Location is very good and own parking a plus. The professional and helpful staff are the hotel's greatest asset. Although the ground floor public spaces are first rate the decor in the rooms and corridors is tired and needs a revamp. Old carpets in the lifts, corridors etc and tired bathroom fittings etc are not up to the price bracket for this hotel.
Conveinience for Lille Centre
the building. the surroundings. The dinner on Wednesday 1 August. The beds were very hard..Breakfast could have been much better.Dinner on Thursday 2 August was very poor indeed.
Great location, clean comfortable room and helpful staff and the bonus of a really good breakfast Bar closes at 11pm??
The bar with the pianist The view from the room - looked out on to roof. Asked to change but staff unaccommodating and unfriendly
- most rooms do not have air-con - internet access is very expensive - room service list is short - food is not good - takes forever to get served in the bar
Over priced, very disappointing. No air con in a room charging 150 Euros. not recommended, our room was a good size but very 'tired'. You even had to pay for the internet access in the reception area. I formed the opinion that this hotel wanted every penny from you. I would not recommend and I would not stay again.
Polite staff, very clean room Bathroom basic
Very comfortable hotel, relaxing and very appealing.
The building is beautiful and, for the Braderie weekend, quiet. The room was large and well situated within the building. Dining facilities were limited and, being Braderie weekend, overbooked. Perhaps we should have been warned about that. Also,in spite of advance booking through a "value for money" site, we were charged the highest room rate. I was not aware I was booking a suite, since it was called a superior ROOM! We did not need a suite and that was a waste of my money.
Vlakbij het centrum, de zoo, de citadel, de winkels, very good location! Everything was fine.
Remarkably quiet situation. Convenient access (even though we were stuck in the lift for half an hour one day!) Helpful reception staff Poor tv reception and choice of channels. Some guide as to directions from the hotel to restaurants and other places of interest Eg Jardin Vauban and Bois de Boulogne within walking distance would have been helpful.
It was clean, and very well equipped. Also quiet.
Good location, 15 minutes walking from old city center (Grand Place). The type of accommodation is pretty odd. The building is also a residential building, many rooms, also at ground level outside the building not pleasant to stay. Our room was inside the building, also with a window at alley level. Arrival in the garage is pretty easy but then there are not enough signs on how to exit the garage for the reception. No elevator from the garage, hard job with luggages
Facilities well thought out and provision of kitchen facilities a real bonus. The door to the bathroom needs maintenance as do some of the public areas, however, this did not detract from our enjoyment.
free internet, friendly staff and a kitchenette with a little freezer and a quiet location
Lack of an English channel on the TV. No kettle to boil water.
Ex-university accommodation, so spartan but clean and well refurbished. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments advertised as 2-bedroom are in fact a single room with a screen across.
all was fine. Helpfull personal, nice room
very clean and tidy. i arrived before check-in time, but the staff was so nice and gave me the key
