Family-run hotel with personal service in excellent English - breakfast divine. No comment
It was very nice in the Austrian sense of the word - kind, attentive staff. However reception closes at 7 p. m., so beware if you arrive later. It was a little bit hard to find it. Do not turn into the first street of the same name, which goes steep up the hill (if you happen to arrive from Salzburg or St. Johann in Tirol), just follow the stream of Inn further.
Location, in nature with view over the river, but still at walking distance from city center. The family atmosphere within the hotel was perfectly nice. The old building but still modern and clean gives a nice combination. The presence on a road with relatively intensive traffic might be a bit noisy
The beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious and the staff were very friendly The bathrooms were dated and small
The room was spacious, clean and tidy. Bathroom was great, very comfortable. It's just above the main road and without any aircon. A bit too noisy when the windows were open. It was also ridiculous that no one was at the reception and the entrance was locked when we checked in on one Sunday afternoon. We made the booking through Booking.com and were not told how to find the key which was underneath the flower tray in an evelope.
The hotel was good value for money, the staff spoke good English and were freindly and helpful It was right on a very busy main road with no pedestrian crossing opposite the hotel. crossing the road to get out was a nightmare especially with kids. The hotel is not 5 mins walk from the old town of Innsbruck as stated on your website, more like 15 to 20 mins
They have iron for pants in room At 20h00 no one was there (they left the keyroom in a vase), the room was frozen despite outside it was snowing, no assistance, they say:"Its not our guilty the building owner dont open the heating", I ask for electric heater they say "We cant bring you one" without justifications or excuses.
Friendly, clean, one of the best Euro-breakfasts at a hotel.
Close to our daughter who lives in Innsbruck. Staff were friendly. Worn decor, dirty stained carpet, no proper curtains and right by road so every car driving past at night shone headlamps into our room although on 1st floor also extremely noisy as traffic very fast and as no airconditioning had to keep a window open. Did not get much sleep although the beds were not uncomfortable. Bathroom very small and dull and shower had very little water pressure. Also had an unpleasant smell if door left closed. Not much parking and were encouraged to double park but this would have inconvenienced other guests which we found to be a strange idea as people might want to leave earlier than the owners of the car blocking them in. Reception did not keep track of registration numbers so could not aid guests.
Staff extremely kind and helpful. Large, comfortable room
charming old hotel No elevator in one wing of hotel
The hotel is confortable and clean. I think that it is ok for families with children. Good balance between price and service The parking is too little
the room was comfortable, clean and well equiped. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were excellent. Breakfast was fairly good too.
Location, free parking, Friendliness of staff
The hotel stafff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here.
breakfast is still OK bad staff in the hotel
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Most spoke english very well so it was very easy to ask for assistance with navigating the local area. The restaurant was very nice as well as the beer garden. The food was top-notch. Breakfast was included and there was a nice selection of European foods. We stayed in a four-bed room which was perfect for our whole family as opposed to having to get separate rooms. They allow dogs for a 10 Euro per night fee. Old Town Innsbruck was only about a mile away, across the river...very nice location. We would stay there again. Parking was a challenge especially with our nine-passenger van. Parking seems to be a problem all over Innsbruck. We were able to get a spot in the hotel parking lot but it required very careful manuevering to fit the van in. Although the service throughout the hotel was great, the service in the bar fell short. We patronized the bar on two occasions and both times we had difficultly obtaining service. The personnel didn't seem to have time to help us with the wine list or anything else. The hotel is located on a busy street and our room overlooked this street. We were awoken every morning at 7 a.m. by the sound of traffic and horse-drawn carriages. Not a big problem because we like to get up and start our day early.
The room was ok but hotel is on a busy street. All of their parking was full and they weren't too interested in telling us where to park. It was a hassle.
Bedroom and bathroom were spacious and well appointed. Receptionist was very helpful, changing our room to ground-floor to avoid the stairs. Breakfast was disappointing. The fresh fruit was mouldy.
This hotel suited our purpose exactly. Located in a quiet district only 5 mins. by car from the centre of Innsbruck. The staff & family members always helpful and attentive to our needs. They also gave us a complemetary bottle of wine to welcome us...How great is that!!!
the bathroom Carpet not quite clean (dusty) in the corners, but an old establishment so maybe being too critical. Could be very noisy from disco music next door. Breakfast room very small and service not really fast enough in replenishing food.
Secure parking, big room, clean. Very nice traditional building and great view! there's a mini market and gas station near to buy drinks and stuff. small breakfast room, from hotel it takes a 30 minutes walk to get to downtown so is not in the city center but it's ok!
Very good restaurant - both food and service.
Spacious and comfortable room, traditionally furnished. Friendly staff. There was a problem with our booking, but the staff were helpful and quick to accommodate us. Breakfast. The single bed in the triple room was not very comfortable.
It's an older hotel and picturesque, yet has updated washrooms. It may be more difficult to reach if you don't have a car.
The location as not to far out of innsbruck which made it peaceful but transport to the hotel by buses or taxis was not exspensive No bar facilities but small oposite was good would have prefered to be able to change and meet downstairs for a drink Breakfast could have been better if boiled eggs or scrambled been available
The convience of being close to Town but far enough away from the hustle and busle
