We were so pampered by the resort. Siripanna arranged special wine and cake for us knowing that this was our honeymoon. We were so delighted and thankful for the staff. Everyone was so friendly and the whole resort is just beautiful and comfortable, almost like a paradise. We had such an enjoyable stay there and had an amazing time.
One of the best places we have ever stayed.......
We enjoyed every think inregards to the hotel the pool & thw staff were all very good & helpful.
Excellent location and outstanding service and decor also features a high-level
The staff were amazing and the hotel grounds and landscaper were absolutely beautiful...
Excellent landscaping makes hdtel feel rooted in the environment, even if only 18 months old. Old style elegance and comfort. You feel almost that you live in a community, which I have never found at any of the otherwise wonderful Asian hotels. Really good concept.
Just amazing .. And every thing near by
the professionalism of the staff and the fact that they understood everything first time .... very very good. only thing can think of is the aircon in the roojm probably needs rethinking.
Shower water pressure is too low
The Chedi Chiang Mai was very tranquil with beautiful architecture and excellent personal service from the staff. The club suite rooms are stunning and very well equipped. We intend to return. The club suite room was a little noisy due to its closeness to the road. However this should not put anyone off making a booking since everything else was excellent.
i liked the staff and the service, the location is convenient and the wood work is fantastic. no
Excellent service, staffs are always helpful. Very nice hotel with great food!
The service, luxury and location were all as expected. The hotel is not new but is well maintained. The limited number of rooms made for an uncrowded peaceful stay
Great location, very friendly staff, nice and modern design, quiet and pleasant atmosphere Food in the restaurant is to expensive, no internet corner, just two laptops for all guest is to little, none offer for facilities around chang rai,
I love how much attention to detail was takened in designing and running the hotel. The place actually looks as good as you see it in pictures. The location is excellent - along the Mae Ping River (giving it an added relaxing feel), yet right beside the night bazaar. The overall service level was very good. However, the night manager was less than competent at addressing some minor complaints.
I have never stayed in a hotel that was that organized in every respect. I used to work as a consultant for hotels in my younger days, and this hotel can be used as an example of the "state of the art". Please note that I am quite critical but in this case it is difficult to identify "room for improvements".Leif Prices for laundry much exceeds for which you can buy new clothes.
spa, Rooms, Hotel Design, pool, Location not too far , tuk tuk anywhere for 30-40 THB from hotel Room keys, too quiet and empty
A beautiful location with stunning views. Nice big rooms, helpful staff. Lots of activities can be arranged. A beautiful spot for those who want to escape the city and relax. Breakfast made with home grown produce from their garden eg: beetroot bread, strawberry jam. There are also interesting places to visit nearby eg: botannical gardens, elephant camp It would not be suitable for people who are mobility impaired, due to steep site. It is in a remote location and transport options are expensive. There are few nearby shops or restaurants so you need to be aware of this (it is not in Chiang Mai)
this is not a 5 star hotel maximum 3 or 4 no good house
the location and hotel design was excellent the transpotation to city center and tourist group travel in the hotelneed to increase the activities of the tourists tour and increase the number of the transpotation from and to the hotel
The peace and quiet. The room (Jacuzzi Villa) was stunning with a great view over the mountains. The restaurant (dinner and breakfast) was also situated over the mountains and the views were spectacular. The spa located at the bottom of the resort was also amazing and the therapists there far outshone any of the therapists we visited during our Thailand trip. The food and beverage prices were also good. The tiger zoo and elephant farm is only 10 minutes drive down the road. The location is a positive and negative. Positively you are far up the mountain and away from any noise or distractions. Negatively, it's a 45 minute taxi ride from the airport and a bit more from the city. Take mosquito repellent with you at all times. Wifi access from your room is impossible.
My wife and I were really enjoyed by this hotel, nature and we love it. We already made another booking for our anniversary next month.
This is a beautiful resort with a lushious garden and we could enter the pool from our room which was nice. If you're looking for a romantic spot, want to get some rest and massages, and do not want to do a lot of site seeing, this is a great hotel. Our room was a litte small for a "deluxe" room. The bathroom couldn't be closed because of shutters in the door and window to the room. Since I was travelling with a friend this was pretty inconvenient. It was low season and the poolbar was closed which was a pity. The resort is located far from the city centre next to a Carrefour. All the excitement is in Chiang Mai. Taxi fees are 200 bath one way, the price is non negotiable and you have to wait 15 minutes every time you need one. Late at night it's not very simple to come back to the hotel. Prices for spa treatments are close to European prices. Since I was travelling with a friend (and not my lover) this hotel wasn't the best choice for us.
The hotel construction is pleasing Hotel is not a 4 star, 3 at best. Internet, Sat TV were both spotty, mattress was uncomfortable, pillows too large. Free breakfast selection was disappointingly limited, It would have been nice to have some separation from children's area instead it was noisy at times. also construction was annoying and unexpected given the price.
The hotel room and surroundings were very beautiful. The pool is the most magnificent one we had ever seen. breakfast, diner, lunch, roomservice were all great. The only thing we disliked about the hotel was that it was quite far from the centre of Chiang Mai, and the fact that it was so quit that it seemed that we were the obly guests in the hotel. That meant that the pool bar was not open during our stay. The hotel should make more advertisement so they have more guest for a somewhat more comfortable stay.
Location I booked the hotel based on the reviews, but to my disappointment, it didn't impress me. The staff is nice, the location is good, that's all I can say the good things about the hotel. The hotel is not big, the setting is okay, the room is out dated, the food is the worst Thai food I ever had. So don't eat your dinner their, the complimentary breakfast is not bad. I am glad I stayed at the hotel for only one night.
Superb hotel. Designed with taste, very clean, well maintained. Located within the old city, easy for local tours to pick you up. Walking distance from other parts of the Old Town. Very good breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. Top marks for staff for being helpful and kind.Fantastic! The only improvement I can think of is to make one PC available in the lobby for the internet as not everyone carries a laptop (Wifi is available there)
Friendly staff who tried to their best ability, clean modern rooms, decent location, excellent meet and greet at the airport, good breakfast , good value. No evening maid service, somewhat difficult communication in english language with many staff, pool area has no drinks of any kind allowed, restaurant is across a busy street.
The spa is excellent and the location next to the river close to nice restaurants like GoodView is great. The mattress is a bit hard: especially if you used to a softer mattress it is quite hard.
Refinement, staff that was friendly, facilitries.closeness to where I wanted to be. Booking.com asked for all credit card detail. I dont liuke that it's a risk. To find out that we still had to pay at the hotel. Hence credit card details given by internet for no good reason, putting too much risk in the shoes of the customer. Fot hid reason we will try not to use booking.com next time
In short, I can tell you almost everything! In some rooms at the left hand side of the pool there is some noise of the engines of the pool, really a pity for this. The right side of the pool is perfect!!
It was a fantastic place to get away from the big cities of thailand to relax in such a tranquil environment. room service menu was limited.
