Very good location, personnel very friendly and helpful (with good English), wonderful atmosphere All was really good
Excellent amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff Signage to get there not very visible
It was within walking distance of most of Marrakech's attractions They could have better directions on how to find them, it took 45 minutes on foot with luggage and the help of some very kind locals to find them.
Very good location, very close to the medina square. Staff was excellent. the room was very small with no tv
Quiet, excellent staff, good attention to detail, lovely roof terraces, central location Shower too small, toilet difficult to stand up at
The staff was really nice and welcoming. Provided us with a lot of Information about the area and what to see. The room was really nice and we had 2 entrances, one of them leading to the rooftop terrace. safe was simple to operate. Excellent location and easy to get back to the riad without getting lost. The bathroom was a bit small. The room size was perfect although getting around the edge of the bed was tight but it wasn't that bad. the breakfast was a definite miss. We didn't enjoy much of it. Maybe if we went down earlier, it would have tasted fresher or just better. Or maybe not
Very good ++++++++++++
The manager came to meet us outside the medina and showed us where to park our car, very helpful! Our room was ready, nice and very well cared of (rose petals on our beds and bottled water on the night-stand). They prepared for us a very nice dinner on the terrace, candlelight and everything to make it unforgettable...
the location in the historical part of Marrakech and the atmosphere of the traditional old house in the hotel
The tranquility of the hotel, swimming pool and central location The attitude of the staff and lack of organisation/speed of serving customers
We could relax in a patio. The staff had hospitality.
Traditional decor but luxurious everything was wonderful
Great location. This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel. We have enjoyed our stay each time. The rooms are excellant, breakfast very good, ample choice from the buffet. Would strongly recommend.
Excellent Spa facility, very helpful staff @ front office, housekeeping & spa. Food @ the Moroccon restaurant was super. The service and food at the Indian Restaurant was of poor quality.
The Cocktail bar was super, the Indian/Thai restaurant was poor and the staff were very inexperienced in that restaurant. The rest of the Hotel was enjoyable. The food was of a poor standard we ate out as a result, which was a pain and an inconvenience, the breakfast was not of the normal hotel standard.
Everything. The location, just metres from the square. The tranquility of the hotel. Superb breakfast. The heated rooftop pool. The four excellant restaurants.Fantastic 5 star hotel. NONE
The facilities of the hotel and its surroundings, on one side, and the comfort of the room on the other side. We checked out at 9.30 Pm, upon our arrival from the desert and were told that in the following day it would be possible to extend our stay in the room, until leaving to the AirPort (later in the afternoon), but we would have to confirm it with reception after breakfast. We have done so, but were told that a group was entering and so we had to leave at 12am. They new that beforehand so they could have given us another room... We actually didn't have time to enjoy the hotel at all (and we were on an expensive room, at least among our 5 nights stay in Marrakesh and surroundings)).
The hotel is exceptionally well located to the old city attractions and the rooms are generous in size. Service could have been better.
The staff was disorganized and dishonest. They strung us along for several hours about attempts to fix the AC in our room only to finally admit there was no AC in the hotel in February (despite being a warm and muggy night) after we confronted them with the fact that every room had its windows open.
The hotel was like a palace and the room was amazing. The roof top indian restaurant was excellent and the hotel was in the centre so very near to all of the local attractions, perfect location.
Very luxurious decor, good service, great HD tv, good food. They were unable to change some Moroccan money for smaller denominations. They also charged the room using the current euro exchange rate despite our booking confirmation with booking.com stating that we would pay 897 euros for 3 nights plus 3.50 euros pppn tax. We were only overcharged around £20 but felt there was a principle at stake. We complained without success.
One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Truly recommended.
The staff was incredible. Hotel Employee were the most gracious of hosts, the food was wonderful. Dar Anika was a tranquil oasis in the midst of the chaos of the medina. It was wonderful to go out and explore, and then come back to such luxury a The only thing we found to complain about was that the meal portions were too generous! The food was so good we kept eating and eating!
This place is literally an oasis in the middle of the medina. My wife and I stayed in the deluxe suite and we absolutely loved our room. They serve amazing food all day but please make sure you eat on the terrace at night!! its amazong!! Walking to the riad at night is a little scary. The good thing is that the staff sends someone to meet you outside if you call ahead. Definitely not a make or break thing.
Great location a short walk from the medina. Very attentive and friendly staff. Very relaxing environment from the madness of the city. Nothing.
This place is just brilliant. Stayed 3 nights in a royal suite, room was enormous/beautiful. Staff are what make it though, couldnt be anymore helpful but never intrusive, the perfect balance. Breakfast is a feast, nothing less. Nice swimming pool. Perfectly situated for me, just 10/15 mins to souks/square and 5 mins the other way to hivernage bars etc. I could write so much more. The main reason I havent written this review for a week or two is that I thought I may have been getting a bit carried away after a lovely weekend away, however I still think its probably the nicest place I've ever stayed in. I encourage you to go.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday at The Red House . Excelled service and friendly attitude from the moment we entered. The rooms were from “1001 night” with balcony. Great breakfast and live music at dinner. Top rating from all of us..we defiantly coming back. Lack of water stream when using two showers
Great ambiance, very friendly staff, particularly receptionist Abdel and waiter Taha. We stayed in a royal suite with terrace. We are definitely planning to visit this hotel again.
The property is very beautiful and well maintained with wi-fi, daily newspaper, dvd's,library, swimming pool etc . Start the day with a good breakfast served by smiling Khalid and Kahah, enjoy highest service orientation from all staff and trustworthy recommendations by knowledgeable Abdel and smiling Adil for day trips with guides(fixed rates), upmarket location with several good ,reasonably priced cafe's/restaurants/lounge/club near by. 10 minutes walk from Jamal square. Safe to leave kids with the staff. 24 hours room service. We were upgraded on the 6th night from the Royal Suite to the magnificent Imperial suite. Courtesy airport pickup and drop by humble saddam look alike ! we hope to be back one day to play with Rania and Ghalli. We were not allowed to carry 'The Red House' back to UK with us !
Breakfast, the pool and our room were all very nice. The staff were quite friendly. The road noise was so loud, it was hard to relax fully although the pool and garden were very nice. The location wasn't that great and I wish we had stayed in the medina. Although the staff were very friendly they weren't rally very helpful e.g. when I asked about getting to the Atlas Mountains. Also the credit card machine didn't work so at 11pm we had to drive to another hotel to pay our bill.
We were made to feel welcome by the courteous staff from the moment we arrived, the Red House is small enough to give a very personal service whilst being a luxury hotel. 10 minutes stroll to the Jemaa El Fna confirmed that we had chosen an excellent location for our long weekend in Marrakech - we will return.
The best experience ever. Loved everything about this hotel .
Location & comfort
the staff there is really nice and they are trying to fulfill every wish u have, room was luxur. and big with nice terace(Royal Suite). The hotel is at a perfect place in hivernage district between old town(medina) and new town(Gueliz).u can reach all important sights in 15-20 min per pedes.breakfast was very good and u also get newspaper for free, clean and big bathroom, towel service for the pool diner was good and i am sure its one of the best restaurants in town but it is too expensive,be prefered to eat in cafes in gueliz(cool hotspots like keshmara, cafe 16,cafe extrablatt...)
The Red House features outstanding environment for a very pleasent stay in a wonderful city. Superb gardens, pool & decour. Rooms should offer either tea/coffee making facilities or provide complimentary tea/coffee. Shower pressure was generally very low & rooms could do with minor refurbishment
