An excellent hotel with all facilities close to the town centre. No
spa, bar parking not included
nicely situated hotel, elegant and stylich, good breakfast and wonderful swimming pool
Historic surroundings, attentive and pleasant staff
It has a warm friendly atmosphere. The staff were very friendly & helpful .I found Jenny on front desk to be very helpful .The food was excellent .The location was good .Very near the main train station & old town square . The breakfast was very expensive but good.I feel if the reduced the price more guests would eat there.
Staff was very friendly, location was great and the spa was very nice.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Not a single service related "slip up." Very convenient location directly across the tram tracks from the edge of the old town (though surrounded by several currently deserted, dilapidated buildings). Also, 5 minute walk to the Leipzig Zoo. 5th floor room was large (two rooms) but felt a bit cramped given the sloped attic ceiling and small attic windows.
Everything was very good, but especially your reception is excellent. They are very helpfull I cannot find anything
great staff, nice atmosphere, perfectly located, really good breakfast
we liked the warm and spacious bathroom, and direct lift to the swimming pool with sauna; comfortable bed
Very modern decor
the view from the room nothing in particular
Good size room, bath, views, pleasant common areas gym, per the person running it, was not really a gym, more a pool with four machines lying about near it.
Comfort, style, central location and at the price you negotiated, good value. I've had a better breakfast.
friendly staff, beautiful rooms, very nice view; late check-out at 12h the restaurant is closed on sundays and saturdays; you have to pay extra for the swimming pool
Food was OK, silent and comfortable. It is extremely expensive for what was offered. Internet connection and the breakfast were very expensive. I could (and will next time) stay in a much cheaper hotel than Westin and still be satisfied.
Staff where very helpful, reception and bar as you walk in very impressive The bathroom in our room smelt of urin was never cleaned, as a resident did not like having to pay 16 euro a day to park in their car park
- Asked for hot water maker and had used coffee bag was still in it. - Needed to get out of parking lot after 20 min of check out. We were not told about this and had paid extra.
warm welcome, nice room
professional, modern atmosphere. everything was functioning well bed was much too hard. constant noise from facilities next door and above
beautiful room in the 5th floor
The road is VERY noisy and you can hear every single noise from the street. Last day when I went to eat the breakfast, as every morning, I was asked my room number to check if I had paid the buffet. I didnt like that.
The receptionist and breakfast staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast itself was great (wide range of choices and fresh). The room are nicely decorated and the shower is fantastic, we also appriciated that they have a safe in the room (free of charge). Fairly easy to find a parking spot nearby. The location is approx 8-10 min walk to the trainstation and an additional 5 min to town centre (and as a girl I would be careful walking alone in the evening on the way to the hotel from the station). The cleaning of our room betwen the days was not the best (no new towels, no new miniproducts, forgot to empty the trash etc ).
Internet access costs too much. Shower tub stays direct on the floor, without any basement
The staff were friendly, room was clean, only 20 minute walk to the centre of town Fairly basic ammenities, no bar / restaurant
cleanliness of the room, the furnitures
Comfortable rooms, good breakfast bufet Location of the building not very attractive on a road with deserted office buildings
the friendlyness of the satte no - terrific
new instalations localization
The staff was very good and nice, the location is perfect, may be less than 100 m from main station. Room was clean, breakfast was very good. Nothing
Good location and pleasant staff. Leipzig as a place is delightful, especially if you like parks and J S Bach and/or musical instruments and art. We enjoyed them all. It would be good to have the option of a 'continental' breakfast. We decided that the regular one was too much (even though it's similar elsewhere) and had a much lower cost one at the railway station.
Central location with regards to the train station and city. Friendly & helpful staff. Clean room and comfortable beds.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern and clean. The proximity to the train station was very convenient and it was not far from the important tourist sites such as St. Thomas Church, the Gewandhouse Orchestra, the Opera, and the shopping area. The staff was friendly and a computer was provided free in the lobby. I would also like to mention that in April I had a non-refundable reservation at this hotel that I could not use because of the Iceland volcano. In spite of the non-cancellable nature of my reservation the hotel nevertheless very generously gave me back my money. I hope to stay here again when I return to Leipzig. Nothing really.
good location and clean.
Clean cheap close to downtown and transport Wifi sucks and you have to pay to get it. Loud as anything with street noise and trams coming by every 5 min. Was not able to sleep well.
I found the hotel to be very convenient to the main railway station and the historic city centre more generally. My room was on the rear of the hotel with a treed view. It was quiet and while not overly large, quite comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful. The nearby street approach to the hotel was uninviting and I felt the need to be alert at night.
good location 1. nonsmoking room but smoked smell 2. Small room with weird lay out 3. noisy tram
Very helpful staff and good rooms, though a bit stale carpets. Very handy for the city. The decor felt tired.
the location was superb - right across from the train station and an easy walk into the center. The room was small but well designed and modern. The staff was only so helpful and there was simply no way I was going to be given a room before 3 pm. That's the first time that has ever happened to me in Europe.
The location is excellent as I arrived by train and my brother by bus. We were visiting family who live in different parts of the city, so the tram station was very convenient. It was also only a short walk to the shopping centre. I would stay there again. A few more tea bags, and sachets of milk in my room would have been nice.
Nice hotel friendly staff - good location - good value for money The air conditioning was not working and therfore too hot to bear due to the climate at this time being very hot .The hotel staff were indeed apologetic and nice to explain that it would be ok in a few days .
It is in the center of the city Too much noise, due to the tramway in the street, late in night and early morning
Very pleasant staff. Excellent breakfast. Proximity to HBF Room mostly too hot. Air conditioning not good enough. Earl Grey tea and black coffee only in room not enjoyed.
Hotel staffs are very kind and friendly. Location is very convinient, because it's direct near from main station. The room is small.
Very friendly and helpful staff - assisted me in finding how to get to Altenburg Airport, and Haus Auensee.
Close to City center, train station, Tram & Bus stops.
The location. Quite expensive for the size of the room and services you get. Only german tv channels were available or you had to pay even more. Breakfast buffet was a bit simple. Internet access was really expensive compared to the limited time you could use it.
The best thing about this HI hotel is its location. Just across from Main Station. You can't find a better location in Leipzig. Great breakfast. Bathroom has a very weird set up.
The Holiday Inn is literally steps from the Hauptbahnhof. It's also easily walkable to the inner city. We opted to take a more expensive room than originally reserved because the cheaper rooms have a tram line right in front of them. They serve only a tiny menu for dinner so eating out is necessary. Breakfast is fine but could also be purchased at the train station. Free wi fi is a plus. We would have preferred TV in the bedroom as we like to watch TV in bed.
