I purchased the "extended parking" when I didn't need it. Kayak listed a room with parking, which didn't clearky state that it was only extended and not just general parking.
The staff was very friendly. Almost the entire parking lot was blocked off so we had to park on a second parking deck with no entrance. The drop off area was very crowded due to coned off parking lot. The ac unit in the room was extremely loud.
The staff was very helpful and the rooms very nice and clean...great view of the mountains and downtown from my room! The wifi was pretty bad...Struggled to get some of my work done...
It was clean and staff was nice. I did not like that there was construction being done on the building and we were not told ahead of time or given any kind of discount for the room. Also despite paying for my room in advance and them taking my card and having it on file I got charged a $25.00 fee that I was told would eventually be put back into my account. I have been checked out of the room for almost two days and the fee is still not back in my account. I think the fee was unnecessary when they already took my card information. I was also not told about this fee when booking the room.
The staff was super! Friendly and attentive! Very clean!
I rrally enjoyed checking in with the friendly staff at the Double Tree. I work at the Broadmoor Hotel and I will say, the service that I recieved was excellent. The staff and my room was oustanding. Thank you for all the great hospitality.
The hotel was clean & comfortable. There is a frig but no microwave in the room. We felt safe in the hotel itself, but the surrounding neighborhood isn't the best.
Outdoor hottub was awesome during the snowstorm. Pool open 6 am to midnight! Also very close to good shopping and unique restraints in a nice neighborhood. We loved it.
Bed was comfortable, location was great for me, not too many noisy neighbors. Parking was horrible and no one told me about the parking garage when I checked in. Room cleaning inconsistent.
Pool and hot tub were nice. Bed was comfy as are all Hilton brand beds. Location is not very good. Too far from downtown. Breakfast was expensive and very mediocre. To top it off, our bank account was charged for extra charges after we checked out and when we call to find out what the charges were for, their "accounting department" is impossible to reach.
Two words: fitted sheets. I shouldn't have to remake my bed when I want to sleep in it after paying over $150 for the night.
Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Proactive and friendly staff. Good breakfast and free parking
There's a very clean and modern feel to the rooms and lounge areas, with a great pool, hot tub, guest laundry room as well as fitness room. Upon entrance you are greeted by friendly, helpful staff. There was a live performance in the lounge/bar area when we returned to our room on Wednesday night. Although we did not stay to see the whole act, we did comment on how fun that was, but didn't notice other performers the rest of the time we were there, although we weren't around much during the evening. Rooms were comfortable and clean! In the mornings there are fresh apples, newspapers and a water decanter with lemon and lime slices for the taking as well as a Starbucks vendor around the corner for those who need a bit more. You're also nearby restaurants and shopping and not very far from the downtown area at all. As most people have and will comment, the Light Rail is somewhat of an inconvenience as it mandatorily honks at every cross street night and day, but the hotel does mention that on it's website and as you arrive so you should know what you're getting yourself into before it happens. They are kind enough to offer you earplugs as well. As we were on vacation, we didn't see it as a big deal at all. We honestly didn't have many cons on our list aside from the pool being a bit cold for our liking and the parking situation was kind of a bummer. They have a parking fee or valet or the final option was to park in the street for free (Which was alright. We were able to park nearby our window each night and had zero problems with our vehicles or street sweepers). Free wifi would have been a plus, but overall we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend it and stay again!
I liked the cleanliness of the rooms and the accomodating nature of the staff. I didn't like being charged for internet or parking.
- Decent bar, great food at said bar - Very friendly staff that asks which side of the building you'd like, a fairly rare experience for me - Clean and spacious - It seems on the ground floor like it's going to be loud, but the set up turns out to make that a non-issue in rooms. - Not close to much you'd want to see, wouldn't use as a base for a stay in Denver, but it's very easy to get to if you're on your way from Denver or the airport to somewhere else (or vice versa). - On the west side of the building you may hear obnoxious protesters in the morning who have nothing better to do than harass women seeking healthcare. They don't tell you this when you check in and they ask which side of the building you'd like. - Although my car was parked, they didn't think to tell me to keep my room key until I got my car. This created a bit of a headache.
Staff, service, room, restaurants, lounge all top-notch. Staff especially sharp, helpful and attentive in ALL areas. Our event was enhanced by the helpfulness and efficiency of the excellent staff as well. My wife and I both were very impressed. Breakfast service at the hotel restaurant was strained due to lack of enough staff. However, those that were working gave service unexpectedly above and beyond given the hectic conditions.
Staff were courteous and helpful. Shuffle to airport on departure. Business center. Distance from downtown. Noisy. Overpriced. No separate shower. no refrigerator. Stirrers instead of spoons. Food was mediocre
The bed was fine, the staff friendly, and the bathrooms were clean enough. It took me over an hour to connect to their internet, even with tech support on the line, and even then only via wi-fi as the LAN line wouldn't ever work. The television was a decade old and could never properly decipher the signal, maintain a single screen instead of split, or pass audio through an HDMI port. As much as they're charging, some of those profits need to be invested in upgrading their outdated and insufficient equipment. I wouldn't go back.
Good location, fair price for nice room.
Bed was comfortable The hotel is right next to the highway and train tracks, we could hear everything. The hotel goes so far to include a noise reduction machine in your room but even with the volume on high we were woken up frequently by the train. Location is ok being that it is close to he highway but far from restaurants/shopping. Also, there is no free wifi-for one day you have to pay just under $10. The bathroom had an unfinished feeling to it as well. The bed was extremely comfortable so that was definitely a positive.
Great location, easy parking, excellent price. Enjoyed the little patio off the room. Wireless internet was poor--couldn't even connect.
The room was nice and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. They are still charging for wifi which seems pretty archaic these days, especially since the facilities are geared more toward business travelers.
Very affordable for a big room with 2 queen beds and a patio overlooking downtown Denver and the mountains. The sliding door to the patio was in really bad shape. Other than that, great experience. Service was second to none
Nice balcony. Well designed lobby Did not get the room I booked.
The included (albeit paying a lil more on the initial purchase) morning breakfast was amazing! Made to order omelet, all you can eat oatmeal, potatoes, eggs, bacon, fruit and croissants. Worth the trip to have that I must say. Complementry shuttle service took us to the Denver Museum of Science and History, and picked us up as well! The location was perfect for the convention down the street, and the concert we went to at the Ogden. I was pleased with the whole experiance. Even with the open atrium aesthetic of the hotel, the room was mouse quiet. No voices in the hall, no movment in the ceiling, even morning breakfast was peaceful. Very close to many fast food restaurants, liquor store, and walmart. We couldn't stay longer! And the Ogden theater was outside of their shuttle service. The parking lot is pretty bad. It's basically the peremeter of the building and the adjacent building. So parking in the front is near impossible if you arrive late.
I liked how close it was to downtown Denver and was close to the freeway and a shopping plaza right across the street that came in handy ! I tried to check In 2 hours early and the lady at the front desk told me it was going to be another hour and a half until my room was ready. I was fine with it since I was a little early I came back 2hrs later and another lady that was working the desk told me it would be another 2hrs because they get "cleaned throughly" which frustrated us because we had made plans that for day and we had to wash up since we had just drove 12 hrs to Denver and the lady didn't seem to care. When we finally got our room it was really dusty and the tub felt grimey. Also the size of the room was quiet cramped it felt like only one bed was supposed to fit in there but instead they put two. I felt like I could of got my money's worth somewhere else for a more spacious room for the price I payed
The location is convenient between the airport and city. The staff was friendly and efficient. They even printed me a map to find a restaurant nearby. The room was a decent size and clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and really good. Overall, I would stay there again when in Denver. Bathroom was alittle dated and worn but still clean.
The staff was excellent. Krystal (I think that was her name) at the front desk was very accommodating. The bar staff was also great. Housekeeping did a great job, very warm and gracious.
Room didn't get cleaned and no towels restocked for next day had to call front desk 3 times to request this
Toilet didn't flush all the way.
Obviously I had to say this last minute hotel really caught my eye, the rooms was spacious, have a balcony in my room, luxurious breakfast all you can eat buffet. I had the best experience ever and so did my kids
Room was very clean, spacious, and comortable. We loved the bathroom decor and the cleanliness. The balcony was a highlight as well, great view and provided a comfortable breeze at night. The breakfast buffet was delicious. N/A
Breakfast was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Pool needed to be warmer and cleaned up a little. I got hurt in the pool and had to go to the dr due to a slippery tile step in the pool
The staff were all very nice and the front desk clerk from night before was also incharge of breakfast the next day. He was pleasant, but most defiantly overworked. He gave us a different room upon request, as the first room we entered the TV was not producing clear picture. The truth be told, atleast there was no bug issues! The prices for snacks and other non essentials were astronomical in price. Such as $2.00 for 16oz water, and $1.00 for school lunch size bag of chips. The hotel room was in need of TLC, and some of the light fixtures were missing light bulbs. The shower curtain was ripped and just plain old in both the first room and second room. No Bacon for the breakfast, as it was all gone before 8 am.
I got to the hotel to check in and I was told I wasn't able to because I needed to be 21 years old. I am 20 and no where did it say I needed to be 21. No refund was given. I had to stay somewhere else for the night and pay more...
My air conditioning didn't work
Very nice and helpful
The customer service was excellent. The rooms were spacious. We really appreciated the refrigerator and the microwave. The location is very convenient, its within 2 miles of...Wal Mart, Buffalo Wild Wings, Live Basil Pizza, Dispensaries, Liquor Store, Enterprise Car Rental, Del Taco, Mall, SmashBurger, etc. The hallway smelled like a Snoop Dogg smoke session (I am a marijuana enthusiast and still was bothered by the scent). The rooms could have been a trifle cleaner or the costs $5-$10 less.
Breakfast was good. The hotel was so outdated and dirty, neighborhood felt dangerous in p.m. garbage over flowing, pool grounds very dirty. Quality inn should be embarrass to have their name on this building. Don't believe the pics you see on web. They Deffinetly used a professional photographer, in real life it's like a polished turd. If my money could have been reimbursed I would have left!
I returned from business at 4pm and my room hadn't been cleaned.
Overall it was good place to stay which was close to the zoo and other attractions. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. We walked by the maid with our one year old who was asleep and she knocked very softly an hour later to bring us more towels. We really appreciated that. I was worried with a one year old and the cleanliness of the hotel, but once we got there I wasn't as worried. The pool was outdoor and clean, but around the pool it was quite cluttered. The bathroom was okay, but definitely not the cleanest I've ever seen with uneven grout color in the tiles and some black stuff on the ceiling. These seem more like long term maintenance issues and not individual maids.
The staff was very nice. The gentleman at the check in was the best part of the experience by far. Quite surroundings (even though it was a little scary) It's right next to a Super 8 or Motel 8 and it's SCARY! Every time you drive up you have to drive through this scary little parking plaza and it's just creepy at night. The ironing board was badly stained and there was a huge crater in my mattress. Like a 500 lb person had just used it and didn't turn over the cover. The shower nozzle couldn't get the temperature just right. Oh, and there was a family of 8-10 staying in the room across from me. At first it was funny/cute how rowdy they were but then it was time to sleep and those kids were hopped up on sugar for a while.
The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our family.
Location Very run down, poorly repaired,if fixed at all, infrastructure is old, amenities are bare minimum.
clean, beds comfortable, good breakfast room too hot, exercise room under construction
Bed was comfortable Bathroom didn't have a good light so you have to take a shower in the dark, the tv was old, it isn't in the greatest neighborhood.
The room had dead spiders in the corner of the ceiling, hair on the pillows and the bathtub was dirty..
Old, run down, and smells funny. They advertised a fitness center and it doesn't exist anymore. Pool wasn't filled when I went. Not worth one penny we paid.
budget hotel, tolerable for short stay horrible bed, sheets weren't fresh and appeared used.
Room was clean. Bed was better than usual, NOT hard as a rock. Staff was RUDE. As cleaning staff came in the morning first thing they did was eat ALL the food that was to be the continental breakfast for the Hotel Guest. None was left for the paying guests. Management just shrugged and did nothing about it. I will NEVER stay in this Motel again, and will think twice before staying at a super 8.
Nothing-unless you only need a place to get a couple z's Got there and didn't have my room (they substituted 2 queen beds for 1 king) got to room and it was filthy! Dirty towels were in the tub, trash wasn't taken out and the bed was still unmade
Great location & friendly staff Rooms were dated & door locks were very hard to get open.
parking lot not maintained, trash everywhere and security lighting was not working. It looks like a Drug dealers favorite place to be.
Staff & location were both nice. Door lock was old & didn't work well. Bathroom was tiny.
I only liked the location and price was okay Was too small. Felt and looked dirty. The bathroom at the lobby was really dirty.
Room was small but clean, our windows were over the pool so it was an okay view. AC worked well and kept us cool in the 90 degree heat. We needed an affordable place to stay for a single night and it worked well for us. We plan to book here whenever we have a short stay in Denver. The ceiling and walls were cracked but nothing major. Room looked nothing like the pictures but we weren't expecting it to anyways.
Great decor. Very clean. Need more parking
the location close to the shoping mall and easy to find, close to the airport
It was close to the freeway. Staff lied to me about my AAA discount. Said they applied it but didn't and charged me the full amount.
Great service That I couldn't check in early
I was accused of trying to give the staff a counterfeit bill to pay for snacks. I tried explaining that it was an old bill and was printed before the strip was in bills. I was given rude, snappy answers. Then other staff members began to be rude to me. I approached them again about the issue only to be treated the same way.
staff, confort, easy to find the room was not ready when i did de check in
Room was spacious The movie delivery system is the worst I have ever seen. Bad enough that I would not stay there if it was still in place and I may want to watch a movie.
Supper included Nothing very close, industrial area
Beds were very comfortable, the rooms were clean the service was good and the food was also very good. Not a thing, it was a great stay.
The place was filthy, old, dingy and stunk. The a/c in our room didn't work and they were happy to give us another. But both rooms were had very old furnishings, and bedding and were not clean. After deciding that we couldn't sleep even for one night in this disgusting place, we were told that they would not refund our money because it was over 30 minutes since we checked in. (It had been about 50 minutes). I would not recommend anyone try to book here.
Price We got the key, drove to our room, drove right back to the desk and checked out (didn't even bother trying for a refund). This is the kind of place that people live in when they can't qualify for an apartment. There were sheets hanging in windows that had duct tape over cracks, small crowds of unsavory people hanging out by the parking lot and the looks that we got were those of predators waiting on their prey to fall asleep. I didn't expect much for the price, but I didn't expect to be afraid or disgusted.
Nothing. This hotel is disgusting. The staff was rude. The website says there are roll away beds available which is untrue. The beds were all sunken in. The comforters were gross and the sheets were scratchy. When i woke up I started feeling itchy only to realize later that I'd been bit multiple times by bed bugs. This was my worst hotel experience ever. I am trying to get a refund.
The location was where I needed to be, but I will never stay there again because it was awful. Our room was on the 3rd floor. As we walked down the hallway there was a skunk-like odor. The internet went in and out and worked so poorly it couldn't be used. The hotel clerk said it depends on how many people are staying there and using the internet. It's known for being very, very slow. The TV had dark edges around the screen and couldn't be adjusted and then stopped working. The shower water flow was very low because half of it was coming out the faucet in the tub. We were short towels. The place felt unclean. And then there was a cockroach on the kitchen counter. It was about 4 hours into our stay and we just wanted to leave and get our money back. I wanted a full refund, but would settle for a portion. No way. The hotel clerk would only switch rooms and if we ran into internet problems again or a cockroach or anything else unpleasant, it was our problem. My daughter and I chose to leave. I'm working on trying to get our $60 back. I can handle conditions like this when I'm backpacking through Asia and paying under $8 U.S. dollars. But it's not what I was paying for to stay in Denver, Colorado. Book somewhere else.
Dirty! Terrible experience. I felt unsafe
Nothing Well the smoke alarm was hanging off the wall and for a NON smoking floor i could snell tobacco all night and the bathtub didnt drain priperly itines it and it took 35 minutes for a 10minute shower to drain but i guess thats normal considering there was FReakINg BlOOd splatter ALl over the outside bathroom DOOR i wouldve complained to get a discount or my money back but i know kayak and hotels have a bunch of policy rhetoric bullshit to free themselves from ever giving money back so ill just nver stay atthat place againfor what i was charged it was NOt worth it in any way shape or form and YES i recorded videos of the disgusting room and i will be posting them on my Youthbe channel :)
I liked that my refrigerated worked good. The first room they put me in had broken air conditioning didn't realise that till we were unpacked. Then after 2 days of being mad about that they finally gave us a different room where the cable television didn't work. But finally the next day they came & fixed that .The breakfast was terrible cause the food was stale & old .Housekeeping is very rude.
The beds felt okay. The room size were fine. The value wasn't bad, you get what you pay for. Their breakfast was so little and crappy that it definitely was not worth the 3 dollars a person they were trying to get. The tv sucked, more than half of the channels didn't work. You could hear the people in the next room. House keeping went through our stuff. One of their elevators sounded horrible, like it was going to crap out at any moment and the other one sounded a little bit better but we still took the stairs a lot. I think they spend more money trying to look like a good hotel then actually fixing everything and being a good hotel.
It was cheap Cockroaches in bathroom Blanket was covered in cigarette burns Entire hotel smelled like urine Water was randomly turned off one morning
