The bed was comfortable. It wasn't clean. The hotel might be out dated, but that is no excuse for all the dust that was in our room. There was about a one inch line all around the room where the vacuum couldnt get closer to the wall.
Fast check in, clean attractive yet basic room, nice tv, cheap price, im sold. Even had a bar attached. Working the heater was kind of ghetto but I'm getting really nit picky here
It was clean and has all features for a 4 star hotel
Proximity to the airport was unparalleled and location was near the interstate (without the noise). Hi water volume toilets in a place that is naturally very dry. Seems like a waste of valuable water resources.
Love the large windows in the room, good Spacenter in the room. Room felt like it was just the extra stuff room, paid for a sweet, much larger room.... same sized TV and stand put further away from the bed in an awkward location and setting. We stay here everytime I travel through this area and love there normal rooms. Will not upgrade again.
Location is great and price is reasonable. Furnishings are sparse but comfortable.
The views were amazing!! The king size suite was beautiful and large.
Close to CMU. Great lounge. Clean room. Good staff. Wi-fi was weak and mostly didn't work. I wanted to watch a baseball game that wasn't available in tv channels that were available.
Location was good for our trip. No temperature control either on or off.
Location was great. Easy access to downtown, business, etc. The price was very good for the quality of hotel. Staff didn't provide all information about amenities when checking in. Had to ask if they had a pool a gym and where they were. They could have offered recommendations to guest that were not on business travel to promote the city. Did not have free coffee/water set up in lobby. Resturant food was over priced and not very good.
Well maintained properly. Decent size room. A good value for $50. A wonderful accommodating front desk staff. Luke was very kind.
The price was good for the location and cleanliness of the room. The hallway smelled heavily of tobacco smoke.
Clean, friendly, wonderful.
Overall the place was great. Room was good and comfortable and clean The problem with the place was I asked for a non smoking room, but it was not, the place had a definite cigarette order. After driving for 13 to 14 hours I was just to tired to make the move to another room. Would be nice if the Clarrion advertised it to be a non smoking room that it truly be a non smoking room.
Checkin process was smooth and the desk clerk was very friendly (especially since it was after midnight). Hallways smelled of smoke.
Quiet rooms Roach
Hot tub, good breakfast, good service Nada
Attached restaurant that stayed open late. Beds were saggy and A/C unit had a loud clanging sound all night
Staff was very friendly, clean rooms, good bed and good breakfast. Getting in and out of the facilities parking lot was difficult because of road construction.
Very good place. The hotel staff was friendly, check-in was a breeze, the rooms were clean and the Italian restaurant was delicious. I had a pizza and returned to my room very satisfied!
The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. We stayed in the back so it was quiet and peaceful. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
Breakfast was the best. Very clean and comfortable. Large room. Fitness was room was small but had a good variety of equipment.
Rooms were comfortable and quiet and the breakfast buffet was awesome! Hot tub did not have the fast jets and agitation. It was just a tub of hot water.
It says continental breakfast but they actually served a full hot breakfast The beds were not comfortable.
They were super accommodating for us traveling with our two dogs, an put us in a room with easy outdoor access. The breakfast left a bit to be desired
Room was comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast was rather ordinary. No help with luggage. And the big surprise was that we were charged for parking. When we arrived, the front desk person asked 'Would you like a parking pass?' when what she should have asked is "Would you like to buy a parking pass?' For the price we paid for the room, we would have expected more spectacular breakfast, help with luggage, and free parking.
The layout of the room was so efficient! We loved the fact that one could shower and yet there was a seperate lavoritory. Ok, I don't want to be a punk here, but ..... there really was not anyting! Even the "Free" breakfast seemed first rate. Hampton has been getting pretty chinsy lately.
I've stayed at the properties before so I was holding this hotel to the same standards and was really disappointed. The girl that checked us in was a little rude and seemed to give robot responses to questions we asked about restraints. The room was very old. The mattress appeared to have a stain on it. The shower was clean but there was. I soap or shampoo so be sure to bring your own.
The staff were very helpful in each interaction. Octopus Coffee nearby is EXCELLENT! Paperthin walls resulted in lots of noise from neighbors and outdoors. Very lump bed and pillows resulted in very little restful sleep over three nights.
The staff was very nice and got us checked in quick during our late night check in. We had small children with us and after being in the room for about 15 minutes the lady at the front desk knocked on our door and said the people below were complaining. My kids were not running or jumping, we were just trying to get them settled in quick for an early morning. I understand it was late but still I think it was unnecessary after only barely walking in the door to be told to be quiet when we're not making excessive noise in any way.
Dog bark was not bad. Hard boiled eggs hard to peal. Small item. Staff was very very good.
Room was nice and clean and they gave us a warm cookie each during check in, which was a nice touch. We were on the sixth floor but the elevators were close and we were able to get to our room quickly. The pool and jacuzzi closed really early, which I wasn't too thrilled about.
Very nice, clean, comfortable beds, nice pool area and had a playground for younger children. I think that's a bonus for young families! There wasn't anything I didn't like! We enjoyed our stay very much!
Beds were big and comfortable, always love the cookies, and the lady at the front desk was very friendly!
Hot tub broken Parking fee
It's hard to get a real good feel for a hotel in one night but no complaints. We were showing some friends around downtown since we inherited some property on the other end of the mall. We had dinner and drinks so it was nice to close to the hotel. The beds were awesome, very comfortable and the staff was friendly. The elevator rubber wheels made a sliding sounds when coming to a stop on the 4th floor. It sounded like the rubber wheels were trying to catch up with the elevator stopping, a little weird sounding and bothersome. You might want to check on that.
Did not like having to pay for parking, understand where during convention times(which there was not much happening when we were there) the hotel would need to charge non guests for parking too make sure there is parking for hotel guests, just do not believe you should charge guests parking fee
Convenient to the station; friendly staff, comfortable room; some good restaurants Ice machine loud near my room; main street pretty short
great restaurants close by liquor store close by, Poke stop on grounds. smokers hanging out on walkway as there must not have been any smoker units left. I felt surrounded by smokers. The spa was not working
Looked like the rooms were recently updated. It was very clean and the kids loved the pool. Had an issue with the air conditioning in our room and it was promptly taken care of Nothing really
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Bed was clean and comfortable. Would definatly recommend if on a budget.
Room was clean. Bed was comfy. The room had a bit of a musty smell to it, nothing major but definitely noticeable.
Very clean hotel and friendly desk staff. Checked us in right away and gave tips about where to park and unload near our room. Gave lots of shampoo and little bars of soaps. There was a fridge (not sure if it was working), coffeemaker, microwave, and iron. Free simple breakfast items until 10 am. There was oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, coffee, bagels, etc. Very happy with this place for the price, I will be looking to stay at more Days Inns. In the morning, the cleaning staff was yelling and talking to each other right outside our door! We were still trying to sleep, so it was upsetting that the staff would be so inconsiderate. Then, when they were cleaning the room next door, they were banging stuff around and continuing the loud conversation.
Fast internet, clean, and very friendly. Pool looked good but did not use it. None
Disgusting rooms, non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes
Very reasonable, nice staff, close to restaurants
It looked like the room had been redone recently. New countertops, new bath/shower surround, possible new carpet. The room was very clean, but also tidy and well kept. The hotel grounds were very well taken care of, and free of weeds, leaves, and debris. Very comfortable stay. Would have been nice with a few more offerings in the breakfast area. I can understand why they don't, its a small room with very little counter space. Still, just enough to get going in the morning.
The breakfast is a great deal. Waffles, fruit, bagels, hot and cold cereal, juices, etc. I was quite pleased to have had my reservation acknowledged, checked in online, and I even got an email asking for our room preferences. So I filled it out, requesting two non-adjacent, (for privacy), downstairs, preferably handicapped rooms. My boyfriend and I both have bad backs and we were traveling with his 90 year old mother who walks with a cane. The form even asked if we had other preferences, so I checked off "extra towels" and "view room if available". Well, upon check in we were given, you guessed it, two UPSTAIRS, (not just upstairs, but through a heavy glass door), ADJACENT rooms, with a normal number of towels, and a view of the dumpster and parking lot. The young man at the desk managed to find a downstairs room for Mom, but I wondered why send the letter, and have me waste my time filling it out carefully, when it was completely disregarded?
Room came with more than I expected. Breakfast had a very good selection
Room was clean and well kept throughout our stay. Property was quiet. Ample parking. No concerns.
Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great place to stop for an overnight stay. N/A
Very helpful and friendly staff (Ivanna and her husband). She recommended good nearby restaurant (we were tired and hungry) and he helped us get the air conditioner running and she said I would be safe running the next morning in the area (which was true). The breakfast was fantastic!
staff (Ivanna and her husband) -nice people -I stayed 2 nights for the tour of the moon bike ride . they let me bring my bike into room . Also a great breakfast starts at 7 am. Proximity to down town and hiway is also very handy .will book again for next years ride. nothing.
Very friendly family run motel. Take pride in their motel. Needs some upgrading.
CALLED AHEAD FOR PACK-N-PLAY NONE AVAILABLE. NO ROOM AVAILABLE UPON ARRIVAL DESPITE CALLING AHEAD TO CONFIRM.
The staff was great! So friendly. My only complaints would be that the general hotel temperature was way too hot. 80 degrees in May. I was dying and I'm from California . And the wierd eggs for breakfast that I thought were just eggs but had a creamy cheese filling. Should have been labeled .Otherwise, I loved the place and will for sure stay there again. And will! Comfy beds...get a balcony..so worth it.
The hotel was very clean and well kept up. The staff were all friendly and smiling the entire time we were there. I loved that the young lady at the front desk was interested in why we were there and gave some great suggestions for food, activities, etc.
After our "over booked-no room available" welcome, I was not in a mood to find much to appreciate. "No room, we are oversold" Both my daughters & my booking provided an extensive conservation about sleeping accomidation. Steven, the desk clerk was doing his best to find rooms at other hotels. Everyone was full. After suggesting that I was considering restricting company expense allowances by any employee traveling on company business at all Marriott locations, he located one room at his hotel and found one additional room at another location. During the course of our conversation he mentioned that his manager instructed him to over book the number of rooms available. A very frosting experience!!!!!! (We called and informed the hotel that we would be checking in late)
Pets were allowed, the breakfast was great and varied, and the suite and hotel were very clean. The free use of the gas BBQ was a great bonus to not have to eat out.
Fairly clean no major issues. Bed was actually comfortable ac unit worked properly lots of parking couldn't hear people in other rooms. Breakfast was okay could of had better selection of things or more of things such as the fruit was always gone. Never used the pool so don't know about that. Stayed 4 nights and they never gave us a new bar of soap although it was gone on day two. Small things nothing major.
So dirty! Cheapest amenities.
We went to Grand Junction for a wedding. We saw that there was Ramada Inn and immediately decided to stay there because of our experience with Ramada in the past. when we arrived we expected it to be beautiful and nice with everything we needed without even having to mention it. It is obvious to me that the Ramada is owned by a private party of Indian descent. I don't care about where they're from but the hotel is very poor the there was sticky beer substance on the desk along with numerous other little items that were just tacky. If I worked for the Ramada Corporation this remodel would not meet quality control standards. I don't want my money back but I would like another night stay at another Ramada. This place was dilapidated dirty and outdated. It was a bit of a bait-and-switch we were baited by the Ramada name and very disappointed when we got there. I would very much like to have another night at another hotel to make up for this poor experience
I don't habe a problem with the hotel, but your service was abysmal. I made my reservation on 9/3, an unfortunate emergency meant I has to cancel that same day. In order to get a refund I was told I would have needed to cancel by 9/2. A full day before I made the reservation. So they got over $300 of my money, with out providing any real service because I inconvenienced them. The nerve of that is indescribable. I will never use this service, or book at that hotel, ever again.
The room itself was not very clean. The carpet was very dirty and so was the shower. The overall feel was that the establishment itself was very old and run down. It was also very noisy. As a weary traveler on a Mountain biking trip with friends... we splurged to get a hotel for the night and it was very disappointing.
It was very close to the airport for any easy morning departure. It seemed a little empty. As a solo female traveler, it made me a little nervous.
Looked like they were remodelling but an old motel. Did not feel welcome or secure. Breadfast was also poor.
Good value hotel with helpful staff The pool was a mess. Green and murky.
Staff were great, and the new owners as well. Good location near the airport. Rooms were nothing too special, but very clean and comfortable. Price was excellent.
I could have given all "excellent" ratings, but I used mostly "good" ratings in order to make the rating for Staff stand out. In particular, the service provided by Sierrah was exemplary!
Good basic hotel for a one night stay on a road trip. Right off the highway. Very clean.
The room was clean, staff was friendly And the price was unbeatable. Rooms were a little outdated. Which made it more economical.
Location, price, proximity to restaurants and interstate. The carpets in the rooms were unbelievably, incredibly, dirty. After showering I walked around for about 5 minutes, stepped back into the tub and made mud with the dirt that had collected on my feet. Continental breakfast was put out at 0630 with no further attention by staff until after service ended at 0930. Needless to say it was slim pickin's. The staff didn't ask how everything was when we checked out for fear of an honest response. We weren't murdered in our sleep, but we won't be staying there again.
Our room was not clean. There was debris in several places on the floor. There was food left in the mini fridge from a previous guest. The faucet and pipes in the sink leaked. There was not toilet paper in the bathroom. The beds were lumpy. Overall, the room had a shabby appearance.
Very little! the sign our front was for Travel Lodge, not Country Inns of America. The Staff was rude, sink and stool ran all night, could not turn heat off (room was 80+ all night), Maids left trash on floor and my 5 year old could have made the bed better.
It was a very nice room with lots of space and and clean. Big comfy bed. The heater didn't work and the room was freezing. Also there weren't any extra blankets and I froze. Also the internet hardly worked it took about 5 minute to check an email. Overall I might have been better off sleeping in my car.
The staff was pleasant, never letting on that I was about to get the worst hotel room of my life (a life that has been filled with hotel rooms.) Filthy. Stained. Soaked in smoke smell. Had rowdy all hours clientele that kept me up all hours. Boo.
We liked the garden/pool area room phone didnt work. there fire alarm looked like skme one ripped it off the wall. the so called "cold" air was warm like a heater and looks like the housekeepers spent a whole ten min cleaning, all sorts of trash under bed skirts, wad of black hair in shower and the microwave was dirty
The staff was nice. I asked for a nonsmoking room and got a room that smelled strong of smoke! My friend two doors down had this same problem. I had to spray neutralizer all weekend and still smelled like a smoker when I got home from the trip. Don't stay there if you are a nonsmoker! The breakfast had waffles and a couple of different kinds of cereal. That's all! I'm not picky, but there was no fruit, yogurt, eggs and the juice machine was out of order, so nothing to drink but warm milk.
Super desk clerk and friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. No lights working outside the room. Poor temperature control with 110V thermostat.
The price and the cleanliness of the rooms were great. There was no pool.
Staff is great and very accommodating Little older little dated but best value
The staff are very friendly, and the room is clean. Parking lot is nearby and it's quiet. I would definitely go again. The continent breakfast could be better, say for example there should be juices.
Helpful Staff Every door on my floor slammed ridiculously loud anytime one was used- not conducive to relaxing or getting much needed sleep.
They were nice the rooms were clean they have an outside pool that my kids loved so all in all they had fun as did I.
The complimentary breakfast was great. I believe, Marta, had the place up and running before 6am. The French toast was not overcooked, had hot syrup, & sausage was great. Sil, at check-in, was accomadating to get me a first floor room after a long day of traveling. She was also friendly at check-out early the next morning. The room was not clean. There was someone else's hair from shaving on & around the dish that had the shampoo/soap bottles. The bathroom had at least a week worth of dust on top of the shower. Dirty washcloths were in the bathroom as well. The tea bags in the room were stained so at one time they had gotten wet, but were just returned & flipped over. I probably will not be back to your location!
It was bug infested and smelled like urine. AC did not work. The carpet was way overdue for replacement.
I have stayed at Mesa Inn before without any issues. This time was a nightmare. It took three (3) times for them to get my key right, them the room was dirty. I was then moved to another room that was even worse. The maid made the beds with the dirty sheets on them, hair in the tub, bathroom floors were filthy, sink had muck in it, carpet was not vacuumed, and someones personnel beginnings were still in the room. The manager looked at me and said sorry I don't have anymore rooms. He didn't offer even to have someone clean it for me. The maintenance man offered to clean my room. I wasn't even offered any kind of compensation for my horrible experience. I usually stay two nights. I felt like the manage should have compensated part of the price of my room. It took two (2) hours for me to get a clean room.
No one was around to greet me/ check me in when I arrived, another guest had to find someone for me. Online reservation didn't go through, had to pay twice as much for the night. Bathroom door doesn't latch/lock. Could hear someone with the TV blaring all night on one side and someone snoring on the other side. Got a few hours away by car and realized front desk man didn't give me my license back. I called six times over the next 24 hours with no answer before I called the Grand Junction police department, who of course got an answer on the first ring. Still haven't received my license in the mail...
