Perfect location. Exceptional service. Clean rooms.
The Bluemont is a beautiful hotel with all of the amenities. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is exceptionally helpful. The room service from Cocobolo's is fabulous, and there's a Starbucks directly across the street. The breakfast was bland and typical of a Comfort Inn. I expected more from a luxury hotel. I stayed on the 4th floor, and all was well until Friday night when there was a group of sorority girls and their dates in the event space on the 5th floor. I heard loud footsteps and toilets flushing until 10pm and was told by the front desk that it is a "known building flaw". In addition, I saw groups of fraternity boys carrying cases of beer under their arms into rooms on my floor. When they returned from Aggieville after 2am I was awakened out of a sound sleep and kept awake by the noise coming from their rooms. The next morning my entire floor smelled like beer and vomit and the carpets in the hallways were trashed. I complained, and received no response from management. I won't stay here again on a weekend. The days I stayed during the week were quiet and lovely, but Friday night ruined the experience and I won't do it again.
Large rooms and the best free breakfast I have ever had. I would highly recommend staying here if you are planning on visiting Manhattan, KS.
Very pretty hotel. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was wonderful. The room we stayed in didn't have a bath tub, only a shower. This was fine for us, but wondering if there are rooms with tubs for when I travel with my children?
For what I paid it was a great value ($109+). Nice spacious clean rooms and friendly staff. Bed was a little soft for my tastes.
This hotel had literally just opened. The staff wanted everything to perfect and they did a fantastic job. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious. The included breakfast was wonderful with several hot choices and cinnamon rolls, etc. We enjoyed the vibe at the bar with several other guests and wish them the best in years to come. The whole experience was good and would go back in a moment. Only negative was a low wifi signal in our room but that can be tweaked.
There was a wonderful breakfast the following morning. Very fresh, a large variety of items, and it was in a clean environment. One of the queen size mattresses in our room, needed to be replaced. Not only did it squeak badly throughout the night, it dipped in the middle. Very uncomfortable to sleep on for my daughter.
The pool was clean as was the hot tube. It had a very nice setting. I felt very welcomed as I entered into the hotel. I will book again
fitness center and swimming pool
What i liked best about Four Points Hotel in Manhattan kansas was that the staff are friendly and the Hotel is very clean. The rooms are amazing, the bed was super comfortable and lets not forget about those pillows!!! Amazing.!!!!!! I slept like a baby.!
I very much appreciated the bottle of water that was complimentary inside the room when I checked in. It was just what I needed after a long drive.
The courtyard area worked well for visiting with friends while the kids swam. It was easy to get to and close to our destination. While it was very clean and remodeled nicely, it is an old hotel. The rooms were much smaller than modern rooms. It was hard to find our room the first time we entered the hotel from a side entrance. I would recommend this hotel to friends.
We stayed here with two kids and two dogs. Staff was friendly and helpful, facilities were in great shape, and our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was above average, and they offer games and movies for entertainment. There's also a park across the street. We would stay here again. It cost a little more than we wanted to spend, but it was still a good value.
Friendly and clean. The management gave us a free breakfast to correct a situation with another guest that was beyond their control which was nice.
convenient location - directly across from campus. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling over the beds, dust at least an inch thick in the drawers and cabinet that was suppose to house a refrigerator. Tiny bathroom and lots of construction noise in the mornings.

Clean comfortable room nope
Location was great. restaurant was very nice. Under construction but that was understandable and no big deal.
Staff was very polite and helpful. We had been put in a handicap room and they immediately switched our room and gave us a free breakfast for the inconvience. The bathroom toilet. Had to shake the handle to stop it from running.
The staff was courteous The restaurant closed at 10:00 pm and from 10:30 to 11:00 am.
Very comfortable bed, close to campus, free parking, helpful staff
Hotel was within walking distance from the event we participated in.
Bed was very comfortable The hotel was in the middle of renovations so areas were less than visually appealing. Also, additional paper or plastic cups would have been nice in the room. The room only had one very small chair.A larger chair would have been better for relaxation.
Liked the staff a lot - they were great and very helpful! The rooms are VERY small and the bathroom has no ventilation - so when you shower - you steam up the whole room. The heater/air conditioner was extremely loud and kept waking me up.The room smelled funny...
The staff Rooms where small and construction was going on
Parking was easy; not crowded so luggage cart easily available. Continental breakfast was good. Did not mind the 4 AM train at all; not that loud and grew up with trains. The only elevator was extremely slow opening up to the first floor. We worried we were stuck. The signs about after hours were confusing, directing us to the side doors, which were both locked. Not fun in freezing weather.
It was very near to the jobsite I worked at. It was clean and a good room to stay in. The Aldi grocery store is next door to the hotel. Very convenient. The elevator was slow.
Nothing My room was located right in front of the railroad tracks. Every time a train went by, my room started to shake. The heater shook when I turned it on. Bathroom tile was cracked. This should be a 1 star at best.
Average nothing great Elevator was scary
Bath tub was a whirlpool tub but the jets didn't work so we came the front desk and were moved at 9pm. Elevator got stuck on floors. Rooms smelled of smoke despite no smoking rules. Breakfast was not good.
Great service, bad hotel Dirty

price & location I got stuck in the elevator 2 times. After reporting to the front desk, they laughed and said that darn thing.....then stated that they knew. Someone came to check it 3 weeks ago but did not fix.FLIES & lady bugs all over in my room.No apology from staff
Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. Room was relatively clean. Pool and hot tub were not working (extremely disappointing to our small children) and the entire pool area looked to be in a state of disrepair. Train tracks are immediately behind the hotel and very loud.
Location A huge barking dog was in the room next to us. I called around 8 pm to let the front desk know. They said they would take care of it. The dog barked on and off til 2:30 am
Good mattress Reasonable price Furniture was inexpensive and very worn Railroad tracks 100 feet from the rear of the hotel; whole building shook when a train passed
Location was convenient. Near the mall and major roads. Older condition, needs an update.
Motel is using pictures from previous owner - it is rundown, filthy and the pool is covered with a make shift tarp. The owner is abrasive and tried to change the room rates at check in. The sign next to the desk said we only had 30 minutes to get a refund for the rooms which should have been our biggest clue. We hurried to check our rooms and pulled back the bedspread to find dirty sheets, bugs, floors not vacuumed, dirty footprints on the bathroom floor, filthy toilet seats, uncleaned sinks, towels that hadn't been washed - just refolded. Completely disgusting. All 3 rooms were exactly the same. We went back to the desk to demand our refund at which time the owner offered to show us to the 'nice rooms'. NO WAY. It was a major ordeal to get any money back - and he kept $30 cash on one of the rooms for a 're-cleaning' fee so he could pull the bedspread up and try to re-sell. I should also mention, he over charged me on one room and was supposed to refund me the $100 before charging me the correct amount. He did not. Not until we got the booking company involved and had all the rooms refunded. The owner of the Royal Inn is a snake in every way. The place should be shut down. It's not sanitary and the business practices are unethical.
