Water was leaking in our room and the staff didn't seem too bothered about it - not very helpful. Housekeeping and maintenance staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - shame the front of house staff weren't as nice!
that's a deal during excibition period. food at breakfast is not good for 4* hotel
The bus drive with A22 from the airport to the hotel. Get off at the 12th station. Wifi in the room. Breakfast.
If you like food, it's the great place to stay. All kinds of restaurants around the hotelin walking distance.
The huge bathroom. The resturants inside the hotel.
It had a shuttle to and from the hotel for the airport, also it was easy to get to from anywhere in the city.
Excellent breakfasts Wet carpet in all number which has dried up only every other day. The broken off bed-sheets, hole in a sofa, coming unstuck wall-paper, a view from the window on ventilation system in number Delux.
the i club room and the most is i-club floor service and the tea time. yes, the corridor in front of my room was very dark and i have call reception to change the light, but they never come even those i call for 2X
The room is nice and big. They upgraded me to deluxe room which have different themes. Internet charge is the way too expensive. HKD 180 per day!!
the beds were extremely comfortable the bath tub too small, small selection of non asian tv channels
The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful during my stay. The room is spacious and comfortable. We like the stay but it's a bit inconvenience when taking the public transport as we need to take a bus before we could reach the MTR station.
attentive and friendly staff, excellent location with superb views, especially from the roof top swimming pool. breakfast and evening buffets started clearing away exactly on time - could have waited 10 mins!
View of Harbour View Room, which is unique and breathtaking Size of Room, which is rare in Hongkong Health Spa, which has very good massagists Concierge, which is very helpful and friendly we found on two separate stays, that Room Service is extremely slow and tends to forget ordered items. It took us up to half an hour (!) for a cup of coffee. Check out procedures may take a long time (also up to 30 minutes), because of lack of front desk stations and sometimes large queues of people who want to check out at the same time
The hotel has beautiful harbour view, our rooms are spacious and comfortable, it's my dad's first time in HK, I am happy that I impressed him nicely by choosing this hotel.
View Rooms smell, out dated and over priced
the view was fantastic fitness center was close too early
Room was very nicely appointed. Lobby is very large and nice. View of the Harbour is impressive. Taxis come by frequently. The harbor path is good for running and looking at the sea. Lack of power ports. Hotel is not located near downtown Kowloon. Local restaurant selections are fewer than downtown. The hotel buffet for dinner and breakfast are expensive, but I did not find them worth the price.
liked the beautiful views from the lobby' nothing except I couldnt get an upgrade to a harbour view for lack of rooms
Great look at the harbour, especially from the pool on the roof, and main restaurant Massage service is not available immediately, should be scheduled in advance, not convenient for short stay
view from the room and roof top swimming pool - fantastic Would have liked to have been able to have a later check out or room to have been made available for changing when flight is in evening.
pool on roof top i am member since 2001 but still nobody can explain me what is my benefit
Excellent harbor views and skilled, service oriented staff.
stay there b-4. nice location. staff very helpful. carpet need better cleaning
Overall experience was good, located in a manageable walking distance from the subway station ( Mong Lok ) and the Ladies Market, about 10-15 minutes. Wasn't really fond of the upper management who visited the poor. Guys usually don't wear rash-guard to swim, but I do, to protect myself from sunburn. They instructed the lifeguard to ask me to remove it. Before this request, I've been swimming several times with it, and it was never an issue with the lifeguard or there's any policy posted regarding the use of rash-guard in the pool. I didn't comply, but it bothers me the lack of understand these managers had with it own policy and appropriate swim wear for a place that is supposed to gear towards hospitality.
Good location easy access to transportation. Very close to Monkok bargain shopping. ConveniENT airport shuttle bus. Fairly complete facility, free WI FI. Room on small side.
Close to neighborhood many night market streets vendor..clean ,house keeping best always replace water &bath items for regular use..polite staff. Some removed a receipt from my desk /room/ that had my signatures ,&replace with an on signed one. Of my deposit (500$)to room.I went to front desk..inform them .it should not been taaken.they asure me my deposit still valid.
Staff is good and helpful, room is comfy and everything works in the bathroom. A little off the way, but the hotel runs a shuttle to Mongkok and Star Ferry.
Service Service Service the staff try to help and help for all request and special the man in the restaurant door. all OK
We stayed over 6 nights at the Metropark Hotel Kowloon. Each and every staff member made us feel welcome and important. They made eye contact, they smiled, they listened. Even though the rooms are not big, they are comfortable, quiet and clean. Another great stay for us. We will be back.
Friendly staff, room is good size consider HK hotel always small room.
Nothing Room is so smelling, carpet and furniture are too old. Bathroom is ok. Workers are friendly. But the smell in the room make us headache. They really need a major clean up. I would give this hotel only one star, or even half star.
One of the 'better' English speaking staff was very helpful when we needed directions to another of our destinations. The hotel rooms were smaller than imagined. It's hard to judge the size of a room from a photo I realise but I didn't expect the rooms to be quite so small.
The room was clean and bed linens was changed every day with most essentials was there. The price was v.f.m. and it's location was excellent for transportation. The room is too compact with no wardrobe for luggage storage.
good location, good access to the city center (many buses), cleanliness, very comfortable bed. Recommended for 1-2 nights for not very demanding customers. Good price relatively to Hong Kong hotel prices (if enough early booked). Surely better than Kowloon hostels in similar price :) very small room (sure it is Hong Kong, but room's size can be surprise for not experienced travellers ;); staff could be more friendly - first impression not nice ("is any chance to check in before 2 p.m.? - NO!!! 2 PM!!!")
Perfect location! Very close to MTR Smallest room we have every stayed in! 2 people can't walk in the same room unless 1 is in the shower or on the bed. Other than that all fine.
Rooms are small as much of HK is. For anyone surprised by this, don't comment the information on the website is accurate about room size. Bathroom great. Air-con fine. Elevator not busy when needed. Wi-fi downstairs is fine. Breakfast ok. Alarm went off late at night for about 30 seconds. This is un-nerving being in a high-rise.
I liked the cleanliness and new design of the bathroom area even though it was small in general it was more than suitable. I also liked the fact they provided free bottles of water, toiletries and fresh towels. The walls had dirt smudges. The bottom mattress had hair and dirt stuck to the velcro. Horrible. The room was too small. The mattress area was too short and was blocked at the lower area by a wall. There is free WiFi in the lobby but it was not accessible in the room for some reason.
the room i stoo small, no place to put luggage
good value bad room design, lighting, flooring. inconvenient location
this is a new hotel and so the room is relatively clean. The room I lived in was an upgrade of a normal room without extra charge. The design uses space efficiently with a bit stylish. Hotel staff was friendly. Haven't been to HK for a long time and their room actually give you a smart phone to use for your stay in HK. Not sure if that's standard now in HK hotels. The location is not very close to any metro stn. but it was manageable.
Could hear everything going on outside and bathroom smelled like sewage
