant that there was hardly a quiet moment during the night. The noisy drunk folks were not only outside making noise in the streets, but also inside the hotel. I asked for earplugs around 1am, but the hotel provided me with cheap headphones instead. If you stay here and would like to sleep, I'd recommend asking for a room away from the street.
The location, the room was clean. The room was humid, also bathroom ceiling was peeling and had slight water damage. Items in room (lamps, etc), seemed to be placed there and didn't really have a function (lamp missing bulb, only obe night stand, etc). Also the decor and color choices made the room feel dated and unwelcoming.
Staff was friendly and proximity to Beale was great Room was small. Every movement on the bed sounded like you were jumping on it.
The closet space in the room could be reconstructed to be more useful to the room.
There was a bed to sleep in. Room was kinda shabby to be on a Hilton Honors floor. Had to push very hard to get the bathroom door to latch. You could see through the thinly brushed coat of paint to see the previous color. Had to pay $25 a day for valet parking, I was told there was easy access on premises to my vehicle when I called to check and when we got there the parking was a block away, so going to the car to unload it after it being parked was not possible. I had to pay for valet but I had to go pick up my own car cause the valet there to retrieve your car couldn't drive a stick-shift, did I mention I had to PAY $25 A DAY WHEN I WAS DOING HALF OF SOMEONES JOB THAT I AM PAYING FOR THEM TO DO. Coffee was $10 a pot, and was for crap coffee. Breakfast offered was expensive but cheap food was used and tasted like government rations. I will never stay at a Hilton Hotel again unless its the only option.
The price was reasonable, overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. There is a Friday's restaurant inside which makes for a nice option. The pool is small but clean and adequate. The front desk people were very helpful. The bathtub drain was clogged and slow to drain so one ended standing in quite a bit of sudsy water when showering. I did let them know at checkout; hopefully they fixed it for the next guests.

Friendly staff, accommodating, great customer service!! Cleanliness of rooms needs improvement, and bathrooms need a bit remodeling. Bathtub tile was dirty and old, fixtures were old, paint on door was peeling off.
I was on the 10th floor by the elevators and heard compressor noises all night long - horrible.
I did not stay in this hotel because when I called the Doubletree on Oct 14, I was told I did not have a reservation and I never had one. I can only assume that the entire process was some sort of SCAM and i will NEVER use your service again. I have filed a complaint with American Express and I will make certain ALL of my friends know about this SCAM.
Near to all attractions. Walkable to beal street. Very Clean and safe area. Hotel spotless clean. Very nice clerks on front desk. Hospitality gathering in the evening with free wine, beer and soft drinks and a food variety (very tasty). Spacious rooms with fully equiped kitchen. Would recommend this hotel to everybody
Good value. Close to where we needed to be. Very courteous staff. Nice breakfast layout.
